Well it seems these things are becoming a regular appearance, the much needed, sometimes overpriced... Asia Exclusive!

With the recently announced Universe Bruticus Maximus getting a polish and reissue as an exclusive Asia release, we can only guess what recent or older mold Transformers Asia are going to surprise us with next?

Old Classics characters are getting a fresh lick of paint or hard to find favourites being made available again, sometimes with a new repaint as another character!

So what figures would you like to see next as an Asia Exclusive and why?

The trend with these Asia exclusives are that they take a figure, give it a similar Paintjob, and resell it for an insane price, since they don't reach Asia regular retail. Preorders for Magnus starting at $90! :BANG_HEAD:

If they're going to take figures and repaint them very well yet charge an insane markup...

Then keep using the live-action movie molds, since most of them are junk to me.

I'm hoping to snag the Laserbeak if I can find it.

. Mindwipe need as buddy, and I've wanted that mold since I first saw it.

(and the red/black Laserbeak deco is great!)

Also, the Breacher redeco (as Brawl) is something ill have to physically stop myself from buying. I LOVE the Breacher mold, it's awesome and perfect! My only real complaint is the fact that he should've been a deluxe.

my favorite part is the completely different paint scheme on the head. I thought it was a remold for the longest time, lol. Turns out its just a redeco, but because of how the head is molded, it brings out completely different detailing.

With some crazy prices flying around for these little buggers, I would like to see...

Universe - Ratchet

Apart from Astrotrain and Tankor, its only Ratchet that I am really missing from my current Classics collection.
He always seems to go for around £30 second hand here in the U.K. and more for the Henkei version, so it would be cool for this great character to make a reappearance!

Why not make this limited mold available too...

Universe Chevy Aveo - Swerve

This great little mold was only made available via Chevy Dealerships and didnt get a mass retail release as far as I know, and rumour are theres a yellow version too!

I'd like to see Energon Omega repainted to homage a Classics G1 Omega Supreme. Remold the one hand/arm to resemble his rocket hand/blaster hand and we're set. I'd settle for just the repaint. Encore Metroplex as Metrotitan. Although this is better suited to ehobby. Energon Scoponok as Classics Scorponok. With that, I'm tapped. That's just what's currently floating around in my head.

Lazerbeak is part of the Exclusive line? Hmm... He's been out here for awhile. Great figure, missed skystalker back in '09. He also has a great fan-mode bot mode combination with Mindwipe.

None of them. Exclusives are hard to get if you don't live near the place that stocks them and usually expensive, especially the Asian ones. Just give us regular retail with good distribution.

I want an FoC inspired repaint of the Energon Bruticus in G2 packaging at Botcon 2013. I've saved up $9000, fingers crossed they won't sell out.

Err... This thread is about the Asia exclusive figures...

There really have been TOO many Bruticus releases this years, I think it's enough for a long time...

As for FOC colours from the Energon Mold, just buy the Universe repaint, and get yourself the Energon Blight (tank)

See, the colours are almost identical to the FOC: Black Onslaught, Green brawl, gold Helicopter, Brown Blast off, add in your Energon Yellow Blight (Swindle) and you're set. Botcon stuff comes in either a box or no box. Botsets will unlikely contain bruticus, let alone a G2 packing.

Hmmm I wonder if the Fall of Cybertron and the Universe Bruticus share the same connector parts?
That would make for some interesting part swapping and crazy gestalt creations?

With Ultra Magnus getting the polish off for release shortly I wonder if we will also see his 'brother' Optimus Prime get touched up...?

Hey perhaps his drinking buddy Nemesis Prime might get a lick too?

Even if you didn't get any of the figures you have to admit that GDO was a a great set of figures. A decent selection of Movie, FE and Generations toys all repainted to be G1/G2 characters, many with new heads, some with brand new accessories. 4 Legends, 4 Scouts, 4 Deluxes, 4 (sort-of) Voyagers and 2 Leaders.

So who would you include in your dream GDO wave 2?

Personally I would love to see RTS Windcharger as Tailgate with an IDW-inspired head, Gen Scourge as Tread Bolt, Gen Blurr as Pointblank, FE Prime as Powertrain, and so on...

I already have them because a while back I broke down and got the Takara versions, but there is a mold that exists, yet has still never been released domestically, that I am sure many would stil like a crack at. So in this mythical wave 2, how about we see these two guys?

Odd that another thread has been started with a very similar subject but hey, its all for the love of Transformers! Let me throw GDO into the title, see if that helps!!! :lol:

I would like to see an Asia GDO Exclusive release of Dark of the Moon Deluxe Que but with a new Wheeljack head and G1 homage paint deco please Takara!

If we get that then it will only be a matter of time, considering current trends, that he will get a Toys 'R' Us retail release also! Whoop! :grin:
