He's bloody wonderful, isn't he?
I got him a couple of weeks back and he's not left my desk ever since. Absolutely love him.

Think less baby blue, and more light gray with a tinge of blue - like the G1 toy.
Kind of wish we got some more of that pink line-detailing on the legs instead of gold, but I can live with it. He seems great; can't wait to arm him up with my Stag Cleavers...

You'll also notice that the chest area where the wing pins insert are thicker, so there won't be hairline cracks and breakage like on the original Hexatron (at least, that was my experience).Rated X wrote:I never needed all that ninja crap anyways. The chrome and metallic paint is also a plus.
It's less metallic paint and more of a gloss finish. It's still stunning, though - really complements the chrome.Rated X wrote:And the better head and shorter guns are a win in my book. I think you'll see that the blue-tinted wings complement the updated color scheme quite well. In most lights, they match the silver highlights elsewhere on the figure (such as on the chest wings and the legs).
Overall, you're in for a real treat.
Rated X wrote:Awesome ! Thanks for details. Im even more excited now. The BBTS description reads 70% of the figure is painted. is that really accurate ? I thought only the purple parts were painted ? Is the teal glossed ?

The BBTS description says there's a metallic paint/finish, which is simply not the case. But, from looking at the thing, it seems the teal and purple parts are molded plastic, and that all those teal and purple parts are glossed. The promo photos on the BBTS/TFsource product pages don't really do this guy justice.
You'll see.
