I just hope BBTS stocks them soon (if at all). I don't hunt, I only buy online so if they don't show up on the e-tailers I won't be getting one.

Love this guy, and really want him to round out my MP Seekers ... seeing this makes me cry though, because it's looking more and more like I'm either not getting one or I'm going to end up having to cave and go the eBay route. I REALLY wish they would've had better supply on this.

NO F^CKING SH!T. They're here in California too and the same crap is happening here. Secondary sellers/vendors are being allowed to buy out complete stock at every TRU I've checked (4 so far) and longtime collectors that are actually fans like us are getting screwed. I got screwed like this with Starscream, Grimlock, and Skywarp. It's so frustrating. I'm hoping TRU and Hasbro flood the market with them so the re-seller's get stuck with all the loads they're buying up. I know it won't happen though. They'd rather stock up on Bumblebee garbage than quality items. It's straight f^cking bullsh!t. :BOOM:  :BOOM: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD:

I know what you mean. I went to five for grimmy and none of them had him in stock.(couple of thise toysrus stores were two hours away).
Its complete bull..
and about starscream and skywarp. I found them quit easily.
My walmart even had like 6 skywarps all 30$ in the clearance aisle. And gots one

I hate scalpers as well. I've had too many items that needed to be purchased via Ebay due to them. Just remember that these have only been out for 2 weeks max. Grimlock and Rodimus were never a problem to find on shelves and Skywarp was on clearance when I found him. Toys R Us actually does a decent job stocking their exclusives.

While normally I agree that patience is key, I can understand some people's reasoning on panic this time. There's rumors coming from some TRU stores that this is a one time order, and that once sold out, that's it. Also, Roddy & Grimlock in some areas were nearly impossible to find. The stores here all got scalped heavily on the 2 shipments we got (3 stores in town) and I never saw them on the shelf. Grimlock I got on their site, and Roddy a friend helped me pick up luckily. Plus there's rumors that Thundecracker isn't going to be on the TRU site at all, it's in store only. So with all of this, I can see why people are upset and panicing (hell I'm getting worried I may not get this guy either).

I see what you mean. Ratchet "said" that we have caught the "Scalper Hater" Syndrome. It makes us feel too upset that toys like DOTM Leader Sentinel, Prime Vehicons and maybe Airachnid are so hard to find unlike the pathetic excuse of a "kid's character", Bumblebee (the link is: tfwiki.net/wiki/Ruined_FOREVER). Hasblow, you should get your ears pulled by Takara.

For those that live in NYC and is still looking for this, the Toys R Us in Time Square have them in stock. When I left there tonight 9/3/2012 they still have about 5 of them on the shelves. And they seem to be running some kind of deal/discount because mine only came to about $64.00 after tax. Good luck!

Thanks for this tip! Right after I saw this post, I called in and had them put 2 on hold for me. Good thing they did - all the staff made a point about how I lucky I was, because within 5 minutes of them putting my holds aside, the 4 or 5 remaining Thundercrackers were gone.

Gone!

Had to pay the full 69.99 for each, but who gives a crap? Today was a total victory for me.

MN is almost dry as well, maplewood TRU (which is actually a really nice store, I was shocked) supposedly had 3 (case order is only 4?!?!) but they weren't on the floor, and the guy on the phone sounded reluctant to hold it for me (I was there in 20 min to pick it up, considering I live 40min away I might have broken a few laws...of physics).

Guy there said they had 3 left in inventory, but none on the floor 'his exact quote was...that seems strange, I wonder if they're still in the back...'

they got them yesterday afternoon apparently.

I went to a ToysRus last night, and the guest services lady was able to search the next incoming order invoice for the truck which arrived today. She told me there would be 4 on this truck and probably more on the next. 3 people waiting when store opened but we all got 1 (i got two, 1 for display and one to open). But definitely call the store or speak with the guest service booth, they can tell whether or not they will be getting any in stock within a 3-4 day period. Hope this helps yall in your hunting. Good luck. :D

At the Times Sq location in NY, there were a bunch, counted at least 11. They were placed in a higher shelf section (prob to deter little kids from destroying the boxes). Last week, there were 2 full shelves of them. They've made a practice of removing MP from shelves during weekends. Best time to get is Mon-Tues as the store restocks right after their morning employee huddle. Hopefully you guys can get them like I did. Limit 1/person/day so I had to go through multiple trips on multiple days (needed bot and alt version for display and some for friends). Managed to snag 4 and even after that see pic below. Good luck all!

*Update* Second time posting and don't know how to include picture attachment. If someone can show me that would be great. Thanks!

Yah, even though I did buy two, they should put a limit of 1 per person just so people (collecters) get an equal chance of getting one. There's 50 or more listed on ebay right now. This one is the first masterpiece exclusive toy I've actually got. Missed out on the Hot Rod/Rodimus and Grimlock when they came out.

Most stores have started limiting them to 1 per person. I got mine a few days ago. I called as soon as the store was open to check on stock. I was told they did have them in but could only hold one and only for an hour. When I got down there, I inquired about picking up a second one (none were on the shelf) and the manager told me that they were being told by the District Manager that this was now required to be a 1 per person item because of heavy scalping issues. He also mentioned that this had come down from coorporate and the manufacturer. Now that could be a misundering of information through the chain of command, but if true, bravo to TRU & to Hasbro! I checked with the other 2 stores in town and they confirmed 1 per person was being put into place by the higher ups.

Another interesting bit of news is that all the stores here in town are not putting them on the shelves. They're keeping them all at the customer service desk and are being handed out only by the manager. This makes it a lot harder to buy one, and come back to pick up a second one from another cashier.
