I too am tired of paying up front, and paying more as well. I do still buy from Kapow now and then, but have been placing more orders through TFSource, who give me the option of paying now, or later, and even with international shipping, as usually cheaper and not much slower to deliver either.

Ok. I definitely want this guy, but I need a couple of checks first.

How is Maketoys in terms of quality/solidity and joints?

Any UK collectors, is TFSource better than Kapow? Craggy, you're UK based, right?

Do we know when other sites are setting up the pre-order for this?

I have Battle Tanker, and their Seaspray and Powerglide. No complaints about the quality of any of the pieces. All nice and solid, paint and joints all as they should be. Only tiny problems I have are along the lines of "I wish it had this/this was a different colour/etc" or "Powerglide why u have a screw in your forehead?". Quality products.

and yep UK-based here. I bought a couple things off TFScource that I simply couldn't get anywhere else. They were quick, and not overly expensive with the shipping costs. Sure, they charge more than Kapow do, and take a tad longer (week and half-2 weeks-ish vs 3-8days with Kapow depending on posties) but the prices are much better. Haven't gotten anything off them that I've pre-ordered yet, but have the MP Cassettes set up to come when they're released, for about a fiver less than the unshipped price on Kapow. Got the FP and Asia Bruticus repaints ordered too, but shipping them as a set, still for less than Kapow would probably be, if they even had the Munitioner and Explorer recolours up.
Don't get me wrong, Kapow have done me well in the past, and I still buy stuff from them (Thundertron, a few weeks back) but if TFSource takes your fancy they've been good too. Of course, as yet, TFSource don't have Chaos up for pre-order.

TFSource (who still don't have it for pre-order) will take Pay Later. the MP Cassettes are on that for me.

I'm holding off until someone else at least puts a pre-order up to compare, Kapow are not even close to being cheapest on a lot of stuff at present and i really do hate giving them the money and suffering while other stores get their stock and K don't sometimes for months after (Green Giant and your £270 ass I'm looking at you......)

Meh, funds are honestly going in enough directions in December. For the moment that's still really close. Not too long ago a 3rd party preorder meant it'd happen some time within this year (maybe).

True, but if they got another run of Yellow Giant to get through January may prove to be optimistic too. This just went on the "buy at the time" list.

Hm. Price is much lower than Kapow (£65 vs £80), but with shipping I'm sure it'll average out. So far, I don't feel bad.

Was looking at the MakeToys website (in translation), and came across this for Paladin/Chaos:

Was released in January, due to be released on November production was Sidenote: November 19.

It's been delayed. So, instead of a December release, it's going to be (albeit, tentatively) released by mid to late January.

Ok, let me try this again.

When I pre-ordered, I knew it was going to be released in December.

Then it was delayed till January.

The note on the website is a recent addition (unless I've been skipping over it), is it just confirming the (potential) January release? What has November got to do with it?

Nov 19th was when it was posted - the delay.
