Maximals and Predacons: the First Generation's present...

...your heads on a plate.

Whilst you were off having your historical war for the Dogfood matrix or whatever, we (...well, *I*) decided now was the best time to go on the offensive.

So, I recruited the Decepticons AND Autobots into a contest to see which one of the two factions could destroy you the quickest during the 3 rounds of your tourney and offered each faction a €100,000 prize to be shared between the winners.

They were briefed to stop you, wherever they could, however they could.

Neither faction disappointed.
Linked below are the score threads that were placed in both Iacon and Darkmount where the kills were requested, moved to GD so you can all see they were counted fairly.

These are the final results:

Image 442

Click on the faction icon to see the scorethread from each of the 2 factions, and know that you were defeated by your elders and betters.
And then again single-handedly by Halo and Chronic.

The individual breakdown goes like this:
:BOT:
vaporretarder: 46 (winner €50,000)
Dragonslayer: 29 (winner €30,000)
Kickyourassacons: 26 (winner €20,000)
Evolution Prime: 16
Electron: 15
ProwlJazz: 11
Thunder Maximus: 11
MegaZ: 5
ashe5k: 2
MagnusLabel: 1

:CON:
Chronic: 175 (winner €40,000)
Halo: 106 (winner €30,000)
Editor: 69 (winner €15,000)
slip: 56 (winner €15,000)
Chaoslock: 16
Omega Charge: 12
Backslide: 8

Read it and weep, vermin.

(Congratulations and thanks to all who took part from both factions regardless of your scores - but especially to the bots who had to put up with me invading their sanctuary to bring them this game due to lack of active 'bot mods. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
Bots, your payment will be with you as soon as OS allows, Cons are being paid as you read this...)

Always have been, and always will be.

During round 4 and 5 every G1 vs. Beast mission which fall within the valid range will be counted. For now, relics, just be prepared for the beatings you'll receive. In the past month I have not lost one mission to any G1 adversary, you and Hammerstein included Chronic. I don't intend to change that.

Beasts, there is a reason for this - watch the threads to see why.

I think they count arena kills to. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. Because I almost never seen G1 missions

Thats right.

But if you look through the game threads, there were a fair number of mission kills too.

Does this mean we're getting the G1 missions back?

*edit* Nevermind. I know the answer to that. Just woke up so I'm more confused then normal.

just wondering what's goin on with the prize money for this little beastie kill-fest,...not that I'm hurting for the 50,000, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a brawn blaster or two for my bots :-)

As Psychout stated, Autobots have to wait for OS to step in and do the energon transfer.

And if you don't like that, well you've only got yourselves to blame! It wouldn't hurt an Autobot or two to step up and maybe (help) run these little contests. ;;)

That's cool i figured there was some go-between that needed to be done since it was an inter-faction energon transfer.

As for an autobot to step up and run something like this, how many 'bots are there that are actual mods on here anyways?....I've seen maybe one or two myself,...but then again, I haven't been looking FOR them, and I've only been here a handful of months anyways.

:-)

Staff positions are based on dedication and skillz as opposed to faction. I'm on the staff to run tourneys both now and in V2, Burn is the economics guru for the new game, and it's coincidence that we're both well known 'cons.

You really dont need to be a mod to run games and stuff in Iacon, you just need to have the balls to step up, take the risk and see if people join in, its how we did it in Darkmount for years before Burn and I got promoted.

In the new game it will be a more straightforward, but there are rewards out there for those who are willing to put the time in and run stuff now, they just have to be earned...

Just don't ask what the rest are for, we're still trying to work that out ourselves. :P

And if people are curious, we will be helping each other out. I think JP's got Psychout's back with the tournaments but he knows to give me a nudge if he needs a help with things just like I won't hesitate to ask for help if I need it.
