Ramjet trod along the trashed area of the Ultrax Corridors, Astrotrain following closely. Their destination was the Bounce Chamber, and beyond that, the road to success. This was only the first step of many, but each was just as important as the last, and thus, each will be as important as the first step, which was this very raid. If everything goes well, Ramjet would become powerful, and scarily so. If Blitzwing was at his location, and thus the dam being broken their opper-

Something caught the conehead's piercing red optics; Astrotrain had just stopped dead in his tracks. He didn't do that often, and most of the time it was due to a shocking matter. What could have taken the Triplechanger off guard like that? Ramjet glanced to Waspinator, who had also stopped in his tracks, much like a lemming would when its herd stops.

"Good! I'm glad to have you aboard." Ramjet said, turning his head.

Waiting for the Triple, Ramjet decided to take the intelligent course of action and not to take any action upon the shuttle's odd behavior. They had other matters to attend to. Turning a corner, they reached their destination, the Bounce Chamber.

It was empty, obviously, as Blitzwing had already went ahead and bounced off to his mission. With any luck, they woul- Wait a minute. Ramjet had a hunch that the shock to Astrotrain had to have something to do with Blitzwing. Was he under attack already? Had he even reached his destination? Striding forward, Ramjet pretended to set the destination on the panel, when in reality, he was checking the logs. It was a fact the moment he gazed upon the words; Blitzwing had accidentally been bounced to the Thanatos. But how...?

In the logs, the last jump was set to the Thanatos. The moron probably hit "Last Jump" or something like that by mistake. Of course, that begged the question... Who bounced there from the Thanatos, if anyone? Or was it just from when the Decepticons bounced there from before? Either way, he couldn't leave it in the decididly uncapable hands of the Vehicons with an intruder, especially since they wouldn't recognize his athority. He would have to stay behind, himself.

Either way, this was getting off to a rocky start. They didn't have their diversion, which guarunteed an Autobot intrusion if they were spotted. Thus, they weren't going to have as many Transformers there if they wanted to remain hidden. It would have to be a quick thing, an unnoticable one too. Perhaps...? Yes... That would work.

Suddenly, a transmission from Long Haul caught him by surprise. But it was a good surprise. Things were progressing faster than he once thought that they would. Good. An even better reason to stay behind, especially to search for the one -- if any -- who came from the Thanatos.

Ramjet opened a link to the dump truck, >>Message recieved, Long Haul, I'll have you here in a moment.<<

And with that, he closed the link.

"Waspinator!" Ramjet barked.

The insecticon jumped out of being startled, then turned to face the conehead with a twinge of fear.

"Yezz, Ram-Bot?" Waspinator replied, putting on the best grin he could with his rather... Hideous face.

"You will go in my stead on the mission with Octane and Astrotrain. You will transform into your small wasp mode and disrupt their communications and camera feeds and Oil Flow controls. Then, when that is done, the rest of you will siphon as much feul as you can from the pipe below the surface. I have business to attend to here, and I don't think I have to go to Hoover Dam, anyway. Tell Blitzwing that he'd better recruit as many people as he can up there, and report back to me as soon as possible." Ramjet typed in the coordinates on the Bounce Pad and stepped back.

"Astrotrain, try not to keep information from me in the future. If any of you have a problem, come to me first. This early in the stages of our new movement, utter transparency has to be achieved." Ramjet said as he passed the shuttle by, only stopping to turn to face the group when he made it to the center of the room.

"Good luck, Decepticons." Ramjet said, emphasizing the passion in the last word spoken.

This was going to be good.

Krunix walked into the room, a small stack of datapads tucked under one arm while he looked down at the patapad in his hand. He'd been putting together a proposal for rapidly moving troops between large staging areas, and how to do so with the least amount of energy expended. Life on the Ultrax left Kruniz with little to do other than compile resource allocation recommendations and possible Infiltration operations...

He almost bumped into Ramjet, who stood in the middle of the staging area as Astrotrain disembarked. Great. He'd just got done with a test jump and optimized console settings, and now he'd almost cerntainly have to reset the whole thing. Krunix did the best to keep the dour out of his voice as he addressed the white Seeker, "I didn't know there was an operation scheduled currently. Are we in an emergency situation, or...?"

Well, that didn't quite go as he had planned, but Ramjet hadn't completely flipped a switch over what Blitzwing had done, so maybe this whole operation was salvageable after all. With Blitzwing out of the way and unable to fly off the handle at the Hoover Dam, Ramjet seemed to come to some sense about that part of his plan and took it out. Good. That was the part that Astrotrain was certain would get them all locked up in the brig, if not outright executed for glitching up infiltration protocols, anyway.

So, while Ramjet did his thing, Astrotrain had started accessing human databases and examining offshore drilling operations. He wasn't a number or data cruncher like Shockwave or Soundwave, but it wasn't all that difficult to access crew manifests, storage capacities and other hard data they would need before going in.

"Yeah, yeah, got it Rams. Transparent. Anything you say. I think I found just the place. There's a lot of these fleshbag contraptions out in what they call the 'Gulf of Mexico' but here's a good one. Tiber. It's a ways away from any of the others. We should be able to get in and out and take care of the witnesses."

He then looked over at Octane.

"Well. Off we go, I guess," he said shrugging, before hitting the bounce commands and vanishing, en route to his next destination.
___

((OOC-Gonna take Thundercracker for an NPC test drive, see if he sticks. If nothing else, give him some follow-up to what happened on the Thanatos))

The blinding white buzz had flashed and faded. The brief sense of disorientation lasted for barely a klik. He was a flyer. He was a Seeker. The air held no queasiness for him, even if he was traveling through particle subspace.

So, Starscream hadn't been lying when he'd said something about having control of this ship. It was the Stunticons' scow, but it was something. Anything to get him off the Thanatos was workable in Thundercracker's mind right now.

As far as he was concerned, the battle had taken a turn for the worse way too quickly. And then the carnage. Well, no, he'd seen carnage. He didn't care about that. The waste. That was it. Such Primus-forsaken waste of weapons, energy, mechpower, resources, ships. All of it. Used not in the pursuit of bringing them any closer to ending this war but wasted in the pursuit of one powerful 'Con or another trying to fill the massive void left by Megatron. Thundercracker wasn't going to waste his energy--and certainly not his life--for that crap. He'd got out of that hangar at the first available opportunity. And given the massive melee that had been going down when he left, it hadn't been that hard either. He'd regroup down here and if Starscream somehow managed to survive maybe he could assist from this vantage point but he wasn't going to bend over backwards trying.

And what should he find staring at him when he first steps foot on the Stunticon wreck? Ramjet. Maybe not the first Decepticon he wanted to run into, but he could do a lot worse. He was a fellow Seeker at least.

"Didn't figure I'd run into you down here," Thundercracker said, his voice sullen, as he stepped off the bounce pad. "Figured you'd be up there, duking it out with the rest of them."

Seeing his attempts to at least moderately influence Ramjet towards a more desirable outlook on their current situation had failed, Octane leaned against the wall and crossed his arms over his chestplate.

And let the debate between Astrotrain and the cone-head seeker go wherever it might end up. It was clear to Octane he’d have little say in the matter and persuading Ramjet of anything didn’t seem a viable option. He was just too full of himself.

No way the slagger’s getting any of my fuel, Octane thought.

Blitzwing called in. Something had gone wrong with the bounce trip. Great. Just great. Haven’t even started and it already goes slag.

There might have been a slight chance Astrotrain and Octane could follow their triplchanger buddy and at least get off this miserable wreck and garbage of a planet but their self-proclaimed leader shut that off quickly.

"Well. Off we go, I guess," Astrotrain shot him a glance as he was digging up information for the assignment with a measure of surrender to his posture.

‘Right with ya,’ Octane replied without any fuss and went to join him in disappearing in a flash of light and sizzle of air displacement.

Let Ramjet play his game for now.

Ramjet knew he was destined to lead. He knew he was far better suited to lead than Starscream, Shockwave, Razorclaw, or any other Decepticon Warlord out there. Perhaps even Megatron, but that had been yet to be seen. Quite frankly, however, he didn't want to find out the hard and most likely painful way. Thankfully, now that Megatron was dead, he could merely look at the numbers and decide for himself who would win. He knew he had to lead to preserve the natural glory of the Decepticons, and he couldn't afford to let Starscream tarnish that golden, shining light in the pale darkness of the universe with his treacherous, foolish and easily manipulated ways.

A flash of light from the bounce pad signaled the departure of his raiding party, just as the thumps of footsteps off to his left signaled the approach of a newcomer. Due to process of elimination and the hint of sourness emanating from him, this was most likely the one who caused Blitzwing to teleport up to the Thanatos by accident or by planned event. As Krunix spoke, the black, white and red seeker's mind raced on what to do. He couldn't just outright preach to him right there and hope that he was on board with Ramjet's plan. He couldn't hope to have that; I mean, it wasn't like they were "best buddies", after all.

"Ah, something like that, yeah. Listen, Krunix, I've got some important work to do. Could you do me a favor and meet me in a few Earth-Minutes in the Med Bay? I'll give you a briefing on just what's going on when I get there." Ramjet said with a genuine smile. He had run over the roster a few times and he knew the specialty of Krunix; in fact he was certain that he could be vital to the early success of his movement.

Before he could move to the bounce panel to get a lock on Long Haul's signal, a flash of light caught him off guard. Standing at the center of the bounce pad and without a hint of bounce daze was none other than Thundercracker. Ramjet knew 'Cracker and he was friends with him, so it wouldn't be hard -- or actually, it might be even more difficult because of that fact -- to bring the Air Warrior over to his side. But that would have to wait for a bit. It seemed Thundercracker was just as shocked as Ramjet was to see the other Seeker there as the blue Seeker stepped off the platform and began to ask him what he was doing there. Which was odd, meaning that there was a reason for Thundercracker to be there other than a simple visit. At least Ramjet was prepared for this much in the case of Krunix asking him what was going on.

"Hey, TC! Funny seeing you here!" Ramjet began, leaning against the console for support and to hide the next location in the bounce que, "What do you mean 'Duking it out with the rest of them'? Somethin' the matter? Listen, I actually have a lot on my plate right now; could you do me a favor and meet me in the Recreational Bay in a few Earth-Minutes? I'll be right in so we can talk about what's going on over a cold one."

Turning to face the console, keeping the blue seeker who was no doubt sent by a superior -- most likely Starscream -- to scout the wreck in his peripheral vision, the white and red conehead pounded a few keys on the console deftly. Keeping a thorough optic on the air warrior without revealing that the ambitious conehead was watching him, a silent resolution was made: Ramjet wasn't going to let the treacherous air commander get his slimy hands on the Ultrax.

Thundercracker actually looked up from the floor and over in Ramjet's direction as he asked his question. Were the 'Cons that were down here on this mudball really that disconnected from what was going on up in the orbital reaches of this planet? A power-play this big hadn't taken place since...since...slag, the earliest days of the forming of the Decepticons when warlords and tyrants were still dumb enough to try and test Megatron's mettle while the gladiator of Tarn was still solidifying his power base. Thundercracker remembered those days only too well. He didn't want to repeat them, especially without Megatron to bring things under heel.

"A little more than 'something'. Everything, actually," Thundercracker said before accepting Ramjet's suggested meeting place with a shrug. "Yeah, sure. Whatever."

Ramjet had energon here. Enough that he was willing to share some of it. That was a good start. Thundercracker felt like he'd been running on borderline empty for way too long.

Saying nothing more, the blue-and-black Seeker stalked out of the bounce chamber, en route to the rec area of the ship.

Krunix nodded a little as Ramjet spoke. While he wasn't in the mood to hear some other scheme...the commanding conehead hadn't seemed to be in the habit recently of doing anything stupid or underhanded. Giving a small salute, Krunix turned to leave and headed for the door. He held the door for Thundercracker, giving the blue Seeker a small nod and smile as he passed. He'd always liked the no-nonsense, well-adjusted flyer in their few interactions, and took the oppurtunity to talk to him as they both moved down the hallway.

"Good to see you again, sir." he said to the senior, ranking Con, "What's going on Orbit-Side? The Ultrax isn't exactly a beacon of intelligence..."

Thundercracker offered a slight not at Krunix in return as he stepped out in the one of the primary corridors connecting the inner rooms and divisions of the downed Stunticon vessel. He accessed a wall panel and brought up a map, locating the rec area that Ramjet had mentioned. As far as Thundercracker was concerned, the entire ship was a wreck, so it would be hard to isolate just what exactly the white and black conehead had in mind. Even so, he found it pretty quickly, detached himself and walked on, even as Krunix seemed to keep pace.

Thundercracker looked over at the mech as he asked about what was going on up in orbit and citing the lack of actionable intelligence down here.

"Heh. I'd believe it. Guess that's why I'm not surprised Ramjet didn't know either. Shockwave put Starscream on trial, and it pretty much devolved right there into a battle royale for leadership of the Decepticons. I'd be amazed if the Thanatos doesn't explode from all the high-powered, over-energized Decepticons tearing each other apart up there."

Krunix balked slightly at the situation Thundercraker described, rubbing his chin as his visor flashed known information about the Thanatos, Starscream, and Shockwave across his optics.

"It figures," he grumbled to the Seeker, "We cannot go more than a hepta-cycle without a pointless power struggle...Megatron had his faults, but any alternative is...less than ideal."

He turned off his visor; none of the data on the likely outcomes or projected energy expenditure was heartening, "Nothing against your commander, sir, but of the two Shockwave is the best...well, the best current option."

Ramjet felt a genuine smile come over his face when Thundercracker and Krunix both complied and left to their corresponding rooms. It would be much easier to let Long Haul onto the ship when he was alone, and thus easier to explain why a Constructicon was surveying the area once they were already a part of his new order. Waiting until their footsteps and conversational chatter disappeared into the dimly lit depths of the hallways, Ramjet turned and pounded out his command for Long Haul's Bounce.

>>I have locked onto your location, Long Haul. Prepare for Bounce.<< the conehead said over the comm link with the hauler.

Waiting a few moments so the Constructicon could make any last minute preparations, Ramjet pressed the key for the execution of the command. The Bounce pad hummed to life, and in a bright flash, Long Haul appeared before him. Wet. With water. Ugh. One of the many reasons he hated Earth.

Either way, the Constructicon was on the Ultrax now, and now they could begin their restoration -- and perhaps even upgrades -- to the ships systems.

"Hey, Long Haul!" Ramjet greeted him with an affable stance and open arms, "You look wet!"

The last remark was ended in a humorous chuckle. He knew the Constructicon didn't like him, and quite frankly, he didn't care. He just wanted to look good on camera.

In a brilliant flash of light Long Haul appeared on the Ultrax or what was left of it anyway. Feeling slightly disoriented from the bounce, even though it was only a short distance from the location of the partially built undersea base, the Constructicon transporter took a few tentative steps forward before his head started to clear. Of course, the loud and annoying sound of Ramjet’s voice immediately greeted him. It almost made the heavy lifter prefer the dizzying effects of the bounce beam. Almost.

“Hey, Ramjet,” Long Haul replied stoically as salt water and muck dripped off of his soaked, mechanical form. “So, what the frag took so long? I thought for an astrosecond that you had forgotten about me out there.” The transport’s question was a viable one but he doubted he would get a real or honest answer out of the conniving conehead. In all likelihood Ramjet was up to something and would be less than forthcoming regarding what he was really doing while the Constructicon was waiting in the darkness of the sea. Instead, he simply moved on to the task at hand.

“Well, like I said over the comm line, Scrapper wants me to survey the damage to the frigate here and figure out what exactly needs to be done to fix it,” Long Haul began as he took a moment and gazed around the chamber, which seemed very dirty and littered with debris of all kinds. “Although, from what I’ve heard, this ship might have always looked this bad. It could be hard to tell what’s considered normal by the Stunticons’ standards and what’s not. I mean they didn’t exactly take care of this ship now did they? Heh.”

The heavy lifter then pulled out a datapad and looked Ramjet directly in the optics. “So, are you gonna show me around or are you too busy with whatever it is that your plotting? I’m sure I can find my own way if I must.” It might actually go a lot faster if I was on my own, anyway.

Thundercracker grumbled something of an agreement with Krunix’s initial assessment. With Megatron not around to keep his lieutenants’ ambitions in check, it was entirely possible that this would be the new state of existence for the Decepticons: an ongoing string of civil strife and power-plays until they ultimately collapsed on themselves like some sort of imploding neutron star. The more that Thundercracker thought about that possibility, the more he realized that the current state of the Decepticon empire could well force him to need to reconsider his part in this war machine. Though not as bloodthirsty as a number of other Decepticons, Thundercracker subscribed to Megatron’s philosophy of “Peace through Tyranny”. He didn’t carry a copy of the manifest around in his datatracks like some slag-lickers did, but he believed in it just the same. He believed it would work if they could just win this damned endless war they had been fighting. But they hadn’t. And now here they were reaping the windfall of everything Megatron had built—without Megatron’s powerful presence in place to keep it all in check. Thundercracker would be damned if he was going to sacrifice himself to one of Megatron’s ego-driven commanders. Well, most of them. For one of them, he still might.

“Shockwave eh? You think so?” Thundercracker said, not really challenging the other Decepticon’s opinion, just mildly curious. Who knew? Shockwave might well have an executable strategy that could finally capitalize on all the work they’d done and bring this war to an end, but Thundercracker had no faith in the purple cyclops’ ability to convince others to follow him. And thus the one Decepticon that remained who could possibly motivate Thundercracker to continue on the path he’d been on for countless ages now would come as no surprise to anyone, given that he was a Seeker as well: Starscream, the Seeker Commander himself, naturally.

“Heh. No worries. Starscream’s track record speaks for itself, but…” Thundercracker trailed off, shrugging his shoulders. “I don’t know. I guess it’s out of our hands now anyway. Even if they all wreck each other beyond recognition up there, one of them will be the last to climb on top of the slagheap and declare himself leader. Then…maybe…we actually get back to fighting the ones were really at war with.”

Thundercracker’s gait slowed as he approached the rec room that Ramjet had told him about and that the blue Seeker had tracked down on the ship’s computer systems. He hit an access button as he approached the double doors and stepped inside as they slid out of their way.

Krunix stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame to keep the door from sliding shut behind Thundercracker. He sighed when the blue seeker outlined the most likely scenario: a long and pointless power struggle with the least-dead powermonger declared the winner, "...it's probably only going to get worse. I know it's ridiculous, but it still feels like Megatron's going to come smashing in and fix this all any cycle..."

Krunix looked down the hallway to where the pair had just come from, and turned back to Thundercracker. He jerked his head in the direction of the Bounce Chamber for emphasis, "Ramjet's on of Starscream's Squad. Any idea what he has on his mind? I'm used to him droning on like a Polyhex PleasureProgram Salesman, but he's being more...animated...than he usually is..."

“Heh, I wouldn’t hold your surges…but you never know. Not like it’s the first time everybody thought Megatron was dead.”

Stepping inside, Thundercracker took a short klik to familiarize himself with his new surroundings. This was where Ramjet had asked him to wait and the blue and black Seeker had nothing better to do at the moment, so he didn’t mind indulging the conehead. Walking over to one of the berths, Thundercracker cleared it of its current clutter by simply forcing both arms across and dumping the assorted Stunticon scrap on the floor. He then climbed inside, stretched out a little and waited, chuckling a little at Krunix's mention of the Polyhex Pleasure-whatever-they-were.

“Heh heh. Yeah, I was kinda surprised to find him here. I mean, it’s no secret that he thinks he’s leader material. Being up on the Thanatos would’ve been his golden opportunity to claim the top spot. He must be trying to actually play it slick instead of ramming himself right into the thick of things. I didn’t even figure he had any other setting.

"I mean we all have to listen to him drone on about what a good leader he’d be, but he always shuts up when Megatron came anywhere near. I don’t think even Starscream took him seriously, and he’s as paranoid as it gets.”

Thundercracker reached out, stretching his arm and leg joints before getting comfortable again.

“We’ve probably unwittingly enlisted ourselves as unofficial members of Ramjet’s army just by being on the same ship as him.”

"Maker protect us if we are counted amongst Ramjet's number..." Krunix couldn't keep himself from saying it, but wouldn't have bothered stopping himself anyhow. Maybe the White Seeker had something actually meritorious to bring to the table...but why command two Cons he wanted to talk to about the same thing to different areas, as Ramjet had...?

"You mind if I wait with you? I haven't gone by the MedBay in this MegaCycle, and I don't plan on breaking my streak..." Krunix didn't bother telling Thundercracker it was more out of self-preservation than pride, but he'd be sure to mention that if the senior Seeker had any reason for medical attention. "Just as a heads up; if you're looking to recharge while you wait, the Stunticons only left one port operational..." Krunix pointed at a fairly pristine energy connector attached to the wall, almost entirely surrounded by wrecked and charred connectors.

"Heh. Right?," Thundercracker scoffed at his own idea of Ramjet thinking that just by coming down here he was also simultaneously offering his allegiance. He didn't know what the white and black Seeker had in mind, but he wasn't opposed to at least hearing him out while he got away from the insanity going down inside the Thanatos. If nothing else, it would be him a solid chunk of breems before being called off to some other assignment. He figured this kind of counted as shore leave.

"You mind if I wait with you? I haven't gone by the MedBay in this MegaCycle, and I don't plan on breaking my streak...just as a heads up; if you're looking to recharge while you wait, the Stunticons only left one port operational..."

"Knock yourself out," Thundercracker said, leaning back against the berth that he had found for himself. He looked over as the Decepticon showed him what looked like the only functional recharge post in this junkheap.

"Pfeh. Figures. Probably Motormaster's. The other nuts probably have to fight over it. I swear....this place is a heap. But it might actually be more salvageable than the Thanatos after all this is over. Preds won't be too happy about that."

Thundercracker returned his gaze to the ceiling.

"I'm good though. I didn't spend too much energy up in that brawl. Starscream's odds weren't looking too good. But I'll be in better shape for whenever he comes up with a better plan. 'Cause unless they kill him, he's gonna come up with one. What about you? I haven't seen you around here. You just get brought back online or somethin'?"

Krunix nodded to Thundercracker , sitting across from the berth the larger seeker had found, "I have never known the Predacons to be happy about anything that didn't end in carcasses and wasted operational resources." When he asked about Krunix's origin, the smaller land-based Con sighed, "Something like that. I was on one of the Outer Reach Infiltration Battalions' before...well..." The Infiltration Protocols, in Krunix's estimation, was one of the best plans the Decepticon leader had ever put into motion. Krunix had been on the Outer Reaches of the Decepticon front, before Prime had started his little counter offensive and Megatron had begun recalling the outermost lines to try and smash the Autobots once and for all. Everyone knew how well that had gone, "I was in cold storage on another transport to conserve Energon; turns out it was shot down and I was one of the pods the Ultrax picked up." Having to share a ship with the Stunticons, however, almost made Krunix pine for the cold dreamless black of the pod he'd been adrift in...

Long Haul had been waiting patiently for Ramjet to finish whatever it was he was currently doing or planning when the transporter received a Priority-2 message from the Thanatos ordering all of the Constructicons to drop what they were working on and return to the Predacon warship immediately. Apparently, the Thanatos had sustained serious damage somehow and needed prompt repair work. That was fine as far as Long Haul was concerned. He wasn’t particularly looking forward to being guiding around the Stunticon junk heap anyway, especially by the white conehead with a leadership complex bigger than Metroplex’s foot.

“Well, Ramjet, it looks like this is goodbye,” Long Haul stated once his comm line fell silent. “I’ve been recalled to the Thanatos. I guess I’ll have to take a raincheck on that tour. Maybe another...” The heavy lifter’s statement was cut short when the bright light of another bounce beam suddenly engulfed him, leaving nothing but empty space behind in his place.

Hearing that Krunix had been relegated to the outer confines of the war had not been all that surprising. This war had probably spread to nearly every corner of the known universe at this point. There were bound to be Decepticon loyalists serving on any number of fronts.

"Yeah, well, welcome to the big leagues. In this sector, we're under Megatron. Well...we were. But still. The battles here ripple throughout the rest of the empire."

And what a frightening though that was sometimes.

Though he had left the confines of the Thanatos, Thundercracker still kept himself linked up to the communications feed for when an announcement finally came through that someone had finally ended the insanity aboard the ship. When it came through, he was a little disappointed to hear that it wasn't Starscream, but he was glad that it had come through all the same. Maybe they'd finally be able to start getting their act together and focus on who the real enemies were.

"You should probably hear this too, in case it's important," Thundercracker said as he turned the audio levels up on his comm.

>>”Attention, all Decepticons! This is Razorclaw, your new supreme leader. I want everyone not currently in stasis lock to get whatever repairs are needed and ready yourselves for battle within three breems. We are taking the fight to the Fallen and his heralds. They have dared to attack us on board our own ship and we will respond accordingly. Constructicons, you will remain here on the Thanatos in order to fix the engines and primary generators. I want this warship back up and running ASAP. Divebomb, provide me with a status update on Headstrong’s condition. Everyone else who is conscious will be expected to take part in the coming battle. Razorclaw out."<<

Thundercracker sat up in his bunk, not even fully sure if he heard what he had just heard correctly. The slag had truly hit the smelter this time.

"We gotta go," Thundercracker said, practically jumping back to his feet and heading out of the rec room and back towards the Ultrax's bounce chamber.

Now, at least, there was a true enemy to fight.

Krunix had been fishing out an Energon stick from one of his storage packs when the call came through. His visor hummed back to life, giving him all data he had access to on Razorclaw. The Predacon Sub-Commander was not who he was expecting to hear utter the phrase 'Supreme Commander', but it was not a wholly unpleasant surprise; Razorclaw shared some of the savagry of his subordinates but also seemed shrewd and realistic with his goals. Maybe this was the best outcome for the interim.

Watching Thundercracker rise, Krunix gave him a small salute and fell in behind the Seeker as they made their way to the Rec Room. While he was far from bloodthirsty, Krunix had to admit that is was good to hear there was a battle underway that didn't involve undermining the overall cause of the Decepticons.

Bounce Chamber

When Thundercracker had arrived at the bounce chamber with Krunix not far behind him, he was somewhat surprised to find Ramjet still there. He didn’t know what it was that held the black and white Seeker’s attention so readily—probably his own paranoia and scheming—but whatever it was, apparently he could accomplish it here just as well as he could on the Ultrax’s bridge. There probably wasn’t much difference between one part of this Stunticon scow and any other.

“Duty calls. I’m sure you heard. Battle time,” Thundercracker said as he plugged the Thanatos’ frequency back into the bounce chamber controls and stepped onto the pad. “See you there. Or not.”

And then he was gone in a flash of white energy.

Pacific Ocean

The skies above the Kurile Trench were crystal blue with nary a cloud in the sky. No air traffic. No sea traffic. This particular swath of ocean was for all intents and purposes abandoned. It was why Astrotrain had chosen this specific location to breach.

"Brace for impact," Astrotrain's voice echoed throughout the crew cabin.

Dropping almost like a stone from the skies above, the triple-changer pulled up seemingly at the last astrosecond, skimming the water before ultimately sinking and beginning his undersea trek towards the Ultrax.

Astrotrain's cargo hold

The journey from the Thanatos to Kurile Trench had been an uneventful one. Astrotrain was a professional and knew his line of work, requiring no instructions. Something the leader of the Stunticons could respect. As for the others, Motormaster had decided to turn it into a yet another extremely uncomfortable exercise of silence mostly because he was still itching to beat the scrap out of Wildrider for his earlier antics. The threat of violence looming over everyone had kept them silent since Motormaster had told Wildrider to shut up and had proceeded to slam Breakdown's face into Astrotrain's hull to emphasize his point.

That however was about to come to an end. As Astrotrain dove into the ocean below, causing his hull to shake violently, Motormaster merely held on as if nothing had happened. All the while staring at both Drag Strip and Wildrider with utter contempt.

”You two slaggers cause me more trouble during a one fraggin' deca-cycle than your brothers manage to combine for thorough a damned Quartex,” Motormaster spat out as he stood up and cracked his head from side to side to loosen up his neck joints. ”Mess this up and I will have Astrotrain drop you both off to the Moon where you will have to survive for the next mega-cycle with whatever energon you manage to beg out of Octane here.”

It was a statement of a fact which was not going to make the Stunticon tyrant to request an acknowledgement from his troops. This was a simple mission. Were they to mess it up, they would suffer.

”Park next to the Ultrax's airlock A-train. You're going to stay in this form unless something unexpected requires otherwise,” Motormaster instructed their transport before turning his attention towards his own Stunticons again.

”Breakdown, Dead End – you are going to go in first and do an initial sweep over possible threats.” As if there were any threats to count for aside all the trash littered across Ultrax's floors but making that nervous wreck to take the lead while forcing the most enthusiastic ones in the team to stay back would amuse him greatly.

”And Knock-Out. You do your thing and do it fast. You won't like the alternative. Just saying.”
