My Burgeoning Optimus Collection

Hi, guys! I'm new here, showing my modest collection of Optimus Primes. I started this collection back in late December. Although I've always been a Transformers fan, I couldn't picture myself recollecting various figures from numerous generations since my wife would kill me. Therefore I stuck to one 'bot only, my favorite being Optimus. Currently I am looking for Xovergen's Grand Patriot; if anyone's willing to let him go for a reasonable amount, I'd be more than happy to buy him. Also, I'm always eager to find out about other versions of Optimus as well!

My favorites of the bunch are WFC Prime, Classics Prime, Knight Morpher, and RTS Prime with BT armor. Oh, and just for kicks, here's my OTHER passion: my daisho.

Nothing new to offer, but hope you've enjoyed viewing this!

Nice. Very nice. I need to start getting some 3rd party trailers for mine. I like the Battle Tanker alot and I would also like to get my hands on the G3 trailer for my Classics Prime. My wife is the same way with my collection but I got her to agree to Optimus and Megatron...lol. I've also been able to build a little Classic/ Generations/ RTS army in there over the years. Anyways, if you get a chance, check out my collection.

Figures not shown are SDCC Prime First Edition, Prime RID Voyager Optimus and Voyager Megs. Oh and I've got MP-10 on the way as we speak. Anyways...enjoy!

I like that!
Small, but you definitely have some criteria for collecting, rather than going in frenzy mode.

Nice blades, too. ;)

Thanks for the supportive responses, guys! Joe, you've got quite the collection going on there and I especially like the Optimus shrine. Are the large ones MP-01 and Kreo Prime? I've heard mixed reviews about Kreo Prime, but it's getting clearanced everywhere and I might just give in...

Va'al, I'm glad you like the blades, but katana are quite expensive to purchase and maintain. Way more high maintenance than Transformers, unfortunately! :BANG_HEAD:

If you are talking about the top shelf, they are 20th Anniversary DVD Prime with Just Toys trailer, 20th Anniversary (2004)(same as MP-1 with battle damage scheme and short smoke stacks), and all the way to the right is DOTM Ultimate Optimus Prime. Kreo Prime is in there though also. As far as picking him up, I'd say take advantage of the clearance. As long as you like Legos that is. Takes about 4 hours to assemble. lol. If you are looking for a nice Prime from the Kreo line, I'd give it about a 6 out of 10. Not accurate with any known series. If you're like me though, you'll pick it up to keep adding to your Prime collection. I also have the small Kreo Prime as well. Just because. lol

Wow...FOUR FREAKING HOURS?!?!?! That's dedication. I might hold off on it; hopefully it'll show up in Ross sometime later. Thanks for the info!
