The Transformers Live Action Movie Blog has reveived two photos from "Dee" of the production of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at the White Sands missile range.

The photos show us Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson on set, as well as a clear look at Ironhide (GMC Topkick), Ratchet (search and rescue Hummer), Sideswipe (Corvette Centennial concept car) and the new Chevrolet Volt.

The Volt, previously seen during the shoot at Long Beach here, is a production model of a new hybrid vehicle by Chevrolet. Chevrolet representatives stated that the Volt would not be a Transformer character in the sequel, but seeing the vehicle twice in two completely different locations (Long Beach acting as Shanghai and White Sands acting as Jordan) seems to prove otherwise.

For a car that's alledgely just set dressing, that Volt sure seems to pop up a lot on set.

I wonder if that's part of the reason that Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the most recent Superman have had darker reds than what they wear in the comics?

You know, the Cent. Vette actually looks somewhat nice at that angle, still a bad idea for the front end though.....

The Volt is up there on the awesome scale, but my favorite four dour is still the Ford Crown Victoria LTD.

Hopefully, the color red is being saved for an awesome reveal in the future -- such a debuting with HOT ROD!

(we can always hope, right?)

As bossbot said above... Red was said to be a tough colour to Shoot on Film.... though i confess i don't know why.

It's clear the Volt is an Autobot.... GM wouldn't have the Volt as a Con... not a chance....

In the first movie, all GM cars are Autobots. Other brands can be Decepticon.

I guess, the pattern will follow into movie sequel.

So this means the sexy Audi is an enemy?
