6 new molds would be awesome but i don’t see that happening for a few reasons.

1. they would have to release a new mold every 2 months and as you can see with past MP release dates with the time they are announced that’s very unlikely. If they already have the 6 prepared right now and all they have to do is show it off a little and release it then sure

2. that’s a lot of money to put into at once. Even collectors would have a tough time buying a $60-100 figure consecutively and that’s if it’s hasbro. if it’s takara that’s waaay more expensive. imagine buying soundwave 6 times...holy crap. and that’s on top of the other transformer lines-FOC & Prime

3. which brings me to my next point there is sooooo much going on this year and next year with transformers their hands are way too full. to be honest i kind of wish they’d slow down. as i said before there’s a lot being released already and i’m having trouble keeping up. although i’ve been trying to catch up with past lines of TF source so maybe it’s just me

Yeah, I can only qualify my statement as wishful thinking, I've thought of at least two of those three constraints, and my own wallet would not accommodate six-plus MP figures in a year. Still, there are so many characters I want to see an MP treatment of before the line is inevitably discontinued. I'll just maintain my excitement to see who is next up to bat...

i wouldn’t worry about it being discontinued. they rake in a ton of money and there’s never really any worry of them being shelf warmers especially since they barely last an hour on the shelves. not to mention every pre-order is also filled in less than a day. my only worry is certain characters may not seem masterpiece worthy to Has/Tak. For example as i’ve said having both Sunstreaker and Sideswipe together would be amazing, but Sunstreaker might not have stood out enough for Has/Tak to care. In fact i don’t recall Sunstreaker ever talking i’m sure he did but nothing comes to mind. Plus other than G1 has Sunstreaker ever been in another show? Do i give a damn? hell no he still looks really awesome and compliments Sideswipe really well. Both Sideswipe and Red Alert have been in numerous TF shows so i can see why they were chosen

pre-orders on some sites have been updated..

Sideswipe looks to be early October, Soundwave late NOV/Early December, and Red Alert is late Dec/Early Jan.

I would love to see a Prowl, Wheeljack and Jetfire/Skyfire MP sets that are scaled properly with Optimus Prime. But any G1 MP that comes out and is not a repaint/reissue would be great.

Where's the repaint value?

Nissan deal will give us:
Bluestreak
Prowl
Smokescreen

Expect to see another two or three repaints of Sideswipe. If Takara can expect us to pay $300 for a figure of Prime's corpse, Deepcover and Clampdown are more than reasonable expectations, then there's Tigertracks, G2 Sidewipe etc etc

Coneheads:

Ramjet
Thrust

Theoretically, we could get 9 figures from just 2 molds, I'm not holding my breath for all 5 Dinobots, Magnus, maybe, but not until they've milked the MP10 mold to an inch of it's life.

I'm just hoping for either the remaining two seekers in their V2 "de-Kawamori-fied" version molds, and Sunstreaker.

they've done 6 moulds this year: Soundwave, Rumble/Frenzy, Ravage, Laserbeak, Sideswipe and...ummm...Optimus?

I picked up the Hasbro MP Optimus, Hasbro Thundercracker and Takara MP Sideswipe (Lamborg).

Here's who I'd love to see:

1) Shockwave - Very underrepresented in toy lines considering what a popular character he is. MP Shockwave would sell well for sure.

2) Hound - An MP size Jeep mold would be awesome.

3) Galvatron - I'd love to have an MP Glavatron to put next to my MP Megatron

3) Dinobots - Who wouldn't want MP versions of Slag, Swoop, Snarl and Sludge?

4) MP Megatron - It might be time to make another Megs that's more in scale with MP 10.

I'm praying for a Megatron Version 2, mainly. What would be cool is if they had the initiative to make Punch/Counterpunch.
