My (FORMERLY) small newbie collection

I used to have like every G1 figure ever but my abusive step father smashed them all. My mom found a few transformers from some thrift place and gave them to my Daughter last year who proceeded to lose them and she would ask me to help her transform what she did not lose. Right around my birthday the Hub started playing G1 cartoons and I started watching my favorite childhood show again. Looking for DVD's of the Series I came across a Optimus Prime 25th Anniversary which my Fiance then bought me for Xmas (God Bless Her). I hold the animated movie in high reguard as one of my favorites when I was a kid. Apparently alot of the G1 characters from the Movie are now getting remolds and it has kick started my interest in collecting and playing with Transformers again. Here is my small collection most of which I have aquired in the past month. The smaller figures are from some early 2000 series and those were what my Mom found.

Not bad. Especially to say you're just starting the hobby! Keep an eye out for RTS/Generations Wreckgar, Scourge, and Kup. Hasbro is doing the fans of the movie a solid by releasing pretty much all of the main characters from the 80's movie. Masterpiece Grimlock looks especially good with the movie cast.

Funny you mention those characters. Those are what I am keeping a eye out for. Also the Masterpiece Grimlock which seems to be a pain to find at any Toys R Us in my area. I am hoping to find some of him at a Comic Con sometime soon.

I am trying to get the whole Animated Movie main cast and some of the G1 cartoon main characters and all of the G1 Gestalt toys. I am probally going to go the commerative or masterpiece route on some of the G1 cast. Its a exciting time I really dig the Generations and Reveal The Shield lines.

Cool collection man! I wish I had that MP Prime and G1 reissue Prime myself. It's nice to see you're into the Generations and Reveal the Shield stuff, too. I'm dying to get my hands on Bumblebee and G2 Optimus Prime.

Keep on collecting!

Another Tampa person, cool! You've got some great stuff there, and those Neo-Geo games aren't so bad either.

Finally have a Masterpiece USA Grimlock on the way. Should be here next week. Cannot wait to put him with his buddies in the movie cast. Now I just need the other 4 G1 Dinobots , If only Hasbro would make a proper Springer and Arcee.
