Haven't played the demo yet, but finding myself in an odd mental state. I found nothing intriguing about the original's premise so held off on playing it. Picked it up in value bin, beat it, was so wowed that I immediately bought the 2nd and played it through. Despite enjoying it highly, I can't seem to get excited about number 3. go fig. :-?

I made a promise to myself: I'd only get ME3 if it was on Steam. Cue Bioware announcing it would be on every online retailer except Steam. I'm not one to quit on a franchise over something so petty, but this is actually really disappointing.

I read that there are going to be 2 parts of the single player mode and a MP mode on the demo.

I'm a brick-and-mortar store type person, so I consider that a plus.

It is good. I just wish they just made ME 1 for PS3. I've played it for 360 which was got me into the series. Read the codex and fell inlove with the backstory so I baught the first 3 novels and got ME2 for PS3. But oh well. There's always youtube. I wanna play the MP part of the demo but I guess that's not up yet

I know what you mean. While I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 3 I don't have the same hype I had for Mass Effect 2 and after some thinking about it I think I feel a little bittersweet for it. I think it's safe to say that will be another Mass Effect game down the road, but for me Mass Effect 3 is it. The end of an incredible journy for me. It helped rekindled my love of sci-fi, comics, video games, and even The Transformers.

But it's the end for my 25 Shepards. I'n not saying that I won't buy a Mass Effect 4 or a spin-off game, but I doubt I'll buy the day it comes out.

So I decided to stop playing the demo. Mainly because I'm still trying to platinum ME2. I just can't wait 'till the game comes out though. Trying to stop a Reaper invasion is pretty much going to be the second most intense thing I'll probably ever see. Just under fighting the anti-spirals in Gurren Lagann. You think in ME3, we could see the origin of the Reapers? And at the end of ME2, with the reaper made out of humans, you'd think the other reapers would've been made from the Rachni. But as Sovereign said "We have no beginning. We have no end. We are infinite. Millions of years after your civilization has been eradicated and forgotten, we will endure." If you ask me, Sovereign seems a bit conceted with the whole "we are god" thing. So was Harbinger. I'm guessing all Reapers are this cocky about themselves.

The Reapers have been at this far longer than the existence of the Rachni. It's possible the Reapers (Though because of the timing, just Sovereign) kicked off the Rachni Wars though indoctrination of the Rachni Queens, but there's nothing to suggest that the Rachni were used to make a Reaper.

I know that. It was just an observation. Because at the end of ME2, they said that the human reaper looked human because it was made out of humans. So you see where I come from when I say they look like the Rachni. But I also threw that Sovereign quote up to show they were not made from the Rachni, but came before. I just hope we do somehow get to see the origin of the Reapers.

So now there's going to be DLC for the game for when it's released call "From Ashes". You will be able to have a Prothean on your team. So now I wonder what this guys excuse will be on why he's good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd8kiDZeiqE

That'll be interesting, seeing as he'll be anciently old unless he's been in cryo sleep or something. Cool though, seeing as I've got the CE on preorder.

Did they send out any PS3 versions? All I've seen about that were 360 ones.

I don't know. I think you can tell them what version you want or something. I honestly don't know.

Charge was made of Win and Awesome in ME2. If it weren't for the cooldown timer, it would have been the only move I used.

If you have your weapons right in MP the cooldown on BC is about 1 second, so yeah, it's pretty overpowered.
