For once, I am glad I wake up early! I saw the news at 715 and got my order in.

I had to do my order by phone because I got the "limited quantity screen". When I called they said they couldn't find the item on the TRU website. I had to send them to Seibertron and click the link to the TRU site. Once they did that, my order went through. I got my confirmation and everything.

If you didn't get one, try calling the 800 number and ordering by phone.

Missed it too. Hopefully they'll remain in stock long enough for me to order one when they notify me by email. Is this the Grimlock sized masterpiece or the Starscream size?

I called the 1 800 number and was told that it will not be in stock until August, but they will be receiving only 89 and then that is it. Crap. If only I had woken up a bit earlier or stayed up a bit later last night.

This is lame. I was checking at 2am and they hadn't listed it as of then. Now come to find they are completely sold out is weak apple sauce. Just wanted one for my homage display case to 1986 movie. Guess I'm going to have to bite the big one and Purchase the Takara one *ouch* felt my soul bleed a little on that one and my wallet just gave up on life stating his @$$ is sore. Yet it seems like they keep popping up on ebay at almost twice the retail price. Anything to make a dollar I suppose. Come on fellow fans help a brother in metalarms out. Peace!!

Looks like it's going to be in size with Grimlock at least going by the product demensions provided by toysrus.com.

I imagine thats him in an iron cross position like Vince Vaughn in Old School

It kind of boils my blood when I see people in the forums who are like "I bought two" or "I got one which will save me from having to check my local stores." Pretty inconsiderate to those collectors who live nowhere near a Toys R Us.

Some of us who live near local stores have absolutely no time to stop by everyday to see if there is one in-stock. If you place a dollar value on your time, toy hunting for this thing can end up costing more than even the Takara version. After multiple trips searching in vain for Grimlock, I decided I was never going to hunt for an exclusive again. Time wasted driving to TRU and back was time I could have been working to earn $$ or, better yet, time I could have spent with my son.

Now, I do believe that if you read Dante's Inferno in the original Italian, he does mention a special level in hell for those who purchased 2 from the TRU online store.

I have the Takara version and he is in scale with Grimlock. He is about the same height, just a wee bit taller, but is considerably thinner than Grimmy.

It's between the 4th and 5th Circle of Hell.
