Hmm maybe.

Anywho...

New pics.
I put comments underneath as usual.

Image

I glued little squares of plastic together to make little poles.

I filed them into a round shape.

Drilled a hole in it.

Image

Glued the pole into place.

Image

SLICE!

Cut the thighs into two separater thighs.

Also seen here is the beginnings of the screw point.

Image

The two halves of the left thigh.

(Im working on them one thigh at a time)

Image

Left thigh screwed together.

Image

TAPE MODE!... so far...

Image

BOT MODE!... so far...

See the little panels I made?, That's where they go.

Image

Boring picture of the cut of the thighs.

Shouldn't have finished with that one.

You can see im basing the transformation off of blasters transformation.

Excellent finds, guys!

But what section of the site is that stuff found in? I've searched all over the place and can't find how to get to them. I want to see what other stuff they have along those lines...

I did, but there wasn't anything remotely like this stuff there, and no way that I could see to find more items.

I bought the Flexible Pipe Size Large and medium size last year, and its pretty much crap... the large size is ALOT smaller than TM Cheetor tail (i wanted to make a better tail...) heck, is smaller than a G2 cyberket missle!

plus, you need to use some kind of glue to hold the balljoints

WHAO long time no updates eh?

Found some joints to use courtesy of Mr Insect robot.

Image

Joint to be used in the knee.

Image

Cut away for the knee joint to work.

Image

Cut down joint.

Image

Glued in joint.

Image

And thats all I can be bothered with today.

EDIT: I'll probably have a leg finished tomorrow, so more pics then.

This is looking great! That joint was made for this project! I'm going to be interested in seeing this completed as from the look of it now it is going to have a very very Generation One look to it. And I see you're an Australian!

I don't know if it'll help, gundam model kits have a lot of joints. I bought a few on sale at bigbadtoystore.com. The 1/144 scale would probably work well for what you want to accomplish.

Okay, I haven't updated in a while because my parents have put the camera somewhere and we cant find it.

No matter.

I have one leg finished.

Another leg half finished.

Head is also half finished, it just needs a face.

Arms are planned out.

And the torso is almost made.

Pictures should come later on this week some time.
