Mine wouldn't either if it weren't or re-issues
. It's the only reason that mine look as great as they do.. I think half of my S1/2 G1 figs ARE reissues. in fact the only originals up there are G2 Prime, Hound, Beachcomber (which is actually a G2 painted up), the Dino's, Sunstreaker, Devs, Blitzwing and Astrotrain.
