And before anyone even gets the urge to go nuts. Keep it civilized if you're going to get angry.

As much as I'd hate to admit it, I have to agree with him about the blockiness. Maybe not the fake part, but the boring part. Just wished he did something a little more terrestrial.

Im with Bay 100% 30ft blocky robots would be boring and unrealistic, I think a 1000 parts is much more visually impressive and stunning to see in a movie.

And not showing too much in the trailers is pretty smart, you dont want all the action of a movie to be shown in just the trailer

Yes, terrestrial. Perfect adjective to describe 35 foot tall alien robots 9_9

WTF is with this thing about being able to watch the video if you live outside the US?! Seriously! WTF? And it's not just MTV. CN and NBC won't let so watch episodes on their sites too. This really pisses me off! Why is this?

I figure it's because they don't want to cut the video 400 different ways to accompany different censorship laws in different countries.

I'm in New Zealand and I could see it.

Anyway, I'm glad he's handling it tbh. I could have all gone so wrong if a "big fan" of the show had done it instead. I'll always remember Danny Cannon waxing on about how much of a Judge Dredd fan he was blah blah blah and he get's the gig directing it and stuffs it up. A bit of distance is sometimes what's needed.

The thing that confuses me is when he says fans hated the stripes on Prime?? No, we hate the flames but it's done now, so...

Overall a pretty good interview.

He listened to us?

If so, at least as far as design is concerned, he didn't care.

I'm sure the action will be great, but I'm still scratching my head over half the designs.

I do give him credit though, he knows how many people are hating him, still he sticks to his guns, and unlike McFarline with Spawn(look in the special features of that DVD), he isn't apologizing for his vision.

As an artist, I can say alright to that.

I don't know if anybody's mentioned this, but it is possible to "listen" & then completely disreguard everything you heard because you believe your idea would be much, much better.

.....just thought I'd throw that out there......

interesting how he seemed to try and dodge the sequel question. Anyone think he might be doubting the success of this thing since it seems that other big budget movies like this have the sequel being written before the first even hits the theaters

No I think he's playing koy. Just by his body language he expects a sequel if not more than one. He's giddy.

Plain and simple for anyone who doesn't like the design and stuff, just don't go watch it...if you got issues, find $.50 and call someone who cares because most of us don't care about complainers....

Seriously blocky is bad, but how about comic style blocky? 1000 pieces to a gun is ridiculous.

Is nobody else seriously concerned about the prospect of Bad Boys III?

The Alternaters could of been used along with the Masterpeices

MP Starscream is very realistic if you never had seen him and saw him only in his plane mode you would think he was a nicely constructed model

I will never agree that they were blocky he was looking at the cartoons not the toys Frenzy looks like the son of General Grevious and is made up of antennas
