...they really don't fool around. Could be just a coincidence, but we all know Ratchet is being killed off in AOE, and it appears as though he is completely absent from all exterior packaging and menu screens from the Animated Series DVD set.

All I can say is he'd better stick around in the comics, (not too worried as he is a favourite of both James Roberts and John Barber.

I doubt movieverse Ratchet's death will have long reaching repercussions in the other continuities.

Ah, who gives a crap about Animated, anyway?

They don't even understand what the title of Prime means. It means Leader of All slagging Autobots, a role which Ultra Magnus could never fill, by the way, because it's out of character for him. He has leadership ability, but the great tragedy of his character is that he's too humble to ever accept leadership.

Well that universe works differently than the other universes, and that Magnus didn't have G1 Magnus' set of character flaws but in fact a different set. Plus I like the changing up where Prime was a rank and Magnus was the leader. Eh but to each their own.

What if king was just a rank while the Duke ruled the country?

Makes no slagging sense, does it?

Neither did Animated. Prime means leader, slagwads.

Of course it doesn't make sense if you apply G1 rules to it. However it isn't G1. So in animated universe Magus is above Prime (since one of Primes meaningsis connected to 1 you could say it means first in line) or to use your example Duke is above King. Now when in their universe please observe and honor their customs and traditions. :)

Also how do the thirteen primes fit with your theories?

Typical of the US military to make a huge blunder like killing one of their greatest Autobot allies!
