Using the experience gained in that horrible experiment, I buildt this awesome Cybertronian Starscream!

I bought a Kreo Battleship set just for the peices and it helped a lot. It's made mostly out of Kreos, many Legos, and there's a tiny bit of Built To Rules and Megablocks used.

So, why "cybertronian" again? Because it's easier. Shut up.
I also LOVE spaceship and I buildt a lot of them in my childhood. So, I'm already some sort of "expert" in Lego spaceships. Also, I really love Starscream from the Cybertron series and the toy have a simple transformation scheme that is easy to reproduce and/or adapt.

Have some pics:

This magnicicent vehicle is rock solid. There is NO PARTFORMING AT ALL and everything peg nicely together. I can take the ship and go "woosh2 without problems. It even have a human pilot in the cockpit, with dashboard and everything!

Next post, TRANSFORM!

In this transformation, there is NO PARTFORMING AT ALL. Appart the two big leg panels and the left null-ray, nothing accidentally pop off in transformation.

Here we go!

Move the null-rays out of the way and unpeg the legs.

Image

Move the legs in position.

Image

Unfold the arms.

Image

Put the arms in the proper way.

Image

Unpeg and fold back the engine block.

Image

Open the engine block completely.

Done!

Robot mode next post!

On with the robot mode.

As most Kreo bots, Starscream have a big torso and very thin arms and legs.
He's still too heavy and he have trouble standing up on his own. So, forget about any fancy poses. Still, the robot mode look pretty good with good proportions.

Here he is with a Coke can to show how tall he is.

I'm pretty proud of that success. He is now proudly on display in my Starscream collection.

Nice work!

I lost interest in Lego years ago, so not into Kreo, but I think he looks brilliant :APPLAUSE:

Thanks, but once again, I fell into the trap of building something too big and unposable.

Next time, it will be a deluxe sized Autobot.

That is awesome, nice work!

When I first say Kreo, I thought, "well that is cool. Wait, what?! they don't transform?!" Was that so hard Hasbro? The legs and arms fold up, think your 80s toys, fold and lock, not that hard of a concept. You are a billion dollar company.

Kanrabat, brilliant job designing your Starscream. You could help out Hasbro.

Thanks!

However, making it transformable is really hard because you have to consider the look AND the solidity. My Starscream look great, but he cant do any poses.
If you take Bumblebee, he look great and have no problem taking any poses.

Sacrifices must be made no matter what you want to do.
