Ok, there's a good reason I'm not posting this as news. Quite frankly, I can't make out what I'm looking at well enough to go front paging it.

So, check this out and let the discussions run wild.

For all I or anyone else knows this could be a friggin zoid or some power ranger reject or even a mish mash lego thingy.

But hey, maybe it IS something new

Thanks to yizhi521 of TF08.net we have our first photos of what appears to be the "Revenge of the Fallen" Soundwave figure.

The photos are blurry, and it is difficult to determine if it is indeed Soundwave (reported to be a satellite) - or if it is even a ROTF figure, but the design aesthetic fits.

It seems a bit premature to say that this is a Movie Transformer or that it's Soundwave.
Granted, the figure in the middle picture seems to have some sort of Laserbeak resting on his shoulder.
But that's just my opinion.

The other pictures don't seem to actually *be* anything, do they?
One seems like a crab, and the other seems like a Gundam or something.
Or do I need new contact lenses?

Either way, it seems like a cool find.
If it's genuine, I'm not keen on what I'm seeing in the design.
If it's fake (or just not a Movie TF), I'm a little more open to it.

I can see how this might be a charater from the movie, but this looks A LOT like a bionicle to me. Look at the knees, thay're the same as the toa inika. Plus, it does't really look like itcould transform, or do much of anything really. But I geuss we'll see....

Whether or not this is valid, it makes me realize that Soundwave's satellite mode may not be terrestrial - it may be his cybertronian form.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Well, I was going to post that and saw your post so it's good to have someone else that agrees with me (arguably it's the other way round but I don't care). The feet actually look like Movie Blackout though and some of it's parts look a little less like a Bionicle's to me. However, these photos look to be from someone's home so they could just be purposely blurry and actually be a Bionicle or some type of un-hard-modded kitbash, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, looks like mishmash of different movie toy parts. Primes head, Megatrons chest, and Starscreams legs with his hands stuck on the shoulders. Either way this guy needs a new camera.

Ok, I just took some time to actually look at the photos and... does anyone see a beast head on it's shoulder?! It reminds me of that thing from that Duel Masters show... the giant dark lion thing. Except it's more skinnier and also reminds me of TM2 Megatron. Plus, is it just me or is that really Optimus Prime's head on it? I really do think it looks like Movie Prime's head!

I went to post this and UltraPrimal beat me to it... Yea, it looks like Megatron's chest because it has the automorph gimmick piece as far as I can tell. It DOES look like a mishmash. Hopefully... oh no... I hope they haven't actually made Soundwave like this and he uses parts of other TF's to make himself. Eh, I doubt it.

pictures blurry...... i say they have been taken with cellphone camera.

looks like megatron figure to me with some minor modifications and a prime head to add to it better CLEAER pictures would help decide pictures look like they where taken like this on perpouse to have everyone decieved into thinking this is soundwave.

show me clear picture better than this ill take back what i said if proven wrong.

I don't know what it is. The blurryness of the picture makes it hard to identify.

Perhaps it is a mock-up for a new movie toy. Because the huge silver "spikes" don't look factory.

in my humble opinion, this is atotal, 100% kitbash with no real link to the movie. No way can you get photo quality that bad Unintentionally, plus its posed on assorted household items. Move along, there's nothin to see here people.

squinting real hard i see the torso looks almost too much like starscream. the chest is wide at the biceps but gets slender at the abdomen and that orangey spot is the same place as starscream's cockpit. the legs bear a slight resemblance to starscream's as well though the whole thing is a bit more humanoid. i don't know what to make of it after all that. is it starscream? dose soundwave look like starscream for some reason? is it an unnamed seeker in cybertron mode?

i was going to say that it looks like an unnamed seeker -but someone beat me to it. The next post is even better --it could be the prime/jetfire hybrid. This could be a total spoof, this guy's camera can't be that bad, even if it's an old camera phone, it'll at least have 1+MP to mess around with it. The resolution was probably downgraded on purpose -too grainy
