My favorites were Mask and Dino Riders. I remember playing with them so hard that quite a few of them had to be superglued back together. Ahh, fond memeroies indeed.

I also never missed Robotech but for some reason I was never able to get any of the toys from that line, and the Yamato Valkries are just too damn expensive.

Every time the theme song hits for those old shows, I'm a kid on Saturday morning watching them in pajamas and eating a bowl of cereal before going out. Memories... *Sigh*

I've got a lot of my old G1 toys and even a Robotech Zentraedi(sp) mech.

Man, I miss the '80's!! Saturday mornings just aren't the same like they use to be. I'm happy the HUB is showing Jem. I still got my Jem doll too!! I miss watching He-Man. I use to have all those figs as a kid but then my mom got rid of them all. I hated it!! Anyone watch TMNT or The Real Ghostbusters?? I use to be big into them as a kid too. The '80's was a good decade for me. The time when kids would go outside to play. You don't see that much these days.
Long live the Decepticons!! I love G1 Starscream!!

Don't tell Starscream, but I'm in love with movieverse Ironhide! ;)

I watched He-Man, Transformers, Bravestarr, and so forth..

Yes I did watch Ghost Busters, in fact, I was watching teletoon retro a few hours ago and I was taken back to my childhood when I was watching Ghost Busters, I couldn't believe I remembered watching this episode as a child..it was the boogie man episode..I was just in aw for real that I would recall watching something over 20 years ago..

Does anyone remember M.A.S.K. or SilverHawks? Damn there were so many cartoons back then..

I vaguely remember SilverHawks. But I can say, I still own to this day a Silverhawk toy I got in a happy meal. It was a toy that you could use to see around corners. I use to use it like crazy to spy on my parents, hahaha.

Yeah.. I have tons of those ripped from youtube on my home PC..
Great memories of a "simpler" time.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
No, I am not friendly online or in real life.
I look forward to attending a Botcon only to settle matters with idiots in person.

I Think I would actually enjoy this. Downplay the "Magic" powers of the M.A.S.K.s (or get rid of them altogether) and focus on some changing cars (with actual props, not cgi) and I think you'd have something.

You wouldn't even need much of a plot. Bad guy in a Helicopter fight dudes in cars that fly and have guns. Explosions. I'd watch it.

My younger brother and I were living in the New Orleans area during the early eighties. I was around 14 (old enough to mow lawns for cash... lol)when the Transformers came to the small screen. Luckily enough, a small shop on the West Bank in N.O. actually carried Diaclone pre-TFs... needless to say, my kid brother had some serious bragging rights. pre-Megatron, Diaclone Starscream, as well as an early Reflector come immediately to mind. These and other cool toys - Macross, Gundam, and those God-awful D&D (in)action figures were around our house a good 3 months before the Transformers made their way to local shops... good times, indeed. :APPLAUSE:
...back in my day, you had one alt-mode. ONE! Articulation? why, if you had enough articulation to transform, you had plenty. And if you wanted more articulation, you know what you did about it? NOTHING. You transformed, stood there with your faceplate closed, and your optics sharp, just like everybody else who didn't have ball-jointed this, and swivel-jointed that. And when your were told to, you transformed and rolled out! ...And another thing...
