So.....I get home from work and wife says I have a package from my sister.......and here is what is inside...

I think Sentinel Prime I'll call Blaster.......

She couldn't find Jazz, Prowl, and Mirage....but there awesome!

found some on ebay last night but they were ridiculous. One seller had them listed , a mixed set of 12 for something like $85 bucks..

On a seperate note, Im slowly getting addicted to kreo-formers. I just finished sideswipe last night and rushed to TRU today( buy 1 get 1 %50 off) and scoopd up Starscream, megatron, Mirage, jazz and BB. Im holding off on the huge Optimus, waiting to find some space for these guys. Once you get them together they are amazing!

hasbro really needs to get on top of selling these guys in 2 packs or something.
Even better, let minimates make some TF guys.

Good point about selling them. Or like the leggo Halo does and give the mystery pack away in singles....throw in some extra's...

Ironhide....already have ratchet...only need is a re-paint

Or in there battle packs like Halo does.

Did you find Mirage and Jazz at TRU?

I'll give hasbro some time before I do like TC and buy singles secondhand. These would just go so well with all my other mini-figures though.
I have a friend who's really into lego's, he builds amazing custom stuff. It looks as if kre-o's and legos are compatible. Perhaps I'll go the route of buying the sets, and giving him the kre-o's. Or maybe my little cousin. We'll see.

Hasbro know exactly how lucrative these little guys are. They're not gonna sell them in separate packs while people are buying the box-sets just to get them. Not until the popularity wanes anyway.

I suppose, and if it sells well, then why split them up? They'll continue to sell them packed together like this as long as they're selling. Hasbro wont even know we want kreons separate from kre-o's.

I think the sets are cool. They make good pics with the kreons. And this is new, maybe down the road they may do some characters where you could just buy the kreons. Only time will tell. I should be getting my Starscream kreon in the mail tomorrow. Spent 15 bucks for him.

Which set does Shockwave come in? So far i have Megatron and Scarscream and built both in vehicle modes. Both are great! Starscreams jet design is really cool. Looks like a cross between an F-15 and F-22. But it really reminds me of the Jet from the movie "Fire Fox".

I'm curous if these sets would be doing as well as there are if it wasn't for the little mini figures. I'm a huge Lego collector and mini figures have never really been all that apealing to me. (more of a technic kind of guy, but do pick up some city sets no and then). But i have to admit, one of the big apealing factors of Megatrons set was the Mini Megatron and Shockwave!

The sucky part is that I bet some of these dudes who are selling the individual Kreons are probably returning the box sets to Walmart or whatever and getting refunded. Maybe putting a lego man in there.

Thing is, we're buying them 2nd hand at high prices. Someone in here said they're getting a starscream kreon for 15 bucks. That's half the price of the toy anyway. It's very lucrative to buy a toy for 30 dollars, take one little guy out return it and make 15 bucks.
Maybe some people are just into the kre-os. Not everyone likes mini-figures. Heck, people get all weird about revoltech "transformers that don't transform?". I'm sure that's the minority though.
