I'm happy, I was hoping it wasn't gonna be another year before we got some more cassettes for Soundwave. Since I switched to MP's being my only official product, I'm happy to have a break from higher priced larger figures. I'll also be really happy if they plan to MP every cassette, even the Dino's, that would be fantastic, and IO'd buy everyone, including any autobots.

Especially if Magnus maybe on the Horizon.

So that's...

TRU TC = 70$
TRU OP = 100$
MP SS = 90
MP RA = 90
MP SW = 160
MP cass1 = 60

that's almost 600$ in figures in four months! yikes!

Besides, I have three good reasons why I am glad that my speculations are wrong:

1) I like being surprised at the cost of being wrong. It means that unless some jackhole chooses to be a "I am right, you are wrong" type, I get to invest more interest in the item.

2) I am intellectual, which means for me that I get to learn more about the company making it and see where they are going with their lines.

3) Even if I was correct, I'd still have to opt out on getting it at this time due to the fact that I need to save up for my 2013 trip, need to submit my current collection to AFA, and "Encore" Twincast is a post-vintage priority as we speak.

Doesn't mean we won't be getting an Ultra Magnus soon. I was pretty certain these would be upcoming, considering they already made little prototypes of them. Glad Soundwave will be getting his minions, but I am really hoping they don't skip out on Buzzsaw, or only sell him with a Soundblaster repaint. Don't need Soundblaster, MUST have Buzzsaw.

How is that trolling even I was hoping it was ultra Magnus and that site posted a shadow of a mp-10 which was way off. And it's not like it was my opinion everyone was wrong and I just thought it funny after that crazy conversation about what prime it might be that's it.

I was teasing you, Hotrodimust. Because you know that there are those who would say such a thing, laugh at those who are wrong, and then have their mom ask them when they are going to stop collecting "those silly toys" and get an actual job... Have him have a fit and claim his blog is a job... And then ask their mom if she can make them a sandwich for lunch.

Also, if somebody actually takes it as a form of trolling, just respond by saying that trolling and flaming are contradictions.

Seriously. I was all gung-ho about Sideswipe until the Fort Max news hit. That sucker is going to take a few months to save up for & I'm currently gathering what I need to buy MP Soundwave. So unless Sides sticks around for a while it seems all hopes of owning him are dashed, other than the secondary (ebay) market, of course.

Doh!

Watch them come out with Sunny in the next year or two. That'd be a wee bit depressing if I don't have Sides >.<

My guess is that the next cassette pack will be Frenzy and Buzzsaw. Both already have molds and it will not take much to get them out quickly after Ravage and Rumble. I'd say we could have a decent army of cassettes by the summer. Laserbeak, Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, Buzzsaw. All we really need after that is Ratbat, who would probably come with a Soundblaster repaint.

Oh ok cool it's just a lot of times when I say something on this site someone breaks my balls so I just thought this was another time and of course the mods get on me because I haven't been a member that long. But anyways is it just me or is $60 a little to much for 2 cassettes that fit in a masterpiece chest?

Trust me. I used to be a moderator as well on another site, and know how not easy it is. Which is why I try to give them a break by being 100% compliant, as that was the complete opposite of what I received back then. Then again, being here is slightly more PG than what I am used to. But that is in the past.

Besides... My initial return here has me defending myself more than actually discussing the subject at hand. A complete opposite of what made me want to start a new account and have a fresh, new beginning. So my advice to you is not always go with what your gut says. Always brush it off, tell them you hope they are joking, and try to keep the conflict private. The mods will thank you for it, and it'll make you be better than those who think they are too good to put logic before their own ignorance-backed egos.

As for the question... I want to say "yes" to the idea. But we currently do not know how big Soundwave will be. Plus, we do not know how articulated these tapes are, how detailed they are, what accessories they come with, and so on. So for the time being, I have to say "no" on account that they are both Japanese imports and something we have yet seen in person.

Plus, also, MP-16 is Rumble and Buzzsaw! Which means that unless they do an MP version of Blaster, hey migh go as far as the 2010 line with these!

Oh... And the photo was correct. It is based on an upcoming Masterpiece, and this one will surprise you (as it surprised me, seeing it means more Japanese G1 history being squeezed in): It is MP-10 Black Convoy.
