This has to be one of the most informative threads I've ever had the pleasure to read. Not just for the great info I can use for all my little level 0's, but the banter that goes on between all you veteran members. I remember my old account on here, long since lost between password and email changes. Only had about 350 posts (anyone remember Christron101? Crap name I know...). Hopefully I'll be more more productive this time round. Need a new sig as well. Hopefully my photoshopping skills that I didn't have last time should help with that.

Hey about 0 Blues... I've noticed that brand new bots have some sort of bonus advantage at level zero before they get their first point allocated. After they get their first point in whatever their average seems to go down. Is that by design or just a RND fluke? Does a similar thing happen on each consecutive level?

It's the RNG ****ing with you, it does that. A lot.

Wait a minute there. If the RNG gives a bonus to the newbies, could they not exploit that by not allocating any points until they have enough XP to level in one go? I suppose they would be disadvantaged by being less capable than other bots, but still, someone could have tried it maybe. Just my little thought.

Good point, I've already thought of that. I have a level zero who put one point in, I just reset him and I'll try to see how he performs. I'm not sure if it will work or not because he is a reset not a virgin.

He can't join you in the cheap seats to much xp but get to lvl one i got a couple of con's still kicking about down there who are more than willing to give you a repair bill

but if he was level one then he would have 5 skill points, that defeats the purpose of the zero skill bonus. unless there is a way to level up on xp alone, i'd try that.
