Breakdown let out a deep growl as Wildrider took a hold of the energon cube the scout had been drinking. What was it the terrorist had against him he did not know, and at this point he could care less.

Wildrider chugged the remaining fluid from the cube and then threw it toward Dead End. The crimson warrior had always been the one to actually stand up for the paranoid Breakdown. It was something Wildrider never understood, but when Dead End tried to spoil his fun, that was something he could not ignore.

"Shut your pie hole, loser! You just remember, when I see something I want I take it. Even if it's in someone else's hands!"

From his position directly in front Breakdown, Wildrider took a threatening lunge forward causing the scout to cringe away.

"HAHAHAHA! Moron!"

Breakdown had taken a few steps away from the terrorist just as Drag Strip reminded them that there was still work that needed to be done. Letting out a heavy sigh, Breakdown decided getting in to a fight with his lunatic teammate would not be the brightest idea. Especially with so much combustible material.

Nodding in agreement the white and blue Lamborghini took one of the available hover carts and began to load it up with as many cubes as it could carry.

Wildrider had decided to take his time in retrieving his own cart. Instead he crossed his arms over his chest and cast a glaring gaze at Drag Strip.

"Who the slag terminated Motormaster and gave you the cast iron ball bearings to give us orders?!"

Even as she moved past Skywarp, Nightraven’s interest in just what the teleporter was spying had increased. The femme Seeker could hear the voices within, but she was having a difficult time making out just what was being said. The black and purple femme had just reached the perforated bridge door when Skywarp took hold of her forearm and gently tugged to pull her back away from it.

She turned her head just enough to look over her shoulder and focused on the mech now holding her arm. Unwilling to press any further, Nightraven stepped back until she was nearly pressed against Skywarp’s chest. Her optics moved back to the door as she listened to the remainder of the teleporter’s explanation of just what the Predacons and Starscream were up to.

Nightraven shook her head slightly when Skywarp mentioned there was a chance that a fight might breakout. In a hushed tone the femme addressed the other Seeker.

“This is insane. If they start a fight on the bridge they’re liable to destroy half this ship. And take a majority of us with it.”

Nightraven reached a hand back and took a hold of Skywarp’s wrist. She gave a light tug and a slight shake before she looked over her shoulder.

“What I can do is slip in there to assess the situation. I can utilize my ability to get in unseen. If things escalate in to a full out brawl, I might be able to stop it before those two go too far.”

She flashed him a weak smile before she released his wrist and began to move back to the breach in the door. She let out a heavy sigh as she began to head in to the bridge, her cloak coming on line before she stepped past the threshold.

This was how it was supposed to be handled. Megatron had forged the Decepticons through combat and through combat his successor had to be chosen. That was the ideal scenario. However, the devious smirk on Motormaster's face told the tale. He didn't really care whether he followed Razorclaw or Starscream. What he did care for was to get all the possible entertainment out of the two most high ranking Decepticons in the star system. He was also going to make sure whoever wanted to lead, had to earn it.

The locale for this battle could have been better though. Then again, it was not like there was much room elsewhere in the ship for the two Decepticons to duke it out though. At least Motormaster himself along with the rest of the Predacons and seemingly Thrust as well, had formed a circle around the two combatants. If nothing else, it did make it more difficult for a stray blast to hit any critical instruments of the bridge. Thrust and Rampage were clearly eyeing each other, preparing to act out to assist their respective superiors if it was called for. Headstrong, true to his nature was completely focused on the battle before him. Tantrum seemed to be as well but Motormaster caught the Predacon fueler surveing his surroundings more than once, eager to attack if anyone gave him a reason. And Divebomb? Motormaster didn't even have glance at the Predacon air warrior to know his keen optics were observing everyone in the bridge.

A battle in such of a confined space heavily favored Razorclaw and his superior melee combat skills. Motormaster had himself sparred with the Predacon leader several times during his stay in the ranks of the Decepticons and the Predacon had been able to overcome the thuggish Stunticons way more often than Motormaster had been able to find a decisive edge. But even with Motormaster's knowledge of Razorclaw's martial prowess, Starscream could never be counted out. The seeker was a crafty warrior and at least as agile as the Predacon. And Motormaster knew from personal experience that those null rays of Starscream's could wear down even a bot as tough as he was. Starscream was nevertheless out of his element in a confined space like this and needed something to make this fight bit more fair.

And thus, Motormaster drew out his energon sword and kicked it into the middle of the circle formed by the Decepticons. Whether or not Starscream would take the chance and use the sword was his own decision but at least the seeker now had a chance to use a melee weapon against the sword wielding Razorclaw. Not that Motormaster had much faith in Starscream's ability to use such weapon to his advantage - he certainly had never seen it happen. That of course did not remove the possibility of the seeker commander actually possessing some training with melee weapons.

And so the first strikes had been made. Though Rampage's attention had been largely focused on Thrust, now that the combat was getting fired up, the Predacon's attention quickly turned to the main attraction.

This was a match up that he would have forked over a bunch of chits to see back in the gladiator days. And now here it was, barely an arm's reach away from him. Rampage couldn't be more satisfied. And the stakes? If Razorclaw sewed this up and put the whiny Seeker in his place, the mantle of Decepticon leadership would be as good as his. If Starscream won, the Predacons would be outcasts. They were heading down that road already. Now it was time to put it all on the table.

His optical focus was only momentarily distracted by Motormaster's indirect entry in to the battle--seemingly trying to provide Starscream with a weapon similar to the one that the Predacon Commander always carried with him. That came close to the line of interference, in Rampage's mind. Dangerously close.

Now he would be keeping a spare optic on both Thrust and Motormaster.

"Gut him, Razor. You own the blade," Rampage added to the occasional mutterings of the other Decepticons in the room as they took in this fight.

Hellion was pleasantly surprised to hear that Starscream and Razorclaw were likely going to fight it out for the right to lead. She could guess that Razorclaw had forced the issue or gave the challenge. Fights like this weren’t exactly Starscream’s forte. He surely saw himself as above such brutal ideas. He was more of a schemer and politician then true warrior. The seeker would never go for a fight if there was any chance he could talk or connive his way out of it.

That wasn’t to say she wanted Starscream to lose necessarily. While she wasn’t really fond of the head seeker, he was still a seeker. There was a bit of loyalty in that, especially since she assumed that the seekers would get some preferential treatment under his leadership. Razorclaw would likely give that same treatment to the Predacons instead of the seekers under his rule

Hellion would never been known as a deep thinker, but she did stop to ponder the two who were vying for leadership, considering whether she should step in on the side of either one. Ultimately it seemed appropriate that leadership would be decided by combat. Le their raw strength and skill determine who was fit to lead instead of her own, biased decision making.

When Nightraven moved to try and stop the fight Hellion grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled her back. “No, we can’t stop it. This is how things should be, a battle for leadership. If you interrupt it now there will only be another one in the near future, not to mention that the Predacons might just rip you to shreds. No, this is the only true and fair way to choose a new leader.” She began to push past Nightraven after offering her a quick smile, “but that doesn’t mean we have to miss the show.”

Slipstream left the bounce chamber after her brief and bizarre encounter with Ramjet. Maybe the landing on this planet had jarred loose some vital circuits in his head or something. No one in their right mind was going to follow the lunkhead seeker. Hopefully he would just be happy plotting his grandiose schemes and leaver her alone.

Alas, her wish was not to be as Slipstream received a signal from Ramjet. Apparently the would be leader was very anxious to get started. Letting out a sigh she replied to him in her standard tone of voice. >>”I will attempt my best to recruit those Decepticons Ramjet, but it make take some time to reach them. I’m not even sure where any of them are now.”<<

It seems Razorclaw has made his move as the fight has begun. Thrust made sure to have his weapons ready and strike the moment Razorclaw let his guard down. However, there was a certain predacon that was going to interfere and his name was Rampage. Thrust made sure to keep his optics out for him as he was keeping watch to make sure there would be no sneak attack. Focusing on Rampage and the battle, Thrust made a quick view on the situation.

Having Razorclaw challenged Starscream over the leadership was a bold move. Knowing that whoever won this battle, one side will be benefitted while the other treated like dirt or trash in his optics. For Razorclaw if he wins then the predacons would benefit through the decepticon ranks and he would have to answer to them. However, if Starscream wins then the seekers would benefit and Thrust would have a chance to be his second in command.

His optics looked upon Motormaster as he joined the battle by giving Starscream his sword. Motormaster seemed to be helping the seeker commander by leveling the plain field. This was perfect because Starscream would have a chance to defeat Razorclaw. This also means that Motormaster may be on the seekers side.

With a slight look, it seems that Rampage is eyeing on him and Motormaster which means that the moment he slips up, Thrust will make his move and attack Razorclaw from behind to distract him. Right now, he will enjoy the battle until the commander signals him for the sneak attack or when the time is right.

"Go commander Starscream, show him the power of the seekers!" Thrust shout out to cheer on his commander while the rest of the decepticons watch.

Waspinator felt the depression of rejection come over him. He had felt this sensation many times before. It was as if all his components were dropping from their usual positions to his feet. Waspinator looked at his weapon and tossed it against the wall, as if it was to blame for his countless times of being destroyed.

Waspinator began thinking on how his Insecticon Brothers were doing. Maybe he would send them a message soon. It would raise his spirits to know how his brothers were doing on Nebulos. Hopefully conquering the natives with no repercussions.

Oh how he wished he had someone who would just understand him. He felt so alone.

*****

Ramjet's Personal Quarters

Ramjet listened intently to what his love interest was saying. She really did not know where they were. Ramjet sighed. You would have thought she would have been keeping up with things.

>>They are here, Slipstream; Dirge, Thrust, Octane, Waspinator and the Battlechargers are here on the Ultrax. You might find Thrust on the bridge, Waspinator is probably sulking somewhere and Dirge might be in the Medical Bay for some reason. The Hanger might be where the Battlechargers are, unloading the cubes Octane got from their little distraction the Stunticons put on.<< Ramjet said, trying to hide his annoyance.

Ramjet paused for a moment, perhaps all was not lost on those who were on the Thantos... Maybe out on the Yellow Sea as well? He would need to convince the Combaticons and Scrapper first.

>>Slipstream. I will be en-route to the location with Scrapper and friends. Make sure to monitor my transmissions for any new orders.<< Ramjet said as he exited his quarters, datapad in hand as he made his way to the Hangar, thinking on what he was going to say to the Engineer and Strategist.

Hanger

Ramjet strode into the hanger, where the Stunticons and Battlechargers resided. They were all moving the Energon Cubes, and devouring some of them. Ramjet walked to Runabout and Runamuck and placed his hand on each of their shoulders.

"Ah! Energon. That is a fragrance that I will never forget. Perhaps we could discuss this," Ramjet' optics shot around the other occupants, keeping tabs on their locations, "In Private, where we are all on common ground."

Ramjet led them to a room where he formally closed the door behind them. It was a supply locker, but it was big enough to stand with about five others.

Ramjet leaned against the wall, smiling.

"Looks like I am not the only one who enjoys the taste of Energon. I am fine with this 'Borrowing', however I believe there would be another who wouldn't enjoy this as much. A big black trucker who runs this ship. Now, I know you want to keep out of his way as much as possible and I can understand. But some things need to be reported, and others do not. Which one is this? Well... Maybe we could help each other here. I can give you all you want, in time of course, but nevertheless, I can give you what you want. Higher rank, more Energon, revenge against a colleague," Ramjet smiled, "Anything that I can do with my power once all is said and done. All you have to do is fight for me. If not... Well. Lets just say that Motormaster will not be happy. Is that not a generous offer?"

"Are you in?" Ramjet held out his hand for the both of them to shake if they accept.

OoC: Thanks for the ruling, Cry.

The situation had been defused, though Dead End wasn't sure if it was to his satisfaction or not. Giving the insane (well, more insane in Dead End's view) Stunticon a physical taste of his own verbal brow beatings held some appeal for Dead End. The Stunticons in general didn't need a whole lot of provocation to get in to a scrap, even with each other. It was a lot of combustible egos with relatively short fuses in one or more areas. Having Motormaster around was usually the only thing that kept them in check.

Having this much energy lying around seemed to be helping too. It had been a long time since Dead End's internal power meters had read this high. He wasn't keen to start wasting it on idle brawling. None of the rest of them seemed to be either.

So, he began stacking sets of cubes neatly on his own cart, ignoring the arrival of the brutish, white-and-black Seeker. No need to get himself mixed up in whatever he might be cooking. Once he had a large, perfectly symmetrical pile of the glowing, pink goodness, he started to push it off towards the storage room.

"WHAT? Where did he go off to?" Hooligan yells.

Runabout and Runamuck continued to stack energon cubes onto their seperate carts, stacking them so that they could get the optimal amount of cubes on each gurney before making off to the storage bay along with the rest of the resident terrorists.

"You know Runabout..." Runamuck stated flatly "...you've been quiet for a few clicks now. Something on your mind?"

Runabout stacked the last cube on the gurney and turned to his errant twin.

"Why should I say anything? Especially to you?" The black battelcharger grumbled as he started to push the loaded cart out of the hangar with Runamuck in tow with his own cart "I mean...you've belittled me at every turn, even when you screw up I'm the one who gets my aft kicked!"

The black battlecharger pushed the cart out into the hallway of the Ultrax whilst he grumbled under his faceplate.

"...slaggin...frakkin...fraggin...would have better luck actually hanging with the damned stunticons on my own.."

Hearing Wildrider’s latest taunt, Drag Strip turned back and cast an annoyed look at the terrorist, a scowl forming on his faceplate. “Fine, do what you want ‘Rider! I’m only trying to get this task over and done with so Motormaster doesn’t slag us all because you were too busy getting drunk off the energon.” The yellow Stunticon then turned away and continued down the corridor, pushing the hover cart full of energon cubes as he went. Stupid slagger! Him and the others are gonna get me in trouble with the boss. Well, that’s not gonna happen while I’m down here. No way in the pit will I take the blame for their screw ups!

Storage Room

The doors to the storage facility opened, allowing Drag Strip to enter and push the hover cart to the far end of the chamber. He began unloading the energon cubes, piling them neatly in the corner. It took less than a breem to accomplish as he was the only one in the room and thus had no one there to bother or distract him. “It’s amazing what I can get done without any lesser mechs ‘helping’ me,” Drag muttered to himself quietly so that his voice would not carry far enough for anyone to hear him.

Once the cart was empty, Drag Strip turned it around and headed back out the door and into the hallway. It was there that he saw Dead End moving his own cart down the corridor towards him. “Hey, Dead. I’ve already started a pile in the far corner of the storage room. You can just put your cubes there if you want.” The former racer flashed his comrade a smile and spoke in a respectful tone as to not agitate him the way he had obviously done with Wildrider. It’s not that Drag cared for the doomsayer’s feelings, quite the contrary. He just wanted to make sure Dead End kept working at a diligent pace so the task got done quickly the way Motormaster wanted it.

Hangar Bay

Entering the hangar once more, Drag Strip ignored the still procrastinating terrorist and moved over towards the stockpile of energon cubes that still awaited to be moved and secured in the storage room. As he grabbed a new bundle of cubes, Drag now noticed the presence of Ramjet, who was trying to coral the Battlechargers into a side room with little success. He didn’t know what the conehead wanted and he didn’t care. Just as long as the white seeker kept the Stunticons out of his back room dealings and plans, there would be no problems.

“What’s Ramjet doing here?” Drag Strip whispered over to Breakdown who was loading cubes into a cart nearby. “That conehead is always up to something. Best to stay away from him for all our sakes. Motormaster would be none too pleased if we made any alliances with a mech like that.”

Dead End paused momentarily as Drag Strip explained what he had been doing. He felt that pang of doing something entirely opposite just to go against the grain. The Stunticons, as a unit, just seemed to attract those types. Dead End could do it with the best of them when he wanted to. Seeing Drag Strip's pile was pretty much what he was already going to do anyway, but now that it was already done...he just wanted to rebel.

But he didn't. He caved in to the idea of not making things more difficult than they were.

"Got it," he said, pushing his cart over beside the pile and began stacking his own cubes alongside. "I might be a little worried about Wildrider though. He's liable to mess up your pretty pile here."

Dead End kept quiet about just how tempted he had been to do the very same thing.

Waspinator jumped out of being startled of the sudden appearance of Skyjack. He hated surprises. Especially the ones that talked to you.

Waspinator snatched his weapon from the hands of Skyjack with a scowl.

"Doezzn't matter how hard Wazzpinator try, Universe zztill hate him! What doezz Invizzi-bot want, anyway?" Waspinator skipped the pleasantries rather quickly, he was still bitter from his rebuff from everyone who he talked to.

He holstered his weapon and sat down on a chair with a flutter of his wings. He disliked this whole ordeal. If only someone would just inspire him like Megatron did. Give him a reason.

OoC: This will have to supersede my last post a bit, unfortunately.

Hanger

Ramjet looked behind him to check if the Battlechargers were coming. No dice. They simply strolled out of the Hanger like they didn't even notice him.

He will be noticed soon. Everyone will see what Ramjet can do, they will all fear and respect him like no one ever has! They will beg for mercy as their lives are beaten from their bodies, lifeless with no spark to claim their own! Ah! How it will finally make him feel at home.

But not today.

Ramjet grumbled as he made his way into a side room, passing the murmuring Stunticons and into an auxiliary controll room.

Whisking his fingers over the screen, he brought up plans for the Ultrax and quickly began to download them to his datapad. Once finished, he strode out of the room and began to walk out of the hanger. The thought crossed his mind that maybe it was a good idea to fire at the Energon Cubes and maybe kill the Stunticons... Hm.

Soon. Soon they will die. Very soon.

>>Slipstream. I need you to teleport me to the surface. Meet me in my quarters.<< Ramjet said through his Comm link with his female associate.

The white and blue Lamborghini had taken his time with stacking as many energon cubes as he could for fear of detonating not only one but all of them. He had just finished when Drag Strip had returned from his first journey to the storage room where the cubes were to be stored.

Breakdown’s attention was drawn from his task and to the former racer as Drag Strip mused out loud at just what Ramjet was doing in the hanger bay. Tilting his head to one side, the scout took in the form of the coneheaded Seeker. After a moment of quiet contemplation, Breakdown quickly looked away just in case Ramjet turned to look directly at him. He certainly didn’t need the nutty conehead initiating a staring contest; it would definitely be one the scout would lose.

Finally breakdown offered a modicum of a response by shrugging.

“Sorry Drag, I have no clue what he’s doing here. But I wouldn’t put it past him if he had something up his sleeve. I just don’t wanna be here when the slag hits the fan.”

Breakdown cast a quick glance back to the white and crimson Seeker before regarding Drag Strip and pushing his hover cart out in to the corridor and on towards the storage room.
____

Wildrider kept his position against the wall, his foot raised and resting against its metal surface. The terrorist watched the goings on as Ramjet entered the bay and began to converse with the moronic Battlechargers…Run-a-slag and Run-a-frag, or whatever their names were. He never did take the time to learn the names of anyone he felt were inferior. Of course he was forced to learn the names of his own teammates if only to emphasize who he thought was an aft.

The arrival of Drag Strip brought a wide grin to his face. He pushed off the wall and approached the remaining hover cart. Wildrider felt it necessary to grate on the former racer’s attitude by haphazardly tossing a pile of energon cubes on to the cart. He made things all the more annoying by keeping his optics on Drag Strip instead of the task he was trying to perform.

“Hey Draggy. How about a race? I bet I can make it back to the storage room before you even leave the bay!”

Before the yellow mech could even respond to Wildrider’s invitation, the terrorist grabbed a hold of the handle on Drag’s cart and shoved it with almost too much force. The small stack his comrade had made tumbled back to the floor giving Wildrider the chance to take off out of the bay and on to the storage room.

The last thing anyone in the hanger bay could even make out was the loud jovial cackle and the back side of the crazed Stunticon.

Storage Room

After passing a cringing Breakdown, Wildrider’s laughter arrived at the room much sooner than his person or even the scout. He rounded the corner and finally entered the room, its only occupant, Dead End who was performing his duty like the good little mech he was.

The terrorist scrunched up his face before letting out a snort. That slagging Drag Strip had to be OCD. Stacking those cubes in that corner so neatly, so precise, that would just not do.

“Hey Dead, didn’t Draggy tell you we had to get this job done lickety split? Soooo, let’s not disappoint!”

With his last word, Wildrider pulled his cart to the side of the neatly stacked pile and simply tilted the cart so that all of the cubes slid off in an unceremonious jumble.

“There, that’s much better, wouldn’t you say? HAHAHA!”

Starscream hit the deck to avoid the incoming blasts from Razorclaw’s shoulder-mounted concussion cannons. One shot grazed the seeker’s wing as he landed faceplate first on the floor. It mattered little since he would be doing no flying while stuck in such tight quarters, but it would have to be rectified before he took flight again. Unfortunately for Starscream, the Predacon leader’s attack was not yet over as the animalistic ‘Con lunged at him, sword drawn up and ready to strike. Thankfully, Motormaster saw fit to throw his own blade into the battle, thus giving Starscream a method to defend himself.

Grabbing the Stunticon Commander’s sword, Starscream spun around onto his back and blocked the downward slice of Razorclaw’s vibrating sonic blade just in time before it would have surely cut into the cockpit on his chest plate. The Seeker Commander quickly followed that up with a swift kick to the Predacon’s shin guards, causing the mechanical beast to stagger back a few steps.

“You didn’t honestly think it would be that easy to beat me, did you, Razorclaw?” Starscream gloated as he got to his feet and assumed a fighting stance, Motormaster’s sword clutched tightly in his actuators. “I am Starscream, right hand mech to Megatron, himself. While the slagmaker and I did not always see optic to optic, I’ve been with him from the very beginning of this eternal conflict and I plan to see his vision through to the very end!”

“We’ll see about that,” Razorclaw replied with a growl as the two mechs circled one another within the ring formed by all those watching from the sidelines. It was not the best of arenas in which to fight, but they had little choice. The leadership here needed to be decided and it needed to be decided now, not later. No more time need be wasted with politics and scheming. Right here, right now, one would fall while the other walked away victorious.

Once again, Razorclaw lunged forward with his blade up, but this time Starscream met the Predacon’s charge and the two swords clashed together in the center of the makeshift ring, metallic sounds echoing across the bridge. Razorclaw sneered at the seeker from behind his faceshield. Their strengths were comparable, but the Predacon Commander had the edge due mostly to his larger size. Razorclaw pushed forward with his blade, causing Starscream’s arms to shake and bend under the pressure. A bead of energon ran down the side of the seeker’s faceplate, a clear indication of the stress he was under. “You’re sweating, Starscream,” Razorclaw growled as he leaned in close to his prey. “It’ll be over soon. I promise.”

“For you perhaps!” the Seeker Commander retorted before bringing his knee up hard into Razorclaw’s midsection followed by a swift head butt to the Predacon’s face, leaving a sizable crack in his protective shield. The predatory ‘Con staggered backwards as energon dripped from the damaged area. Starscream then went on the attack and swung Motormaster’s sword at his stunned adversary. Razorclaw recovered quickly and managed to dodge several attempts before ducking down and delivering vicious swing at Starscream’s midsection, slicing into his armor plating. It was more than just a surface scratch as purple fluid now seeped from the wound, but it was not deep enough to stop the seeker or end the fight at this juncture. “Ahhh! You filthy slagger! You’ll pay dearly for that!”

Starscream rushed forward, swinging his borrowed blade wildly at Razorclaw who easily deflected each attack as swords clashed again and again. Finally, the Predacon Commander slashed down at the handle of the seeker’s weapon, forcing the blade loose and effectively disarming him. Motormaster’s sword fell to the floor, but before Starscream had a chance to recover it, Razorclaw stepped in quickly and kicked it away towards one of his own Predacons. “Now what, Starscream?” Razorclaw taunted as he stood with his sonic sword at the ready.

Starscream remained calm, knowing full well he was once again at a disadvantage. Perhaps he always was, but he wasn’t about to give his opponent the satisfaction of knowing that. “Now, you’ll feel the bite of my lasers, Predacon!” The Seeker Commander raised his arms and fired a volley of shots from his arm-mounted cannons. Razorclaw was able to avoid the first few, but the confines of the bridge meant that most would hit their target and so they did.

_____________________________

Razorclaw slowly backed away as blast after blast struck his armor, leaving damage and scorch marks behind. Having no where to seek cover, he raised his arms in a defensive posture. Then, almost as suddenly as he had disarmed Starscream, the Predacon leader’s own sword was knocked from his hand by a well aimed laser blast. “Slaggit!” Razorclaw was not so much angry at his attacker as he was at himself for allowing such a fool hardy thing to happen. Still, the battle was not lost for him, not by a long shot.

Transforming into his lion mode, Razorclaw roared at his adversary before leaping through the laser-filled air and tackling Starscream to the ground where the mechanical beast positioned himself on top of the pinned down Seeker Commander. Razorclaw immediately began to bite into Starscream’s chest plating as his claws dug into his prey’s arms. Bits of metal and armor were torn from Starscream’s body, exposing the circuitry underneath while his left arm cannon was ripped off and flung across the room. “Get off of me you filthy animal! Get off!” That did not happen as Razorclaw roared again, this time directly into the seeker’s faceplate, his canine teeth dangerously close to tearing into Starscream’s throat. “Okay! Okay! You win!” Starscream finally shouted as Razorclaw tore another chunk of armor from the seeker's shoulder near his neck.

“I’m sorry, what was that you just said?” Razorclaw questioned as he spat out the piece of torn metal.

“I said you win, Razorclaw. There’s no need to kill me. I can be of great value to you during your term as Decepticon leader. Just give me the chance to prove it to you.”

The Predacon Commander squinted his lion optics down at his helpless prey, unsure of what to think. He had gone into this battle thinking that one of them would die at the other’s hands. However, Starscream did make a good point. The white and red seeker could be very useful, especially in keeping the other seekers in line. Besides, they needed all the good mechs they could get at this point considering that Shockwave and the Autobots were still a set of problems that needed to be contended with.

“Very well, Starscream,” Razorclaw finally uttered as he backed off and away from the downed seeker. “You will live...to serve me!” The Predacon Commander then transformed back to robot mode and cast a winning gaze over to his unit. He was about to celebrate his victory when he suddenly felt a strange sensation course through his circuits. Instantly, he felt like the power had simply drained out of him. Staggering slightly, Razorclaw turned his head back towards Starscream where he could see that the seeker had pulled out his null-ray rifle and already fired off a shot at him, one that hit its target dead on.

“I live to serve no one but me, Razorclaw!” Starscream bellowed as the mangled Decepticon rose to his feet again and fired more shots from his null-ray weapon directly at Razorclaw. The Predacon Commander was stuck again multiple times, knocking him backwards and to the ground with a loud clank. Lying on his back, Razorclaw remained motionless as the effects of the Seeker Commander’s weapon took hold, his spark pulsating rapidly beneath his chestplate.

Starscream moved cautiously towards his opponent, knowing full well that the Predacon leader was still dangerous even while his circuits were deprived of power. “You fought well, Razorclaw. You more than lived up to your reputation. But, now I’m afraid this fight is over. I win. You will swear your allegiance to me or I will have no choice but to destroy you.” Now standing over the fallen Predacon, Starscream awaited a response. “Take your time.”

_____________________________

Razorclaw couldn’t believe he had allowed the seeker to get the best of him. He had let his guard down thinking that his opponent had finally given up. He had to admit, though, Screamer did put up a good fight, as well, much better than Razorclaw had expected. In the end, though, the seeker had outsmarted him by waving a faux white flag as it were. However, the Predacon Commander was not done yet as his backup reserve power came online and began to force electricity into his circuits once again. Normally, this would overload his circuits, but that was not the case here considering the effects of the null rays.

Slowly, Razorclaw turned his head to his right where he saw his sonic sword lying near Divebomb’s feet a short distance away. He then returned his gaze back up at Starscream and let out a weak laugh. “We aren't finished yet, Starscream,” the Predacon Commander replied knowingly just as his winged subordinate kicked the sonic sword across the floor towards his opened clawed hand. Gripping it tightly, Razorclaw lashed out towards the seeker and impaled him straight through the midsection with the vibrating blade before it emerged out the back side. Letting go of the handle, the Predacon leader fell back to the floor once more as his circuits were still reeling from the null ray effects. Thankfully, his reserve power had given him the extra boost he needed for one last, decisive strike.

Razorclaw glared up at Starscream, who was now backing away while clutching with both hands the sword that was imbedded within his abdomen. The Seeker Commander stumbled, a shocked look etched on his faceplate, before he then fell backwards to the floor, still holding on to the Predacon’s weapon as energon began to flow from the gaping wound.

“Divebomb, a hand if you will,” Razorclaw summoned as the flying Predacon moved to his leader’s side and began to help him up to at least a seated position. The other Predacons then moved in closer to get a better look at the now defeated Starscream. As they did so, Skywarp suddenly appeared at his commander’s side out of thin air, having teleported onto the bridge from the outside corridor.

“No one touches him! NO ONE!” The teleporter bellowed with his own arm-mounted weapons at the ready.

“Predacons! Back away immediately!” Razorclaw ordered in a stern voice. His animalistic minions did as they were instructed, but not because of Skywarp’s demands. Only Razorclaw told them what to do and that was something that would never change.

Once power flowed uninterrupted through his circuits again, a still weakened and battle-damaged Razorclaw got to his feet with Divebomb’s assistance. He then slowly approached the fallen Seeker Commander and looked down upon his beaten adversary. “I have to admit, Starscream, you gave me a good fight. Well done, but I'm afraid that it is you who loses here. Skywarp, take your commander down to the med bay for repairs. We still need his expertise and skills in the fight against both the Autobots and Shockwave.”

Razorclaw then turned towards everyone present on the bridge. “This battle is now over. You will all look to me as your new leader. If you have a problem with that, then by all means join Shockwave on the Thanatos in orbit. Just know that I have every intention of retaking my vessel from that cycloptic calculator, so you may see me again sooner than you expect or want. Is that clearly understood?”

Unable to proceed any further thanks in part to Hellion’ hold on her shoulder and Skywarp’s warning that now was just not a good time to interrupt the proceedings, Nightraven took a slow step away from the door separating the three Seekers from the bridge and the battle that would decide just who would be the rightful leader of the Decepticon ranks.

In all reality Nightraven was not sure just who she preferred at this point in time. Starscream was her immediate commanding officer, but was he truly the mech that could lead them to the vision Megatron had for their faction? Everything seemed to be happening so quickly.

The femme turned her optics toward the floor as she raised a hand to the side of her head. She needed time to think, time to work things though her processor, to make the right decision. As she lifted her head she watched Hellion approach the doors. She couldn’t be here, wouldn’t bear witness to any of this. Instead, Nightraven quietly turned from her sister and Skywarp and slunk away in to the darkness where she could make a silent retreat.

Once she was away from the spectacle that was obviously taking place on the bridge, Nightraven stuck to the walls of the adjoining halls as she made her way back to the small room that served as her and Hellion’s quarters. She needed time alone, time to let what has happened so far sink in.

The room had been locked after she had left to see Hellion in the med bay the first time they arrived on the Ultrax. She input the security code and waited as the door slid to one side giving her access to the sparse personal living space within.

Nightraven let out a heavy sigh as she moved past the threshold and let the door slide close behind her. It locked automatically as she walked further in to her room.

This is all so complicated. I know that the way to get anywhere in the Decepticon ranks is to take it, but this kind of barbaric behavior just seems counterproductive.

The black and purple femme made her way to one of the chairs that adorned the wall next to her berth. She slumped down in to it and pressed her back deep in to the chair. Her head tilted back until her optics were focused on the ceiling.

Maybe she should let Helly know where she went. And find out what had happened after she had left. She hoped Skywarp hadn’t been stupid enough to get involved, but then with the teleporter one could never be quite sure.

The thought brought a slight smile to her faceplate. What she saw in him she would probably never know. I hope you don’t get yourself slagged, Skywarp.

“He better be in one piece.”

If anyone had really been able to pay attention to anything else but the duel taking place in front of them, they would have witnessed the largest Decepticon present of the bridge being unable to do anything else but to stare at the fight unfolding before him with a look of sinister delight projected on his visage. The moment the fight really got going, the sadistic leader of the Stunticons had not been able to shift his attention away from it. The caution he had taken to follow the reactions of the other spectators had quickly evaporated as he had given in to enjoy the rare spectacle before him. Back before the war bots of all classes would have flocked to pay to see a duel between the notorious and enigmatic warlord of Ciraxes Tor and the most famous representative of Cybertron's premium military branch - the Seekers.

However, instead of fighting for the glory in the pits, these two were dueling for the right to rule. And what a spectacle it was.

Starscream, stripped of the use of his most lethal skills proved to be far better warrior outside of his realm of comfort than he was given credit for. Quite simply, there were only few Transformers that could survive as long as Starscream had against a warrior of Razorclaw's melee and hand to hand skills. And think of that the Seeker Commander actually had almost defeated the Predacon before Razorclaw had managed to impale the Seeker with his own blade? Priceless.

Out of nowhere but as expected, Skywarp appeared next to his fallen Commander and stood up to defend Starscream from the Predacons. Such loyalty was not inspired by all, Motormaster knew it by first hand. His own Stunticons would have done the same only through fear if at all. Razorclaw was quick to make sure the Predacons stood their ground and made the only sensible decision he could in the current situation. Only a fool would have thrown Starscream's skills down to the drain right now by slaying him. Perhaps Razorclaw would have to take care of the Seeker later but now was not the time. To defeat Shockwave, he needed all the forces he could gather.

Nodding approvingly, Motormaster walked up to Razorclaw and spoke for the first time since the battle had began, "Commander."

Having said that, the massive Stunticon helped Divebomb to lift Razorclaw to his feet and then rised Razorclaw's right arm high to the air as a sign of victory and bellowed, "ALL HAIL RAZORCLAW!"

Utter disgrace, purely disgrace. This was a nightmare for the seekers as Thrust feared of the treatment they would get compared to the predacons. Something had to be done, but watching Razorclaw tear apart Starscream made him twice on speaking out of order. It was best to wait for Starscream to recover to see what the next plan of action was. Thrust aimed his cannons at Razorclaw then lowered them as he bowed a bit before the new commander. Thrust sharply turns around and walks away to help Skywarp get Starscream in the med bay. This battle between the predacons and seekers won't be over, not if he had to say anything about it and Starscream would agree too.

"This isn't over." Thrust muttered under his breath to make sure the other decepticons didn't hear.

A scowl formed on Slipstream’s face as Ramjet began issuing a stream of orders to her. While she had turned down his offer to rule with him in his crazy scheme that didn’t mean she wanted to be treated like some simple minion. It was obvious that the other seeker knew little about her, something she preferred when it came to the lower ranks, but he didn’t even know how her teleportation worked. She wasn’t about to play transport for him.

>>”First of all Ramjet, Waspinator and the Battlechargers are a waste of time. They are among the worst dregs of the Decepticons and we do not need them. Secondly I’m not about to blindly teleport out of here. I need to have precise coordinates that are clear or a good scan of the area I am to jump to. Going in blind could result in me fusing with something. I also don’t particularly like being treated as common transport.”<<

Hellion did her best to peer into the bridge and watch the fight. She didn’t exactly have the best angle but she was able to make out most of it. If she couldn’t be in the middle of a battle being able to watch one was the best alternative. This battle in particular was shaping up to be a good one, which surprised her a bit. It was easy to forget that Starscream was a fairly good warrior. Maybe if he had just focused on that instead of always trying to lead he would have got even further in the ranks then he had.

That said she wasn’t surprised when Starscream was defeated. He had pulled out every trick in the book he had, but it just wasn’t quite enough, especially in close quarters like this. The seeker watched as Skywarp teleported in to protect Starscream. Hellion didn’t have that much attachment to him to put her neck on the line like that. On the other hand as Razorclaw proclaimed himself their new leader she wasn’t exactly gung-ho to falling in line under him.

Razorclaw may have beaten Starscream in battle, but he still didn’t quite seem like the right leader for them. He just didn’t seem big enough, important enough. Sure he was a great warrior and led a fierce team, but it felt like you needed more then that to lead the Decepticons. Maybe no one other then Megatron truly had what it takes to lead them all. The thoughts were a bit too heavy for the berserker. In the end as long as Razorclaw saw fit to deploy her in frequent battles she didn’t really have much to complain about.

Hellion turned to see what Nightraven though and noticed her sister was gone. A frown formed on her face. She must have left during the fight. She really had no killer instincts in her to shy away from this battle. She quietly slipped away and began heading back to their shared quarters.

Quarters

The door slid open after she punched in the security code. Nightraven was leaning back in one of her chairs staring at the ceiling, probably contemplating life, the universe and everything in it. Nightraven was the thinker of the two while Hellion was most definitely the fighter.

“It’s over. All Hail Razorclaw,” she said without too much enthusiasm. “I’m not sure what happens now, but I imagine it will be interesting, and hopefully violent.”

Rampage had just witnessed one of the quickest, most violent one-on-one melees he had had the pleasure to witness in a long, long time. Being a Decepticon really didn't get a whole lot better than it did right then. He was so charged up the he would have hardly cared who won.

But watching the victor and hearing the chant of "all hail Razorclaw" brought the Predacon warrior back in to the here and now. Razorclaw had won. Razorclaw--carrier of Megatron's torch. Razorclaw--leader of the Decepticons. Rampage couldn't be more proud of the alpha predator than he was now.

"All Hail Razorclaw!" Rampage said, thrusting his sword in to the air. Behind him, Tantrum did the same.

"ALL HAIL RAZORCLAW!"

He knew that the unit alpha could do it, but he also had known that Starscream was competent and his approach to honor was dubious on his best day, in Rampage's view. There were any number of ways that Rampage had considered that might have lead to the Predacons being forced to bow to their new Seeker masters. Those thoughts were washed away now.

"What now, Lord Razorclaw?"

Dead End stared down at the misshapen pile of cubes that were now strewn across the hangar bay floor. He then cast a backwards glance at the departing Wildrider before shrugging.

He then unceremoniously dumped his own cart full of cubes in a similar manner. Energon was energon, right? Who really cares how it's stacked?

He then turned and proceeded to leave the storage room. Seeing Breakdown approaching he nodded, indicating the room itself.

"Just toss it anywhere. I'm sure nobody cares," he said, before staring off in to space for a moment. "Wow...I'm really full. It'll probably never happen again."

With the chants of “All Hail Razorclaw” filling the room, the Predacon Commander and new leader of the Decepticon Earth-bound forces nodded approvingly. The only ones to not seem pleased with his victory were the seekers, Thrust and Skywarp. That was to be expected, however, as their loyalties were embedded deeply with Starscream. Razorclaw held nothing against their lack of enthusiasm, knowing that their respect would come with time and a little patience. Hopefully, once Starscream had been fully repaired, the lion-former would be able to convince him that supporting the new Predacon regime would benefit not only those here on Earth but the entirety of the Decepticon Empire. Shockwave needed to be quelled and Razorclaw could only do that with the support of the seekers and the Air Commander was the key in that regard.

His full strength returning, Razorclaw pulled away from both Divebomb and Motormaster before retrieving his sonic sword from Starscream’s gut and then taking a seat in the command chair at the center of the bridge. He looked to Rampage who had asked the obvious question everyone wanted to know. What do they do now? “Now, Rampage, we take back what is rightfully ours, namely the Thanatos. Now, we make preparations to force Shockwave to relinquish his command of the orbital forces so that the Decepticons can become whole once more. Afterwards we can then focus on eradicating the Autobots here on this mudball of a planet followed by a strong push against them across the entire galaxy. However, first things first.”

Razorclaw tapped a few keys on the chair’s control console, bringing up the main view screen in front of him. He quickly gained access to the ship’s mainframe and soon found the location of the construction site for the new Earth-bound base. It’s position was not that far from where the Ultrax had crashed, not to mention it was also underwater which seemed fitting given the current circumstances. The Predacon then opened a heavily encrypted comm channel so that he may address the entirety of the Decepticon forces on board the Stunticon frigate as well as the ones on and around the base site:

>>”Attention all Decepticons, this is Lord Razorclaw on board the Ultrax. I have beaten Air Commander Starscream in melee combat and thus assumed the role of supreme leader. Regardless of Shockwave’s recent message to all of you, he is not worthy of the throne left behind by Lord Megatron. Only a seasoned, capable warrior and former gladiator such as myself can successfully lead the Empire to ultimate victory over the Autobot suppressors. However, we are being hindered by a rift within the ranks created by the Military Operations Commander. I will need all of your support in order to quash his little rebellion and thus make our forces whole once more. Only then can we hope to eliminate the Autobot threat once and for all. If anyone sees fit to oppose me, you will face a similar fate that has befallen Starscream. Like Megatron before me, I will not tolerate weakness or betrayal. Both will be dealt with swiftly and harshly as I see fit. Consider all that I have said and accept the new Predacon regime and you will be rewarded in the cycles to come.”<<

Cutting the encrypted comm link, Razorclaw sat back in the command chair as Skywarp teleported Starscream off the bridge in a flash of light. The Predacon’s gaze then fell to Motormaster as he prepared for the next order of business. “Commander, this ship needs to be repaired and fortified as much as possible. Make sure your Stunticons have transferred all of the energon acquired from the recent missions into storage if they have not done so already. Afterwards, deploy a network of sensors around the Ultrax, both on the sea floor and up on the ocean’s surface. We need to have optics and audio receptors all around us so that we may be prepared for a possible sneak attack if Shockwave were to discover our location. He has the benefit of Soundwave’s expertise. If anyone can locate the Ultrax it would be that monotone mech. We need to see what’s coming. Is that understood?”

Razorclaw then returned his glare to the view screen in front of him before opening an encrypted private channel to the Combaticon Commander:

>>”Commander Onslaught, this is Lord Razorclaw. I know my recent message to the masses might have come as a bit of a shock. It was an unexpected but necessary step in order to accomplish what needs to be done for the betterment of the Empire. I hope that I continue to have your support in this endeavor as it will be crucial for us to reunite the Decepticons if we are to be successful in defeating our true enemies, the Autobots. I am placing you in charge of the Yellow Sea base site. Ascertain and provide me with the current status of the structure. How long will it take before the base is operational enough to be occupied and adequately defended from any possible attacks? I await your response.”<<

*********

Skywarp grabbed on to Starscream as Razorclaw pulled his sonic sword from the Seeker Commander’s abdomen before the Predacon made his way to the command chair. Everything had happened so quickly, not to mention violently, that the prankster had only astroseconds to decide what he should do if anything. Teleporting in to protect a defeated Starscream from the advancing Predacons seemed like the right choice as his loyalty was ultimately to the seekers and Starscream was their commander, after all.

Now, without Razorclaw’s sword acting as a sort of plug, energon was practically gushing from Starscream’s wound without end. If the former Decepticon Commander did not reach a CR chamber soon, he would fall into a deep stasis that he may not wake up from. “Step away from him, Thrust,” Skywarp warned, motioning for his crimson comrade to move back. “The only way he’ll survive is if I teleport him down to the repair bay and get him into a CR chamber immediately. Of course, if you want to come along then by all means hold on.”

Without further delay, Skywarp initiated the teleportation and vanished from sight with Starscream and possibly Thrust in tow.

Repair Bay

Skywarp reappeared holding on to Starscream. The prankster did not look to see if Thrust had come along for the ride. It didn’t really matter. Instead, ‘Warp found a nearby CR chamber and quickly helped the Seeker Commander inside. Once the wounded Starscream was in position and secured, the teleporter moved back and took one last look at the beaten air warrior. “You may not be the supreme leader anymore, Starscream, but you’re still my leader.” With that said, the prankster closed the chamber door and activated the repair cycle.

Razorclaw’s encrypted message then came in across Skywarp’s comm line. It was the usual rhetoric that he had expected from a Predacon. The threats of violence against any who opposed the new regime sounded like a desperate attempt at fear mongering in order to keep everyone in line. It may work on some, but certainly not all. It didn’t matter to Skywarp, though, as Starscream would be the one he followed once the Seeker Commander finally emerged from the CR chamber. Until then, he would do as instructed even if it meant following the orders of the brutish Razorclaw.

Hangar Bay

“Neither do I, actually,” Drag Strip responded to Breakdown’s comment about not wanting to be around when Ramjet did something stupid. As Drag continued to stack more energon cubes onto his cart, the white and blue Stunticon pushed his assortment of cubes out into the hallway, leaving the yellow mech alone with Wildrider. Of course, it didn’t take long for the terrorist to notice Drag and begin staring at him in an annoying fashion. At least ‘Rider was finally doing some work, and thus the former racer decided not to respond or say anything to him at all so not to agitate the terrorist further. Of course, one never really had to say anything to Wildrider in order to get him riled up.

A challenge to race him down to the storage room got Drag Strip to finally acknowledge the terrorist’s presence. “A race, huh?” Drag Strip reluctantly replied as he turned to face Wildrider. “If you want to look like a fool then sure I....” The yellow Stunticon’s sentence was abruptly cut short when Wildrider pushed his cubes off the cart before running out the door and into the corridor. “Hey, that’s cheating you fragger!” Drag shouted after him not caring if he was heard or not.

Piling the knocked over cubes back onto his cart, Drag Strip hurried out into the corridor in an attempt to catch up to his terroristic comrade.

Storage Room

Drag Strip entered the storage room, knowing before he had even entered that he had lost the race. Of course, the only reason he did lose was because the terrorist had cheated. Otherwise, Drag would have easily won. Seeing Wildrider and Dead End dump their cubes haphazardly next to his neat pile didn’t make matters any better. At least Breakdown hadn't follow suit yet.

Pushing his cart further into the room, the former racer was about to say something clever to the terrorist when he received the communique from Razorclaw over his comm line. The contents of the message came as quite a shock to him, almost as much as Shockwave’s prior assertion to power.

“Heh, well I’ll be slagged. Razorclaw beat Starscream? I didn’t see that coming,” Drag Strip commented having forgotten about the task at hand for a moment. “I didn’t even think Razorclaw was that ambitious. I mean, how’s he going to be the supreme leader of all Decepticons when he couldn’t even keep his own unit together. Howlstrike anyone?” The yellow mech just shrugged as he continued to push his cart over to the half neat and half messy pile in the corner. Drag let out a sigh before simply dumping his cubes next to the others. “Fine, have it your way. But if Motormaster comes down here and sees this mess, I’m going to tell him you did it, Wildrider.”

Motto: "I'm not psycho...I just like psychotic things."
Quarters

At the sound of the door opening, Nightraven kept her optics focused on the ceiling. She already knew who the new occupant was. Not even the warm glow of the corridor or the deep orange hue of her sister’s paint job gave her cause to lower her head. Instead Nightraven remained silent.

The spectacle that had taken place on the bridge had come to an end with the Predacon Commander as its victor. With Razorclaw as the new Decepticon Lord life as a Seeker would be forever changed. Had Starscream been the one to win the battle their future within the empire would have been more than assured.

“Yes. All. Hail. Razorclaw.”

The femme repeated her sister’s lack of enthusiasm. And still she retained her position; slumped slightly and head turned upward. This was not a good day.

“Now we wait. That's what we do. And things will only become violent if we step out of line. But I doubt things will come to that as Seekers seem to be the bane of the Predacons’ existence, not to mention others’. Which means we'll be targets no matter what we do.”

Nightraven grew quiet once more letting her sibling digest what was just said. Hellion was by no means stupid and knew exactly what the future would hold for ‘their kind’, an existence of servitude under their new Predacon warlord.

For the black and purple femme the time for deep contemplation was over. Finally Nightraven lowered her gaze down to Hellion who was now standing directly in front of her. The deep crimson of her optics was dulled as she took in her sister’s form.

“I know Starscream survived. He seems to be the only Cybertronian who is capable of endure a killing blow with little to no permanent damage. He’ll obviously make a full recovery and return to a position under our “new Lord”. He’s the only mech, besides Megatron, who will be able to keep the Seekers in line. For Razorclaw it’s the perfect way to keep an eye on all of us.”

Nightraven shook her head lightly as she straightened her posture in the large chair. And then the message came. Her gaze moved from Hellion and down to her hands which were neatly placed in her lap.

“Things are going to be very different from here on out, Helly. We keep in line or we get scrapped.”

The scout let out a low sigh as she thought of the coming future for the Decepticon regime.

“I take it Skywarp took Commander Starscream to the medical bay?”

Storage Room

Breakdown nearly jumped out of his metal skin when he arrived in the hanger. The appearance of the cart and Dead End in front of him was enough to scare him in to shut down. Thankfully the morose mech paid no mind and addressed the scout in his usual uninterested way.

“Y…yeah. Right. Anywhere. Th..thanks Dead.”

The white and blue Lamborghini pulled past Dead End and came to a stop beside the disheveled pile of cubes. Breakdown’s lip curled slightly as he let out a snort of disgust. Shaking his head he bent down and picked up one of the cubes.

“Drop it, crackpot!”

The sudden appearance of Wildrider caused the scout to drop the energon cube back down to the floor. His frame shaking nearly uncontrollably he turned to face the terrorist.

“W…Wildrider! Don’t sneak up on me like that!”

The sneer spread across Wildrider’s face only made Breakdown more agitated than he already was.

“What? What do you want?”

With his index finger Wildrider jabbed his teammate in the chestplate.

“I want you to leave that pile alone. Don’t fix it, don’t move it, and don’t TOUCH IT!”

Breakdown winced as his comrade screeched out the last part. Of all the mechs besides Motormaster, Breakdown truly hated Wildrider. At least if Motormaster wanted to torture you he’d simply beat you and be done with it, but Wildrider went further. The terrorist didn’t beat you he terrorized you. And that meant anything could go.

The maniacal smirk that washed over Wildrider’s face only made Breakdown all the more paranoid. What was he going to do next, stare at him for an ungodly amount of time giving him no room to escape?

"That pile's just the way I like it. HAHAHA!"

Upon the arrival of Drag Strip, Wildrider quieted backed away from Breakdown, but only marginally. He wanted to keep his paranoid friend as worked up as possible. The crackling of Breakdown’s comm. link only seemed to disturb the already quivering mech. At the same time Wildrider's own comm. link pinged to life. Once the message from Razorclaw concluded the terrorist looked to Drag Strip.

“Yeah, who’da thunk Claw could have bested that Seeker blowhard?”

A wide, devilish grin formed on Wildrider’s face as he quickly raised his hand and began waving it around like an excited school child trying to gain the attention of his teacher.

“I knew! I knew! HAHAHAHA! That slagged flier could never have beaten ‘ol Claw. Not without room to take flight!”

His excitement soon faded as Drag Strip went right back to work, this time threatening to tell Motormaster just who to punish if their Commander was unsatisfied with the treatment of the energon cubes. But the smile returned as he addressed the former racer.

“Ha! Not before I tell him it was you, Draggy! After all, I am faster than you. That last race proves it!”

Taking hold of his cart Wildrider pulled alongside his yellow compatriot and stopped. He leaned over toward Drag Strip and whispered lowly to him.

“L…L…Loser.”

The terrorist let out a deep guffaw as he finally left the storage room and headed back to the hanger.

Repair Bay

Hooligan stood there in shock and horror as he saw he battered frame of Starscream being put in the CR Chamber. He could not believe it actually happened when the call was made, but to see it first hand was overwhelming. "I...I...damn. I wanted to see him taken down a peg but...that's a bit much even for me." He says as he glances at Skywarp. "It's...it's true isn't it? Razorclaw he...he actually did this. I never thought he would. I'd sooner thought Soundwave'd find a proxy ruler and place him in charge."

Space Case, trying to make sense of things himself look over at Hooligan. "What's a proxy?"

"A guy pretending to lead while the real leader keeps his identity secret. Like a guy to compensate for Soundie's lack of a personality." Hooligan says. "Scrap, where are you Skyjack? We need to assess the sitch and plan for our own survival. With CatMandu in charge, the chain of command has become very Darwinian." He felt nervous around Skywarp too, as the chance of him taking things out on them for on little slight was a very real possibility. "SC, let's give Warp some alone time."

"But if Starscream's here then he's not alone." Space Case points out, not getting the hint.

"Just shut up and walk. We need to find Jack and now." Hooligan groans as he heads for the door.

Repair Bay

Thrust nodded at Skywarp when he told him to hold on tight to him. Thrust grabbed onto Skywarp tightly, making sure to not let go of him during the teleportation sequence. Within a quick second, Skywarp teleported Thrust and the injured Starscream to the repair bay. Quickly not paying attention to anything else, Thrust looks at Skywarp as he puts their seeker commander to the CR chamber to have him fixed up. This was a disaster to the seekers as Thrust made possibly countless predictions of what the predacons would treat the seekers now. Getting Razorclaw transmission through his comm-link only made thought of more scenarios. Only Starscream can lead the decepticon empire because at least he is able to inspire his soldiers. Razorclaw on the other hand is only able to put this group together through fear, fear in which won't last long. Razorclaw may be powerful, but he isn't like Megatron. Thrust looked upon Skywarp as he wonders what will happen to the seekers now.

"What a tragic this is Skywarp, we would be treated horribly now that Starscream is down. Once the commander is up again, I feel our commander would challenge Razorclaw again."

Thrust overheard the suddenly commotion of Hooligan and Space Case. When Hooligan headed out the door, Thrust turned his head a little bit to watch him leave along with Space Case.

"Good riddance."

Weapon: Energo-Sword
Quarters

Hellion frowned as Nightraven bemoaned their current status. While she figured they probably would get knocked down a notch, it couldn’t be all that bad. There were only five Predacons and a lot more Seekers. There weren’t enough of them to threaten and bully the Seekers that much. They just weren’t that powerful, Razorclaw’s recent victory aside. They would probably throw their weight around a bit, but that wasn’t much different then what most other ranking Cons did.

On the positive side of things it would, hopefully, lead to more real combat for them. Razorclaw was less of the politician that Starscream was and more of a warrior. Maybe they would finally see some real battles and not just little diversions like the last skirmish she was in. Of course, her sister was liable to see that as less of a positive.

Hellion plopped down in a chair of her own. “It isn’t going to be that much of a change. It wasn’t like we were top Cons to begin with, we always had to watch our backs a bit. This will put a bigger target on the Predacons anyway. Everybody always wants to take out the guys on top. We might even have things easy for awhile.”

She frowned at Nightraven’s mention of Skywarp. “I didn’t stick around to find out. He isn’t my boyfriend anyway so I don’t feel the need to keep track of him.”
