In DOTM we see the LEM when the transformers return to the moon ,shouldn,t the launch pad just be there as Armstrong and Aldrin would have come back in the excursion module.

Yes. Yes it should. I think it's been discussed before, just a mistake- somebody, prob a few people, didn't realize the ascent stage would be gone.
