No amount of modding will bake a decent Warpath out of a centaur.

They look similar in style due to Don having been working on these for almost two years, basically the TF stuff he's done is just prototype stuff for this.

Actually, I would like to see more inhuman and out there transformers.

Not every Real Robot's a Gundam, a Valkyrie or an Arm Slave. :???:

There'll probably be more, what with the fourth movie coming.

I really want that stuff but the prototype of that mech is really expensive looking. I can't imagine being able to pay more than $30 for that thing :-(

I love how Don not only took advantage from his influences, but evolve them into something entirely new. Just like him becoming a pro and now making his own creations. It´s been a long way for a fan artist.

Hopefully you guys recognize a few of the names in the credits as well, such as voices by Jon Bailey (Jon 3.0) and Frank Todaro (TF Cog), as well as music by Alex Kurilov (who did the soundtrack to my animated War Within episode 2).

There's several other board members who are part of this project in one way or another.

Wow, the figures look amazing. I can't say I'm all that impressed by the comic, but the figures are extremely impressive. I can't see myself getting into collecting them as I already have too many collections, but those are works of art.

Looks good, but then again almost everything Don does looks good.

Like most mecha, I'll oggle them, but I'll not be getting them due to space/price reasons.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who initially thought "not Transformers - not interested".. but it was a good call to show as much as they have. Impressive, some really nice designs, great to see the evolution of a very talented TFs artist, and I think they're into something with what seems like a lot of combining potential between the figures... (especially with the recent ratbat/frenzy, ravage/rumble 'combiners' that are so lame, it's annoying..)

blinkered as I am, still not sure I'll be able to shake off the not Transformers - not interested thing though.. ;)

Just consider these guys as some human faction, or paint there faces green and call them aliens. I definitely want atleast a few them, especially the centaur. The treads on the legs such a sick idea.

Freaking Awesome...
Just three things...

1. Will these be manufactured here in the U.S.?
2. Will there be a website for a new fandom to congregate?
3. Will the toys be available through popular etailers like BBTS?

Nooooo, I should have made my post a little clearer!

I only drew an obvious comparison to Generations Warpath and the that rendering of Don's, one might say he actually borrowed from Hasbro on that one? :-$

But yeah, you can clearly see Don's way of thinking with those Mech's and his TF work.
If i could lay my hands on a pic of Don's transformers covers, especially the ones of Hotrod I'd post it for a side by side viewing? :-B
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/decepticons-rise-up-transformers-ongoing-7-reviewed/18705/
Ooh, try this one!? :-?

Hasbro constantly borrows alt-mode designs and concepts, and bot-mode design elements so why shouldn't Don?
And ther eare just so many ways one can designs an H-tank, which wasn't invented by Hasbro.

These won't really mix well with transformers, as they are clearly of an exceedingly higher quality, but you could easily just say they're Skywatch suits or something.

These look very promising. I don't normally collect anything outside of TF, but I may have to pull the trigger on these. Especially since I can get in on the ground floor.

Maybe not but there is no mistaking the influence of the Macross Alpha and Beta Fighters styling or that of the Armored Cyclone design.
I'm happy to see that someone else noticed the similarities because they practically jumped out at me as soon as I started scrolling through the pictures.

Well, yeah... but that's a duh. You're already famous, like Enrico Galli and Thomas Mauer. Folks here "should" recognize you in the same way they recognize Don's name.

Now I just need to figure out two things: how much these figures will cost, and where they will be available (online shops only? Or would it be possible to see something like this in a Wal-Mart?XD ). I hope these won't cost me an arm and a leg, because I want this SO badly now!

Seeing as how these look pretty high quality and are apparently aimed at collectors, I'm guessing they will be quite expensive. I'm also guessing you will only be able to find them online and possibly at comic book/hobby shops if your local one does that kind of thing. They will probably come in alternate scales as well, I cannot imagine them all being so enormous.

Any day I get a new email from Don with new art and designs of his latest mech ideas is like Christmas morning. Writing Armarauders comic is like playing in Don Figueroa's sandbox -- and he's got a lot of kick-ass toys in his sandbox. ;)

i like these, although not necessary transformers i am seeing major customization possibilities that may be able to tie into transformers. Depending on the cost we may even have more comic based version of are transformers figures.
