Michael Bay Blog Update: Possible TF3 Filming Locations

Have you got a craving for big explosions? Do you want more glimpses at Megan Fox? Want to see more Autobots and Decepticons going mano a mano? And finally, do you live in the Midwest/Eastern US? Well then today's your lucky day, as the third Transformers movie in the Bayverse looks to be well on schedule, and may be filming in your city! In his latest website update, Mr. Bay hints that he's looking to film in three possible American cities - Chicago, Detroit, and Washington. He also hinted that the script for the third movie is much different from the second. After spending much work scouting the cities, Bay laid out a helping hand with the Haiti Disaster Relief. Hello everyone,
Busy scouting - Chicago, Detroit, and Washington D.C. for Transformers last week. Things are going well. The script is feeling very different from the other two. I ended my scout down in Miami this weekend to load my plane with 14 Florida Surgeons, specialists in various fields and flew them down to Haiti. We then returned with a planeload of a team of exhausted Miami Fire rescue. It is proving very difficult for these volunteers to get back home.
They say the news hardly gives the true scope of what really happened. They really feel about 500,000 probably died. One of the worst stories I heard from people down there - because of the huge lack of education in Haiti – when the earthquake struck – everyone ran inside buildings most likely to their graves. The state of Florida is really pulling their weight in this massive effort. Here some pics:

Hmm... sounds interesting. The script sounds pretty good. I`m SO going to see TF3. I wonder if Bay next puts up a title for the movie...

Haiti, TF3, Filming in the Midwest... So much to absorb! Anyway, this Bot is glad to see Bay step down from his Ivory Tower of Awesome Stuff to help out those in need. As far as the TF3 Script goes, I'll just wait till I see the movie or read the Book to comment.

How does the script sound good? Were did you read anything about the script?

Those all sound like the areas used in the ROTF game. Mostly DC sounds the most familiar.

I live a half hour from Chicago, if he picks it...my butt is gonna be stained to the city till they're done filming!
Also, from previous stories, after the second film, hasbro hopped on board with the script to make it right and better then the second, so hopefully its great!

While I am happy to read TF3 news, I was quite impressed with Bay's humanitarian efforts. Sure he gets a lot of flak, but he's not afraid to speak his mind, tell the truth, apologize, or even make fun of himself. I doubt a gazillion McG's could match his integrity. THANK YOU MICHAEL BAY.

'Different from the first two?' Well, #2 was a heck-of-a-lot different than #1; the sequel didn't have the magic of the original, really...
But nice to read that Bay's lending a hand to those in need; kudos needed!
