Motto: "I'm grade-A, 100% prime-cut final boss! I'm going to take over the world any day now!"
Weapon: Multi-Function Sword
This bit of news could mean any number of things though. There could be new designs, but multiples of each one, creating lots. Like a big Matrix style Burly Brawl scene. It all depends on how he defines "lots".

Oh well, it doesn't really give us much insight.

So much needless Michael Bay hate in this thread! Goodness...and here I thought the wait until Transformers 2 would be DIFFERENT. But no, we're already seeing cursing, death threats, whining and sarcasm from the fandom hearing ONE sentence.

Don't ever change guys, it's almost hilarious.

Wow, so many of you are whiney freaks. I'm sure he gets a good lol out of how people throw themselves into despair and undertake ridiculous displays of idiocy after one small statement.

Personally, I have every faith in the man. He gave us an awesome film that revitalised the franchise in a huge way and brought lots of new fans on board. Well done sir, keep up the good work and have a Happy New Year! :APPLAUSE:

As long as the robots get more, or equal, air time as their human counterparts, I'll be happy.

Oh, and keep the hackers from part 1 away. Please?

Unique probably means more crappy and horrible Starscream, Megatron and Frenzy-esque designs

It's easy:

If Michael Bay, or any of the people involved in the movie, say something - IT'S LEGIT.

If something is LEAKED, it's a RUMOUR until we have official proof that proves it's legitimacy.

So wait, if everything Michael Bay says is legit, that means this news is legit, too. Which leaves us with ... rumours?

Read what Bay said, he said he was "going to leak a lot of false information all over the place."

If he SAYS something it's true because he's basically making an official statement. This isn't someone hacking into the ILM mainframe and stealing stuff. If it comes from the man himself, it's legit. If you don't know where it comes from, it's a rumour!

There is a fundamental difference between a STATEMENT and a LEAK.

On the one hand, based on how Hasbro has milked the Movie line so far, if TF2 has lots of TFs, then maybe each one will only be repainted once, instead of, what, 4 or 5 times?? :P But on the other hand, lots of TFs may just mean EVEN MORE characters to repaint a million times. :?

I DO wonder if all the surviving TFs from the first Movie will be in TF2, as well as a whole bunch of new TFs, and if they are, if they'll have the same vehicle modes? It seems unlikely. I mean, Movie Bumblebee (Camaro) is awesome, but I doubt that Hasbro will want to release the same figure again, since "everyone" will already have at least one version from the first Movie.

I agree that the repaints are redundant, but it's not like you have to get them.

Your dollar is your vote, if you spend it on a figure, that tells Hasbro "OK lets do more of that", don't spend it and they'll be less prone to keep doing something.

Now if we can just get through to the completionists, and gift givers who don't know any better, maybe one day they'll take a hint. You know repaints have always been around, but each line just seems to be getting more and more reliant upon them than new figures.

Nice to hear from the fella again. Im sure that they wont lie about things like release dates and such as they need to share such info to get the hype machine rolling. Im sure when he meant they would lie about stuff he meant plot details, who the new characters will be etc etc.

I cant wait to find out who the new bots will be and how many.

I hope this is not one of those sure-fire misleading tricks of wise-crack Michael again.. (A scheme that berates and insults the fans.)

Michael should wise up, give respect for ordinary mortals, and learn to be truthful.

My circuits still sizzles when i remember Michael happily revealing his misleading schemes. :-x
