I don't know much about Nathan and his team, but I do know Sam has nearly 30 years experience in black ops. He's a master at stealth, and his job involves never being seen. And he's one of the deadliest things ever. He's basically Batman, without the no-kill and no-guns rules, and also without a cape.

Drake for win.

Drake kills armies of zombies and fights ice demons. And planning an ambush is a lot easier than planning an attack.

And without the same level of skills. Or physical capabilities.

You ever play the Splinter Cell games? He has the same level of skills and physical abilities.

No. Just no. He can't bend steel bars, punch through brick walls, or bench 1000 pounds.

Are we still talking about Batman? Because you just described Superman. Batman can't do that, that would require superpowers, which Batman notably lacks.

In any case, Sam still wins. A year of prep time? Sam makes chumps out of armies with only a day. Grim hacks every device Nathan ever owned or used, tosses his personal information out on the internet, frames him for a bunch of major crimes, (As well as, obviously, the murder of Sarah Burns) then forwards it along to the CIA, FBI, and any other organization that's interested, making it impossible for Nate to act freely without drawing attention, as well as having Archer follow him around to keep tabs on him. Then, when the day comes, Sam and Archer get on the boat, cut the power, cut the fuel, then start snapping necks until they achieved the desired result.

Actually...if you had read a comic, you would know that Batman has done all of that. Oh yeah, and dodged automatic weapons fire, and been shot point blank in the face (With armor, of course) Oh yeah, forgot when he kicked down a tree and hurled someone through a missile reinforced door.

@ Shadowman: Batman has actually done all of those things. The writers of his comics in the last few years pulled a dastardly little move to upgrade his "power set". He is described as peak human in pretty much all areas. And if you get really nitpicky like they did, some human out there is capable of doing all those things: bench-pressing over 1000 pounds, bending steel, doing amazing back flips, lifting a car, punching through brick, etc. Except they rolled all this into one supposedly "normal" person. Kind of a cop-out/loophole if you ask me, but it's all canon. /shrug

But that's all beside the point. I agree that Sam takes this, particularly with the given situation. I've only seen the first Uncharted game played through. True, Nathan is resourceful, skilled, and has a lot of natural talent. But he's still the same young, plucky adventurer type that gets a LOT of luck and seems to like "winging it". In many ways, he's a bit like John McLane or Malcolm Reynolds.

Sam is the polar opposite. He's experienced, cool/calculating, and is capable of doing all the things Nathan is. In addition, I've seen a LOT more strategy and preparation capability from Fisher, not to mention arguably superior fighting skills.

Honestly, I don't even know why Nathan Drake is being compared to Sam Fisher. Nathan Drake doesn't sneak around and kill everyone he sees without being noticed. And as for the scenario, Drake wouldn't kill someone and steal and hide like a criminal. That's just not Drake. This thread would make alot more sense if it was Solid Snake vs. Sam Fisher or Lara Croft vs. Nathan Drake. Then we'd have a debate. Fisher would kill Drake without a problem at all.

If both teams have a year of prep time, they could use that time to hunt down and kill each other before the main event on the ship. The main event wouldn't happen. I've no idea who would assassinate who, though.
