Now with all this talk about hacking DVD players, what about Blu-Ray players? Are they region free, or do they need to be hacked too?

Since Blu-Ray is starting to become as popular as DVD, we could be looking at the replacement for DVDs.

If you don't want to buy a new dvd player go to http://www.dvdhacks.co.uk/ and check to see if they have a hack for the player you already have. They cover most brands and models.

The also have a list of BluRay players as well

It doesn't matter if the DVD is NTSC or PAL ... it will work fine on your TV as long as the player is region free.

Well it's nice to know that you can make your DVD player region free without having to spend extra money! :D I've been looking into buying the hilarious RTM 1 dubs for a while now and, once I get the money I'll be buying the DVD's and playing them on my DVD player!

It works well, you guys save a bunch on purchasing, and shipping costs arent anywhere near as bad for dvd's.but i couldn't find them I'm thinking about buying them and trying your trick.

It is the Chinese distribution but I have watched every episode perfectly on my Wal-Mart $25 Magnavox DVD player.
