I don't think Hex will see release until November-ish if I recall right. So that would mean preorders may start near the end of August or by mid-september.

I don't know, for a masterpiece-sized and priced figure, more paint apps would be nice. Looks pretty plain.

I think it's an unpainted prototype. MMC's yet to let us down in the paint department

maybe a few little touches here and there, but it looks pretty awesome as is. I'd buy it for a varying amount of money, but probably not as much as they'll ask for it, like it is in that pic. Stick some well thought out, and not overwhelming paint apps and I'd go a little higher, price wise. The size makes sense, and it does look like a near perfect update of the G1 toy. "now hiring: ninja consultants"
