Sounds like my collection, which is why I'm okay with a FoC Bruticus lining up with my other gestalts.megatronus wrote:To the extent that my Classics collection is a hodgepodge of Generations, WFC/FOC, Movie, and now Prime molds, I guess I have no excuses...
Only reason I went with the Platinum version is that BBTS put it on clearance last year (probably for your black friday sale).megatronus wrote:Arctorro wrote:I'm fairly certain that they will be doing a PE/SDCC version, at least when someone on TFW contacted them that's what they implied.
That's why I have the Platinum Edition and Takara versions (both bought on clearance, thankfully) in storage (AKA my closet) for such an anticipated outcome.

Arctorro wrote:I am sooooo tempted to track down retail versions of Swindle and Brawl so I can pre-order this! Going to wait for news of the other version though, even if it is painful.
shajaki wrote:MBC on the other hand, is more awesome than life itself. in spite of my pro-boosticus rant above... i would probably drop that set in a heartbeat if MBC confirmed a takara and G2 version. PLEASE MBC! you dont even have to show me pictures. just tell me youll make them!

I'll let you know how I'm going with hunting down Vortex and Blast Off thismonth, cause if I end up just getting a full Bruticus again, i'll have an extra Swindle and Brawl. But man, getting the full five, even at a discount price, leaves me with Haslaught and I can't even customize him into anything.

More awesome than life itself is quite the ringing endorsement!

its nice of them to add that in... but id like my onslaught to match the other guys guys he goes with. why only make him in original production colors? that doesnt even seem smart from a business standpoint. releasing him in all 4 colors would ultimately help you sell more units overall wouldnt it?

One large run that covers two official releases is probably cheaper to produce than two smaller runs in the two different colors

And probably an easier buy for the consumers. Also, retailers don't have to worry about having an excess of one type over the other in stock. This was BRILLIANT! I don't think too many people would've been on board to buy multiple colored versions of Onslaught. The main release seems to fit well for most combination of limbs (except maybe the G2 camo version). Glad I already preordered this.

, sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant I have all versions of Bruticus but my Takara version is the only one I really care about upgrading with one of these kits.
As they say, if there's no shiny paint, then Takara it ain't . So come on Microblaze, don't let us shiny happy people down .
Rated X wrote:It works pretty good because onslaught in grey sucks and never should have been conceived. But it still doesnt help me cause I only own the takara and G2 versions.
