plus, you need to use some kind of glue to hold the balljoints

well, the sizes are mentioned, and Sweater asked for really small balljoints ;)

Found some joints to use courtesy of Mr Insect robot.

And thats all I can be bothered with today.

This is looking great! That joint was made for this project! I'm going to be interested in seeing this completed as from the look of it now it is going to have a very very Generation One look to it. And I see you're an Australian!

I don't know if it'll help, gundam model kits have a lot of joints. I bought a few on sale at bigbadtoystore.com. The 1/144 scale would probably work well for what you want to accomplish.

Okay, I haven't updated in a while because my parents have put the camera somewhere and we cant find it.

No matter.

I have one leg finished.

Another leg half finished.

Head is also half finished, it just needs a face.

Arms are planned out.

And the torso is almost made.

Pictures should come later on this week some time.

Looking fantastic, and it looks like it has far better articulation than Rumble/Frenzy and Rewind/Eject.
Your first time out is bound to be a little rough -- but since you're basing it round actual tape cases (easy and cheap to come by), you can try it several times, and once you've got it down, you can worry about neatening it up then...
