Lol he's such a bitch but a sneaky bastard I don't even think
Starscream can trust starscream oh wait he can't he killed his clone that was gonna kill him

would cause all this .It is kind of awesome though ,I do love reading different viewpoints . I guess I just don't really understand why they just did not make a "Prime" version of Drift ,if that is the direction they were going with the character .It just seems like they wanted to add a G1 inspired design to the cast . Most of my comments are really just for fun ,and I really do like Wheeljack
in Prime ,I even have his figure .It seems like all decisions are made "on the fly" .Take what they (Hasbro ,producers ) said on the Prime DVD bonus feature -They were first going to use Ironhide
in the series instead of Bulkhead ,but since he died in DOTM ,they changed it to Bulkhead
,so that "kids" would not get confused .Plus they only used the name "Cliffjumper
" just to use an classic (not heard of for a while ) name .
(he is cool ) but is not a great homage to the show I grew up with .

Hey man, watch the language. Remember, kids are on here too. I know I slip on the stairs every once in a while, but I try to monitor myself. Anyway, in response to MINDVVIPE...

At BotCon 2011, I asked about why Wheeljacks seems Drift-like at the TF: Prime panel, and the guys on stage said that they were wanting to create a warrior-like character and asked Hasbro who it should be. Hasbro's answer: Wheeljack. They made Wheeljack be the warrior because Hasbro told them to.michael alex kawa wrote:I guess I just don't really understand why they just did not make a "Prime" version of Drift ,if that is the direction they were going with the character .It just seems like they wanted to add a G1 inspired design to the cast .
Derrick Wyatt also commented on this prior to DOTM's release. He said in a podcast that, when he was briefly brought in early into the design process of Prime, Bulkhead was going to be Ironhide like you say, but as they began to flesh out his character more, they realized that they were basically making a new Bulkhead-type character rather than an Ironhide-type. So, they decided to simply switch him to being Bulkhead instead of redoing the character from the ground up.michael alex kawa wrote:It seems like all decisions are made "on the fly" .Take what they (Hasbro ,producers ) said on the Prime DVD bonus feature -They were first going to use Ironhidein the series instead of Bulkhead ,but since he died in DOTM ,they changed it to Bulkhead

Thing is, all of these individual series are indeed adapted from the same continuity production bible. It's just that Hasbro's giving each creative team so much leeway that it's making it harder for fans to put the pieces together. And Hasbro simply doesn't care.michael alex kawa wrote:The real BIG issue I have is Hasbro "trying " to connect all these "Very unrelated " series together (Prime ,WFC,and Exodus ) .
Cybertron was intended to be a sequel, but Takara apparently didn't get the memo (or just outright ignored it) and tried to make it a reboot. But after Hasbro attempted to retcon it back in with Armada and Energon, Takara turned around and did the exact same thing with Galaxy Force. Many discrepencies were given explanations and corrections in the Fun Publications comic and story fiction for Cybertron, and even the show itself was not above making callbacks to Armada and Energon in its animation (Unicron's Armada body debris floating in space, Alexis appearing in her Energon design, Armada Mini-Cons showing up on Gigantion cave murals, etc.).michael alex kawa wrote:It is as bad (or worse) as connecting the Unicron trilogy together (yes Armada and Energon fit together ,but not Cybertron ) .Just let the series stand by themselves ,it is a lot less confusion .
It's in da rules.Hotrodimust wrote:Watch the language lol kids watch revenge of the fallen right and skids called that Internet news kid a pussy so now go write a letter to hasbro and tell them to watch the language. I didn't say anything that can't be heard on tv
I wonder where Ironhide's been all this time and what he's been up to.Mindmaster wrote:I really hope Ironhide will make an appearance in the show. I don't care if he ends up as a generic Transformer model, he needs to make an appearance!
