We all know the fanbase is pretty sizable, but dont start kidding yourself into thinking that you alone will be able to cause the movie to bomb, there are many more casual fans that there are hardcore fans and we should all just let the box office numbers speak for themselves come july 9th, because they have a nice long weekend to work with. Most people are complaining because the designs arent what they are used to, or that starscream looks like a monkey without even giving anyone a chance to prove that the movie could be remotely good. If someone likes the movie then obviously they have been paid off, or if you like the designs then you arent a true fan because "micheal bay" had something to do with them. Theres a reason that fans get made fun of so much in popular culture(like in Clerks 2) No matter what you are spoonfed you always want to find something to complain about.

You people still don't understand what I'm saying. I'm saying that the fanbase AND everyone else who has been out of the loop for a while will bomb the movie. I, for one, am discouraging people I meet here and there from going to the movie, as some people here should be. If this act of boycott continues, THEN it will most likely bomb. This movie threatens to change Transformers into a TV show about demonic monsters that like to kill army men. As some people have put it, it's a civil war. You're either with Bay, or you're with the purists. *holds out red and blue pills* Take your side.

Seriously, if you don't like what the movie will offer, don't go. If you contribute to the success of something you don't like, you'll never get what you want: getting back to the winning formula. I'm not going and I tell that to any of my friends who ask. Those casual fans will likely not go either.

That's what I have been saying, but it needs more effort than that. We need to tell friends and family to boycott the movie.

Instead of, you know, letting them form their own damn opinions?

And hand over their money to Bay, warranting the return of Bayformers? Never.

So your plan is to force your opinions (of a movie you haven't even seen) on 12 million people against their free will. You'll tell them what they should or should not like, they should have no say.

Sounds like a great plan, just don't let that pesky little killjoy, "common sense", get in your way.
