I just found that RobotKingdom seems to have some more info on Perfect Effect's "PE11 Camera Set".

Check these images out from RobotKingdom, don't think we've seen those before:

(I can't make the second image work with the square brackets in the filename)

Also, it seems we now have a tentative release date of late March.

And a cartoon-accurate colour scheme.

That's gonna make an awesome display piece in alt mode.

Site sponsor Robotkingdom.com has images of the 3rd party product PERFECT EFFECT Camera Set (PE-11).

According to Robotkingdom this set is due out in late March 2011, but there has been no size given, or even an estimated price set yet.

Hmmm. I was hoping that they would have made the camera mode a little bit more realistic and less like it was made out of Lego. I will have to think on this one, but price will be a definite factor.

I like how they've stuck with the cartoon colours, which make a more cohesive combined mode, but NotSpectro and NotSpyglass have the red and blue highlights on their arms, as a nod to the G1 toy.

I'm just glad they are releasing the G1 colored version right off the bat, rather than some all black stealth version or something of the sort.

Straight up G1, no stupid vechicle or gun modes !!! They said they are gonna do a Soundwave in the future right ??? Hopefully he turns into a boombox, maybe they can do a real Blaster too !!!
