I'm not sure where you got the idea that they're repainting the old MW molds, but that's not what's happening.

Yeah, at the time... these were the first posable G1 characters we had ever gotten. Mirage and Hoist were mind blowingly posable compared to the G1. Megs looked amazing. Head sculpt was the best to date. The tuck away weapons are still some of the best designs we've ever gotten. Still.

While they certainly weren't perfect, for the time they definitely got me excited again. They marked a shift back to vehicles after years of beasts.

Best thing was, I found the entire line one day at KayBee. At checkout, they pulled out this staggeringly large sack and put the entire line in one bag. I felt like a nut walking out into the mall. Had a HUGE grin on my face.

I'm sure I'll never again be able to buy an entire line of toys in a day.

Most lines do last more than one wave, after all. But no longer must I say "Poor Machine Wars" for it is back!

I'd like to see the actual flipchanger machine wars hoist in G1 hoist colours!
