you should be fine and able to get a black tipped one , if your laws allow you to have guns minus the orange tip.. so research the laws , and see if you can just get one straight from japan.

I’m not an Englishman, but that all depends upon what the laws are in the UK regarding toy guns. Does the UK require that toy guns have the orange tip? If not, then getting the unaltered Japanese MP Megatron would be no problem. Our problem in the US is that our laws require toy guns to have the orange tips. This is strictly a US law, not an international one. So, unless the UK has a similar one, I wouldn‘t worry too much.

il probably stil end up paying twice as much for him though, even if i orderd him from bbts customs and postage would be as much or more then the toy

Due to the nature of this toy, Megatron comes packed in Gun Mode. And this may pose problems when undergoing customs clearance to all countries.
Therefore, we would like to highlight to all customers that we WILL NOT BE LIABLE for any actions taken by customs, e.g confiscation or taxes.

However, we can provide a service to unpack the megatron toy, and semi-transform him into robot mode, and pack him safely along with the rest of the packaging for shipment to our customers. This would definitely prevent any 'security' problems at all customs points, and would allow safe transit of this toy to you. This has been tested and proven to work.

If you would still like to have a mint in sealed box (MISB) item, then please be reminded of the above agreement, that we will not be liable for any consequences of shipping Megatron in gun mode.

We sincerely apologise to all custoemers for all this hassle on buying this really awesome and rare toy, but we need to be honest and upfront on the possible scenarios of purchasing this product, mainly due to the current security precautions and alerts at worldwide customs checkpoints.

if ya read through that... they arent orange tipping it.. but as soon as the guys at customs see it.. its gone.. so its not worth anyone in the US to order one that isnt made correctly... but thanks for trying ...

I wonder if it would be worth finding a relay in canada who then could drive them over the border and ship them out. Or maybe I drive to Niagra Falls and find one on my own. I intend to then wave my oversized toy gun at the cops shouting "second amendment protects Megatron's right to exsist".

No place to attach a stock on this guy, which means no stock or silencer is likely to be made I'm afraid.

I wonder if it would be possible to have a stock that folded up into his legs to bulk them up

No, because the trigger is in the way and the stock would be too long to begin with, and would also interfere with the knees bending regardless.
