Loved this Video review. This is the first time I've seen the Comic head on the finished product. Liked seeing that Autobot symbol on the toy. This is a must get for me.

Yeah. Looks pretty sturdy, I have to be honest (I imagine the final product's hands will be a lot more robust, as this is just a test shot).

Also that candy red is just beautiful.

Omegalock UK have updated there FB page saying

KFC Toys EAVI METAL Phase Four: A - Transistor will be released on 8th Dec 2014.
We expect to have him in stock a week after the release date.

Since this is KFC where talking about. I'm not worried about this selling out and then having to pay more on ebay for it. Think There are bound to be V2 with fixed problems that V1 had. Also think the chances of KFC doing multiple recolors like Twincast and flat red 1985 toy colors is high.

I don't think this will go on sale... People are actually liking this and reviews has been good so far, besides the chipped paint. I do think they'll make a non shiny paint version and a twincast version cause KFC loves repaints and those are obvious ones to do.

Here's my detailed review.

TLDW; good mold, not great, but paint is a personal choice. Poor paint apps and lack of paint in key areas for both Transistor and HiFi make it a less polished product than most other 3P offerings nowadays. I personally expect more from a company that's been around a long time. That said, he does look the part and fills a gaping hole in the war against Soundwave and his minions and at the price point and included accessories, he's a worthwhile buy (or you can opt to wait for a non-metallic version).
