Here's a necklace I just finished.
Title: Jazz (G1) Necklace
Materials: .925 sterling silver, lapis lazuli, turquoise-colored magnesite, freshwater pearls, black onyx, sponge coral.
Notes: Oh man. This thing went through SO MANY revisions before I finally was happy with it. I still haven't figured out earrings to go with it, but I finally decided to stop trying to force them.
I drew most of my inspiration from Jazz's Martini racing - "inspired" livery. I went through quite a few iterations, trying to recreate the feel of the red, dark blue, and aqua before I was happy with the results.
The center bead is a 12mm red sponge coral round, flanked by magnesite rondelles and lapis lazuli cylinders. The rest of the necklace is strung with 7-8 mm freshwater pearls, accented with diamond-shaped black onyx beads. The clasp is a lobster claw, with lapis lazuli chip accents.
The necklace measures 23" plus a 1.5" extender chain with a black onyx accent. All metal findings are .925 sterling silver.
