So this is just an upgrade for a crappy Hasbro figure, and not a scratch mold ???

Honestly, I think in this case they came up with the idea for the figure(s), designed the altmode, then tacked on a representation of The Fallen to entice fans.

Maybe I am, I'm just going with how it seems to have been done according to my own personal biases on this figure.

Do I think it's a good transforming figure? Absolutely
Do I think it's a good representation of The Fallen, or Megatronus? No I don't

Even if that is the case, it doesn't stop it brom being a great Fallen figure for people who like it. You can just ignore the PCC aspect of it and like it for what it is. This would be a must for me seeing as I don't have any PCCs save the Dinos and the Decepticon firetruck dude (blanking on the name now).

I think it's a pretty good theory. The Fallen has nothing to do with combiners and he DOES have an alt mode (revealed in MTMTE), which doesn't really look like this one's alt. mode.

No it's a scratch mold that turns into two upgrades for crappy Hasbro figures.

Well, at least now we know why they made the thing a parts former duocon.

The PCC integration does nothing for me, but if they release this in the Fallen's colors, I will preorder it instantly.

I'd like a 3rd party (or, hell, official Hasbro) Fallen that looks like that, and I like the idea of upgrades to the PCCs (actual limbs that transform into robots would be cool, but I'd settle for limbs that look like limbs) like this seems to be. Not sure I like them all being mushed together in one package. Will need to see more.

Just saw this on TFW, apparently the image is in a booklet packed in with Green Giant (confirmation)? Surprised no one's made mention of it yet, as it's packed full of awesome. Could do without the smoke effects though... unless that's an action feature. Kind of dumb for them to tease this... I'll definitely be passing on the military-colored version of the figure and wait for this instead.

that looks pretty cool. Would have to see more, as well as prices, but...maybe.
