Sunday I picked up the Sonic Storm Iron Man and the grey-ish/light blue War Machine. That one with the huge cannon that you posted over the summer DISCHARGE.

Very nice.
I noticed at the Maxx today they had a glossy black repaint of Destroyer called Inferno Destroyer. While looking great I wasn't shopping for myself and I left him :-(

Long time, bros.

I know this isn't MArvel Universe actual, but today I saw some of the Iron Man 3 Assemblers, and they look pretty bad. You can switch arms and legs with different figures, so the idea is if you have enough of them you can make totally customizable armors. I just don't really see the point. They don't even have knees and elbows.

i seen these today.
I passed and picked up FOC Soundblaster instead.

I also seen the TRU MU light up base figures. The bases form a ring. The Black Widow looked real good, so did the Black Panther fig. Again, Soundblaster ;)

Hey all thought you might like to see my review of the Daredevil/Bullseye comic set. This is an awesome set and I feel the best comic pack to date. I can highly recommend this to Joe and Marvel fans alike. If you like this I have other Marvel reviews on my channel

Long time for me, too.
And yeah, I'm really disappointed with these. It seems like they've replaced the standard action figures with the Assemblers, which is total BS to me because it's more money for less articulation. I'm content with the universal 3.75" figure line, and with Iron Man 2 they came with nice little display stands. However, I experienced horrible distribution in my area and I only really saw the first wave...which has remnants sitting on the pegs at my local Target as we speak. I really hope Hasbro comes out with a regular series soon. I guess I get the customization...but they just look mismatched if you trade parts.

Same here. I was able to get a few IM2 figures that I wanted off BBTS.

The IM2 line has some terrific figures in it. I understand the custom armor gimmick of the IM3 line, but yeah, I imagine it's just going to look terribly mismatched in the end.

MU related, yesterday I found a Blaastar. He's got translucent hand and forearms, but his card picture shows them being painted. Not sure if this means there's a variant out there.

Yup That's the variant. The normal version has solid limbs

I would love to find some new figures.
Been a while since I've looked around.
Did go out last week. I'd seen the 3 pack
at TRU w/ War Machine,Hawkeye and Mockingbird.
That was it for new(er) stuff.
They still had only like 4 regular figures(allIronMan), with a sale
of 2 for $15 or somthin. What a bust.
They dont even stock em at the Walmart
nearest me. :(

Anyway, good find Dagon.
I had found a whole rack of the
Dr Strange variant, stupid me only
bought one!
Also heard there was an Electro with
the same variant as the Blaastar,
but I never found it.
Also, I never found the regular Vision, just
the clear one. But several times too, haha. Weird.

Variants are sometimes hard to find due to cases not fully being loaded out or employees keeping those figures for themselves. You're correct that there was a clearish variant of Electro way back when. I was able to hit TRU last Friday and I got the Black Suit Spiderman White suit Doom comic set and unfortunately that was all I could get from MU since TRU has really jacked the prices up. Anybody know if that Spiderman uses the new, good body mold? Also is the Doom the same figure from the Secret Wars set or the newer one that used the Ultron body? I saw the WCA, Inhumans, and 90's Xmen sets but couldn't justify buying them. The War Machine looked so good with the pear white finish. Almost forgot, how sweet is that new Captain America using the new body mold?

Do you mean the Steve Rogers figure.

Man, I like that white Doom so much, but I can't justify TRU comic pack prices. Or comic pack prices in general. I think it was last summer I got the Thanos and Mr. Sinister comic packs (they were two seperate ones, not like those guys in the same pack) at Walmart for I think $14 and that was the only reason I'd bought them. At that time they were $5 cheaper than Target prices, and I can't even tell you what TRU charges.

So, I've never really been in to the MU variant hunting, how 'rare' are variants, and does that make it worth keeping Blaastar sealed, since I haven't had a chance to open him up yet.

My problem is I already have Thanos but really want that Adam Warlock and Sinister but not the figure it came with. Although there's that Xmen set floating around...

Just wanted to give a heads up. TRU is having a clearance
I noticed the 6 pack with the X-Men an Apocalypse and Sinister
was marked down to $35.
I was in Cedar Rapids Iowa so they may not
have one near anyone else. A great chance to pick this set up
at a good price :)

I fell behind for a wave or two due to real world happenings. Even had to let my TF buying go for awhile.
But I've got about 90%+ of this lines main standard figures, not counting variants. If you could get it on a peg then I most likely have it.

It's a solid line!! One I really like, even more so now that they are expanding into a few more C list characters. Darkhawk, Cloak&Dagger for example.

Waiting on Man-Thing!!

Hate to tell you that after 2013 the MU line as we know it has ended. From what I understand starting with the new X-Men movie they're going to do themed waves of the 4" figures. I'm trying to get Black Knight and Omega Red since I was into those characters back in the day.

Ending it, well it was a good run. Would've been perfect with a Man-Thing though!!

When you say 4" do you mean 3.75" or are they doing a full on 4" line now?

I mean 3.75" but they haven't been that size for awhile. It's easier to say 4" scale now.

I'll be getting some of the Captain America figures in a day or two so I'll be able to tell you how they are

Forgive the derail, but PlayArts is doing a marvel line. Ironman and Spiderman are up first.
