Ladies and gentlemen, here is an oath I take on this day. You are all witnesses.
If Hasbro releases a Blaster VS Soundwave 2-pack for the Classics line some time in the future, I will stop punching kittens for fun.
I make that vow as well.
Anyways, alot of people have been saying Ironhide/Ratchet, and I would have agreed with that at first, but then again, look at their original forms as well, they were boxes. I mean unless they do an actual ambulence, or maybe Ironhide minivan? theres a way to get the kids to soccer practice.
Soundwave and Blaster? I'm in. I'll stop punting US babies down the 401.
As for Ironhide and Ratchet, they could simply not be the oldschool Westfalia-style wagons. Perhaps Dodge Ram-style vans? Or even better, the vans that they are in the IDW Infiltration series. Ohhh, yes!

Now that's a great lineup! I can definately see Ratchet and Ironhide. Sixshot as an ultra would be incredible. Sunstorm with the seeker mold. And Springer and Arcee as a two-pack—"Defenders of Autobot City"—or something...maybe...

The only one you've failed to mention is Shockwave. I'd stop eating kittens if they made a Shockwave....

I'd like to see some more Decepticons. Making a Soundwave w/Ravage could result in making Casetticon 2-Packs (Laserbeak & Rumble, Frenzy & Buzzsaw, etc). Possibly a Reflector 3-pack? I mean, he could form a DSLR Camera. That would be great, because it sounds like the Cons are going to get outnumbered, BIG TIME.

I'm sure they'll do Shockwave as an Ultra anyways. They've got that Titanium mold. So all they need to do is enlarge the mold to twice the original size, and BAM! Classics Shockwave.

if were talking about the little guys like brawn and company then I hope they do a proper windcharger. But really hope they do sandstorm just because he was one of my favorite g1 characters.

I'd say we'll be getting a new Prime as an Ultra. About the size of Voyager Ratchet from the Movie, but with a trailer.
The original Prime was too small and wasn't well recieved. The design wasn't too bad in theory but was poorly exwecuted, IMO. The toy would only have worked as a larger figure. Still kind of cool to have choice like that though, if someone new coming in wants to plump for the older toy.
Maybe an Ultra Magnus repaint with proper armour. Those will be the Ultras.
Octane, I hope, is a voyager. There's something cool about a Hooj triple changer. I wouldn't mind getting a new Astrotrain either.

I personally enjoyed the first Optimus, but a trailer would have been a great addition, as well as a bigger version of it. Octane I could see being bigger, but I dont know about a new astrotrain.

i guess that's true, seeing that what they have shown at the presscon were only concept sketches yet and no resin models, unlike the TF animated where an almost complete toyline is already available.
confound it!

Hey scaleface there not doing any recolor of other lines this time any recolor will be from original molds made exlusively for this line. So please god sakes stop listing figure from cybertron and energon as figure for this line. This fact has been stated at both botcon and comcon so if you have wish list of figure please list them without alternate cybertron or energon figure repaint ideas. Also they said sometime around october 08 at least that what my friend e-mailed after get back from comcon.

Perhaps I need to explain to you the term "wishlist".

The thing they have said in panel duscion is the reason they did energon combiner repaint is because it was only supposed to be a filler line and not supposed to continue past the movie. But now that it is a full blown line they plan to do original molds only with repaint of those molds. I'm very excited to see what figures they do for the ultra part of the line. There are all sorts of possiblity for that part of line mean they could do metroplex, tripticon and even a true update omega supreme. I don't know who else would look good as an ultra but I can't wait untill october of next year to find out.

If they can repaint the Classic molds, then I can still wish for Sunstorm, and heck, a Red Alert redeco of Sideswipe!
Maybe a Trypticon and Whirl will come eventually, or even have original molds not repaints, but I'd love the repaints. They will have to make more toys for this line AFTER the Fall 2008 wave.

That is what I'm saying they will be releasing them like they did for original classics waves with however many deluxe and ultra in a wave.I'm not sure about voyager class figures since I haven't been able to find any mention of them yet. Yes there will be more after first set in october 08 but they will only be doing original design no figures from other series such as cybertron or energon comeing in the act as fillers. The other thing is there won't be any figures from the animated series being repeated in the classics 2.0 line. So everyone who is hopeing for certain figures will want to be keeping an eye on what is coming out in animated series as well because that may be the only way to get some of these figures. A great example of this is with dinabots three of dinobots comeing out in the classics 2.0 and the other two are coming out in animated series.

My question though is they arent going to do any of them from the animated line. so they cant do the dinobots from both. heck they are two different types of styling, and to me it seems like a Rip off.
