Knock Off Alternator Question

Hey guys… I have a question for ya… lately I have been working on making a few custom Transformers from KO Alternators… & I have a question about the legs. I noticed with a few of the Subaru molds that the joint where the ankle meets the trunk is really tight. Very stiff. My question is do any of you know of a good way to remove the parts from the car without breaking them?
