whoa you read too much into that... and i was only arguing your point that you stated as a fact they would be delayed.... im just saying no they arent.

To weigh in, I know that HLJ pushed things back too from the original dates. Soundwave and Fort Max got moved, and I think that's why Rumble and Ravage got shifted. Originally MP-15 was going to hit in January from what HLJ had originally said - with MP Soundwave hitting in December and Fort Max hitting in February.

My guess is that the schedule changed so that there wasn't a bottleneck in releases. They may have done some quick research and found that they'd get more sales (based on average spends) if they spaced out Red Alert and Soundwave and lumped the cassettes in together than the other way around. However I'm screwed as I currently have 2 Fort Maxes on order plus both cassette sets with HLJ

As a matter of fact, Rumble and Jaguar were indeed slated for release late January 2013, well..............February is nearly in its middle and still no MP-18.

The usual release date of the last week of January should have had them up for delivery by now but as the new links I posted gives credence to the email heads up I received on the first page of my post.

Given that, I put more weight on my Japanese supplier's e-mails over some claims of kinship to a source or otherwise.

Okay I know better than to get into the middle of this but here goes.

The October email from fenrir72 doesn't show the original release date. And the January email doesn't say that the figure is ACTUALLY delayed it just says it COULD be delayed.

My friend orders directly from a wholesaler in Japan and as far as I've been told the release date was always 2/23/2013 for Rumble and Ravage. Takara always releases stuff around the 25th of each month give or take a few days.

What could have happened is that one of the sites got insider information from Takara and posted a release date for the figure before the official ordering information got released. In competing for business once one vendor puts up a pre-order everyone else follows suit, but it's still all guesses at that point. Practically everytime Takara solicits a toy, some sort of picture is released with it. For example, BBTS doesn't have a pic of MP Prowl but they have the pre-order for it. My friend's wholesaler doesn't even have the official information for it yet.

So in this case of MP-15 I don't think they are delayed, I think it's just the vendor doing damage control with their customers for putting out incorrect info.

without beating down a dead horse because it's already mid February(or near it if you want to be @nal OCD)so the new tentative release should be hopefully this month and given all the cr@p that's been happening in China (read the news about the anti-Japanese riots over there?)who knows what caused the delay? The OCD on whether there was a real delay or not, well again,l let the "absence" or the non delivery/release of the item speak for itself.........should be in the pipeline now and yet.......

Original solicitation at the site for MP-15 had the release date pegged for January (which more or less the regular last week). Sadly my October email doesn't indicate that when I got the confirmation reserve order which was also the same date of the solicitation being put up the websites(I didn't think it was necessary to screen capture the original solicitation) So the January email that informed me of the delay (as I said the up tenth time), the vendors never send me an email like this except that the item is ready and its time to pay up!

Call it what you wish. Damage control etc. What I posted is first hand experience not like I heard from someone or my buddy owns this or the like.......

What's important is................MY WALLET has taken a breather so that I can snow still eat human food and not Scooby snacks

If I understood Bowspearer's post. He officially ordered an MP-15 and probably initially expected a late January release. So unless you actually ordered the item from anoverseas Japanese online store and also received an email, which I posted......'nuff said!

My point is that I think the original information you received was incorrect and there never was a delay. It was always scheduled to be released in Feb and not January.

You have first hand info from an email. I have first hand info from a Japanese wholesaler so whatever.

I just don't see a point of making an announcement that the tapes are delayed when they aren't.

You trust your site. I trust mine because they never post info until they get it from Takara so they have exact info.

You're right though. Dead horse. They are coming out at the end of the month so whatever.

I never received an actual email stating a delay. I just know that when I was checking on all my preorders in the wake of Soundwave and Fort Max being pushed back, that I noticed that MP-15 had also been pushed back.

Honestly, I think what's happened here is that there was an initial tentative release date which changed to a different official release date.

Honestly, I don't get the pettiness here. Fenrir offered up info she'd gotten that the release date had been pushed back. For those people unaware of this and who were affected by it, it's a helpful post. For those already aware of the later release date then it shouldn't be an issue.

Honestly this kind of childish back-biting is the reason I don't tend to frequent forums these days.
