Then there's not problem at all being dumped into the sea.

Which is why they'll surely come out alive again. At the most dramatic moment.

That's true, and if you think about it, it is as the same way that happens to Nemesis, dumped in the sea... and then... Ramjet, Thrust, Dirge... that has potential; as long as Seaspreay does not rescue them

The pressure per square inch of all these punishments are way above the kind of pressure they will take on under the deepest ocean.

But it's a constant pressure. Under constant pressure most things tend to go crunch.

Large instantenous pressure over a small area, or impact force, is dealier than constant pressure applied over a large area.

This first will create instant destruction. While the second slowly eats away. Obviously, the latter is much more tolerable.

I take your point about huge amounts of force on a tiny area, but ultimately it's all about Pounds per Square Inch. A high velocity bullet impacts at about 1175.407 ft-lb (from this cool page: http://www.xmission.com/~fractil/math/kp.html). That sucks if it hits you. But, the pressure at the deepest part of the ocean is 108 MPa, or 15,660 pounds of force per square inch of surface. That's crazy, the atmosphere we're all in now is about 15 pounds per square inch.

I like Jazz as much as the next guy, but let him stay dead, it gives the series more of an impact that way.

No, it does not give the series more of an impact. They barely used Jazz in the movie, and he is totally different from the G1 Jazz. So when he died, people were just like "Oh one of the autobots died, what was his name? Whatever, next scene.".

Now if you wanted emotional impact, they should have killed Bumblebee. People had the most emotional attachment to him because he was the sweetest, caring, and most brave little soldier that could. So to kill him off, it stabs the audience straight in the heart and sends the kiddies home crying to bed. And the death needs to be extended and dramatic with Sam looking on in slow motion going "NOOOOOOO!!". Now how is THAT for impact you guys? Perfect. In fact why not just kill off every single Autobot by TF3? It will show the reality that the bad guys(Decepticons), really do reign supreme in the end. Then it will truly be an experience the audience will never forget.

DenNukem,I somewhat agree with ya.But lets not kill everyone. #-o We should have five 'new generation' warriors. They could have up to five guys. Here are some.

1)Hot Shot:He's a QUITE cool character(but not as cool as Jazz). But he's still decent and packs quite some shots. He could easily replace Bumblebee(being Sam's new partner as they both have speeds)or perhaps Jazz.

2)Red Alert:Obviously,he could replace Ratchet. #-o

3)Jetfire:For heaven's sake, get air powers autobots.GET A HELL AIR POWERS!!!This guys packs a few punch and could replace Jazz or Ironhide.

4)Smokescreen or Landmine:These two are quite powerful and could replace Ironhide.

5)Vector Prime or Rodimus Prime:These two,are obviously used to replace Optimus. #-o
