Also popped up on TFSource for the same price: http://tfsource.com/products/view/product_id/6074/

If their "April 2013" estimate is correct, I'll just have hold off on the preorder until I have Fort Max paid off. I already slipped in iGear's Patrol Specialist, so time to tighten up the spending.

Dear 3Ps: If you haven't already set up listings for your next projects, maybe wait until the Summer. ;)

Pre-ordered on the spot as well. This is just a must-have, no matter what.
Price is pretty hefty, but April is some time away. Next up, chaos/paladin ;)

Oh HELL yes!

After two years of teasings, this glorious behemoth is nearly in sight.

Now I just need the 3rd party Throttlebots to re-enact Spotlight: Metroplex.

FINALLY!!!

It feels like I've been waiting for this figure since the dawn of the third parties.:BOOM: Was kind of hoping the release date would be a little later, but the price isn't all that bad and I'm just happy there's progress on this piece.

I hope all those issues mentioned in the past in regards to the prototypes have all been resolved.

What issues are you referring to?
The gun handle looks fairly weakly hinged for something that you would pick it up by. I don't think i'll be fooling around with that mode too much.

Preordered as well, but I may switch over to RK for my preorder if they post him soon.

If I order several things from them I can save on shipping, and they can be cheaper than BBTS.

I've told myself to stick to MP releases only, but I am sorely tempted by this. Ug, if only I had more MONEY! Still, I am very likely going to get my Sixshot one way or another. Damn, Hex looks great!

Besides the fact that the character is legendary, what is the particular appeal of this rendition? The alt forms and transformations look nearly identical to the G1 toy, which I didn't think was very stellar. So what is the particualr draw to this? Is it the size, the articulation, detail?

Pretty much all that, and MMC has really stepped up their game. It's a Classics Sixshot, a character there's almost no chance of getting an updated form from Hasbro or Takara.

Ive heard Sixshot is really big in his comic book appearances. Can somebody post a few of these pics please ? I want to feel better about this figure being part of my classics collection. I dont want him on my coffee table as a stand alone figure.

I think this is one figure where the character of the bot, and his 6 mode ability are just so insane on its own that you cannot go without having him in your collection. I feel the way about Sixshot that some probably feel about metroplex or Fort Max - I just have to have it. If I knew there was no way I would get an updated version, I would probably have bought the Sixshot reissue, and been happy with him EVEN with all the limited articulation. Hes just too awesome.

The bigger, the better when it comes to Sixshot.

What issues are you referring to?

I'm not sure they were ever specified, just that during MMC's touring with the test shot, certain issues were discovered which involved re-engineering small parts of it, pushing the release date back a few months.

That price is a little more reasonable than i was originally guesstimating. I was thinking it would be in the 180-200 range.

It's 60 bucks cheaper than MP Soundwave and far more intricate of a design.

I like that he's about the same size as Grimlock which means he's in the same ballpark as his G1 figure.

Hexatron is a fine classics release. The price is right enough and the engineering and detail is there.

£80 from TFScource (pre-shipping) means I'll most likely get it. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

I preordered him (BBTS). I was on the fence for a while there until I saw just how massive he is. I think this thing is gonna be awesome :)!

Yep, still no regrets about the preorder. Now you're making me want to buy 5 or 6 of them, one to display in each mode :P.

1 will have to be enough though.
