Finally stopped by the one Target I kept forgetting, on Ford Rd. in Canton. Still has 6 Predakings at $17.48.

And yes, Skywarp is indeed the one Generations deluxe that hasn't disappeared; this Target and the Haggerty 8 Mile store each have one. Glad to see Scoop's more popular than I thought.

Also checked the Tuesday Morning across the street, and all they have left is one FE Starscream and two big ol' Kreo Bumblebees. They had been getting some Thundercats stuff and KOs including the simplified Dairugger Voltron, but nothing of interest to Transfans at the moment.

It certainly seems like Target stores have just been leaving their shelves sit dry more recently. Some Toys R Us stores seem to still be struggling to finish off their DOTM stuff. Man, DOTM didn't really sell all that well. I'm watching diligently for Rattrap and Whirl to show up so I don't miss out on those.

Yeah the Target here in Virginia Beach went from keeping pace with all the generations to bone dry on everything but shelformer beast hunters and it doesn't seem like with the Movie coming they have in interest in restocking until that new demand hits, but all the Marvel stuff is switching out in prep for the new movies coming this summer.

Yeah, Target mostly had a few of those Prime exclusives sitting around and thats it. And a few Generations Voyagers. I suspect the new generations lines will still come out, but they have probably been ordering lower in expectation of the movie toys.

The Dearborn Heights Target on Ford between Inkster and Beech Daly apparently put out another Generations deluxe case (though Armada Starscream was already gone), but they seem to have been marked up to about $16.50 whereas every other Target I frequent they're $15. Or were they always $1.50 higher? I don't make it that far east very often.

And now Westland's TRU has YOTH Starscream, and the Livonia TRU has something I hadn't seen since the end of November: a Jetwing Optimus Prime, back up to his hefty $99.99. Unless it sell soon, that's going to lead to a few false positives on the still-absent golden YOTH Op, like when DOTM Ultimate Optimus came out right before MP Rodimus Prime, I just know it.

I saw a YOTH Optimus Prime at the Toys R Us near uh.. that mall in Macomb County on M59? Wtf is its name? Saw the big Starscream there too. Anyways... saw a Generations Skywarp at the Target right next to it. I've seen a number of the new generations floating around. Seems like a number of Target's have Sandstorm and Springer's clogging their shelves up. Saw a Blitzwing at the Madison heights Target, too.

Hasbro toy shop has Rhinox and Whirl in stock. Just put in an order along with Kreo Menasor and Computron. Looks like none of these are popping up locally so HTS is the way to go.

My whirl arrived this past Monday. So worth the extra shipping.

Just grabbed an Armada Starscream at Westland TRU. I left them with two others along with two Scoops, two Mini-con Assault Teams, and three Skywarps.

I mentioned this in the Kreon wave 4 thread, but it bears repeating here:

Went to three Targets today, and none of them had any Kreo besides TF Kreons, wave 3 blind bags and some combiner teams. This wasn't the case less than a week ago, so it looks to me like the rest got sent back to give Lego Movie more room to restock, or something. IDR what their selection of larger TF Kreo sets was before this (I was trying to collect all the Cityville stuff while it was on clearance), but it looks like TRU might be the only place for it now (a guess, since I don't go into Walmart).

Do big box stores send stuff on the shelves back when they give up, and if so, does it end up in TJ-Marshaxx, Tuesday Morning, and the like? I bought a Walmart exclusive Star Wars 2-pack at the latter store.

Oh, and I cleaned out the Op vs. Megs Construct-Bot sets from the Wonderland Target at $5.25 each; not sure if any Targets still have any left now, let aloe Predaking. Still no break in the prices of their other exclusives, though.

I can never think of a period where anything got sent back out of the store, nearly ever, when I worked back in the day. Usually, big box stores just clearance it to a price small enough that it gets bought up quickly, not that anything ever really gets past half-price.

The Walgreens in Canton on Ford Rd. (At the corner by Kohls) had wave 4 Kreos on sale for $2.99 with your walgreens card. I picked up what I was missing and there were maybe 8 left :)

Found them all! Lol. Anyways, I've been slowly listing items from my huge Optimus Prime collection for sale. Thought I would pop in and see if any of my fellow Michiganders would be interested in any. check out my collection in the link or find it in the Collections forum. Most current on second page.

I have sold Hasbro MP-10, First Edition Optimus Prime (Prime series), and 20th Anniversary DVD edition MP.

I am keeping G1 commemorative, 20th Anniversary Optimus MP (original), and Takara MP10.

I am up to selling everything else to the highest offers. I have packaging/ instructions for most (not all). Please ask.

Local pick up and CASH only. Thank you.

Keep in mind I have been collecting for a long time. I know what everything is worth. don't lowball me. Please PM me if interested.

Grabbed a Doubledealer from Livonia TRU. They had two Whirls left and plenty of the Armada Starscream deluxe wave.

Target on Ford Road in Canton had 2 Whirls and 2 Rhinox this morning. I grabbed the Darksteel that was on clearance. Wish I would have known earlier about the Reprolabels Dezarus/Deathsaurus sticker upgrade for him. It looked fantastic. It's not available anymore. Nothing else new. I did notice that the Target on AA/Saline road had a bunch of Optimus and Bumblebee generations legends. Hopefully we'll see Swerve showing up soon.

Livonia TRU had the Age of Extinction Optimus and Bumblebee masks when I was there this afternoon. Not terribly exciting, but the first things I've seen in AoE packaging in a store to this point.

Picked up AOE Leaders Prime and Grimlock yesterday at the Troy Target on John R, and Voyager Evasion Mode Prime at the Wixom Target today. I have to say, I'm pleased with Leader Prime, despite his size not really warranting the "leader" classification. It's a solid, detailed figure, and as it turns out, they put the chrome in the right places, such as his stacks, grill, and tanks. Grimlock is a little thin legged IMO, but overall has a good, solid feel. Voyager Op is everything the DOTM Voyager Op should have been. He's a tight, solid, nicely detailed, and despite the sparse paint apps, satisfying figure. I am definitely noticing an upward tend in quality on these new figures.

Thanks for the info. I picked up the Voyagers at the Wixom Target last evening. They have 1 voyager Grimlock left. They also had out both leader class toys, but I left those since I'm running out of space for extra large TFs. Evasion Prime is a pretty awesome toy. Crazy engineering. The new instruction sheets look pretty but they're tough to interpret.

There's a perverse joy in getting toys before their official street date.

My elation has eased somewhat as I've realized that First Edition Leader Prime is actually bigger! Shoulda gone that route.

Maybe it's because of the con last weekend, but the official release date for TF toys has come and gone and I've stopped at Targets and TRUs and there is not much to like. Some are still holding clearance level BEAST HUNTERS stuff, and other than that I've seen Voyager Prime and Grimlock as the lone representatives of movie toys at stores other than TRU.

I did get Scorn, and Slug, there and left Bumblebees (which are still there a week later). Pretty cool figs--the dinobots. Also grabbed a Constructabots Slug and Drift rider---still hate/dislike highly Constructobots---but do like the deformed rider. Did grab one of the made up KREO combiners for AOE. Probably will get the rest when there is a sale.

All in all, a pretty sad official release. Too many kids toys-- at TRU only-- and not enough 'real' Transformers.

Yay...

5+ Strafe Evolution Sets@the Dearborn TRU. No MP Grimlocks. A couple of AOE Leader Primes, same Evasion Optimus. Also a restock of the Generations Scoop wave, all present.

I'm cherry - picking the Hades out of this line, only acquiring Ev - Op, Score and Strafe so far. I'm enamored with Op. Worth it entirely.
