Nebulos - Fire In The Sky

The noose around Fortress Maximus' neck tightens. Will the Decepticon 2nd fleet led by mighty Scorponok finally subjugate their old nemesis? And if they do, what will be the fate of the Autobot resistance?

Nebulan Mountainside

The Decepticon scout hadn't even known what had hit him. A flurry of insectoid jaws and claws and only astroseconds later his mutilated, metallic body dropped to the ground.

>>"One less witness. Heh,"<< Repugnus transmitted to the other two Monsterbots.

Repugnus looked up, his jaws dripping with vital internal fluids and his optics glistening in the moonlight as they shifted and adjusted to get a better look at the Decepticon base in the distance. The land was starting to look much less Nebulan and much more Cybertronian as the Decepticons' influence spread like a plague.

Nebulan Mountainside

Grotesque used his nose to tell him when the coast was clear. The moment he sensed there was no trace of the exhaust all transformers gave off as their mechanical systems moved he leaped from where he was hiding and ran towards the closet building. Once he got close enough he leapt and grabbed on to the top side of the building. He remained still as him sensitive ears told him that a guard was about to turn the corner. He could see him turn the corner and walk underneath him, not noticing his presence. In the blink of an eye, Grotesque grabbed the guard's upper torso in his upper jaw and crunched down hard. Once the guard stopped moving he tossed it to the roof where it would not be seen. Then he responded to Repugnus.

"Guard. Just look a little bite and he lost his head over it." He sniffed and looked around, carefully staying to the shadows. "The 'Cons win one little major battle and they start getting all cocky. We need to close in on the ships and secure one."

A satisfied smirk was clearly evident on Repugnus' expression as he looked in the distance. The green fleshlings' capital of Koraja now loomed over the Nebulan landscape like some sort of misplaced Cybertronian artifice. Ships were starting to come and go from the cityscape with much more regularity. The 'Cons were clearly up to more than just another idle conquest. But what? Repugnus supposed he didn't really care one way or another.

>>"Lazy guards, this far out. Gonna die quick. Of course the 'Cons are cocky now. They send Scorponok and his whole fleet to assault who? Skyhammer and some rejects? Prime should have known this would happen."<<

Repugnus continued on, now taking more of a downward track while still keeping his optics peeled for more wayward Decepticons. They had a nasty tendency to pop up like cyber-rats. And Repugnus would be just thrilled to stomp on them like one.

>>"Have to get closer if we want a ship. A lot closer."<<

*sniff* *sniff*

"Well?" the right head of Doublecross's twin-headed beast form asked his opposite as his nasal sensors flicked about in the air.

"Two guards up ahead."

"We can smell them?"

"No you twit! But they're drinks... That, we can smell." Replied the left dragon head as he turned to face his counterpart. "Come on then, everyone else is doing their part." The twin headed dragon began to slither across the Nebulonian mountainside on all four of its reptilian-like legs. Doublecross kept his right head up and about as it scanned the horizon for any surprises while the left head had its nasal sensors pressed against the dirt and continued following the scent of Energon ripe for their taking.

"Hold up!" The right brain exclaimed as it took control of Doublecross for the moment and pulled himself up against the side of ammo crate. "Guard, Patrolling the perimeter. Should we shoot him?"

"Highly probable, I'd advise not to. Where exactly is he?" Doublecross's left head asked turning to face his right head. Doublecross peered his right head around the crate to eye the Decepticon's position.

"Up along that wall, walking to and fro around that watchtower to the Southeast."

"That would be SouthWEST." The left brain corrected as he slapped the back of the right head with the body's right hand. "Imbecile, you'll get us killed giving out wrong directions like that."

"Ow! Sorry for keeping us from getting noticed..." The right brain retorted as he rubbed his aching processor. "So if we can't shoot him, what do you suggest?"

The sound of Grotesque chomping into an unsuspecting guard a little ways over caught the attention of the dragon-former, prompting the more dominate left brain to grin in satisfaction as his processor began to delve into fresh new idea.

"Come, Doublecross, our fellow Monsterbot has given me a most brilliant idea!"

"Wait, what'd he do? I didn't see, what'd he do?!?"

"Shhhh!" hissed the left head of the dragon mode as he sunk his dragon claws into the side of the wall beneath the watchtower, "Shut up and get his attention."

"Grotesque's?"

"The GUARD!"

The Decepticon patrolling his post below Doublecross's position immediately bolted up as he heard murmuring coming from below where he stood. He approached the edge of the wall and began to peer over the ledge.

"Scrap! Gotta make this quick!" The left head proclaimed as he shot himself up to grab the Decepticon with his jaws. Before the guard had time to react, he was pulled down from his post with his processor trapped between the jaws of Doublecross's left head. "Helm meh siwence hmmm!"

"What was that? You know its rude to talk with your mouth-"

*CRRREEEEKKKKKCCHHH*

The left head of the twin headed dragon mode spat out the remains of the vehicon's now decaptitated head into the dirt and gave his right head a scowl of sheer frustration before returning his gaze up into the air to take another waft.

"Oh I smell the trail now!" The right head exclaimed as he too began sniffing the air like his counterpart. "Ooo it's real strong over here!"

"That's because it's his Energon you smell..." Doublecross spat without looking at his other dragon head. "But you are right... We are getting a stronger scent now that we're closer. Might be picking up on a nearby refueling station or Energon well..."

"Well the guards do have drinks, I'm gonna put my shanix down on refueling station."

"Alright, off this wall for now." Doublecross stated as he detached from his holding on the Decepticon walling and gently landed into the dirt. "We'll hook back up with Grotesque and Repugnus, see if we can't follow their trail into the facility."

"Awww but I wanna help shoot these guys..."

"In time, but for now we have a duty to find resources. Seek, retrieve, refuel, retaliate. That's our task right now."

Nebulan Mountainside Base

Grotesque continued to move carefully through the base. His size did not make him particularly stealthy but his dexterity and tactical mind made up for that. As he got deeper into the base he was able to use the roofs of buildings more. The buildings also allowed for a better view.

"Ok, Monsters. I can see a ship. Its in the center of the base. Looks like they were preparing it for a trip in the near future. Still have some stuff to do though. Doubly, I need you two to quietly get us some fuel and bring them to me. Pugny, I need you to go up to that control tower and make them more silent than when Ultra Magnus asks for volunteers to attend his lectures. I'll move in and secure the ship itself."

Ah, a ship. Just what they needed. For all of Nebulos' potential as a place to slaughter Decepticons, the 'Cons had just done way too much damage to this planet and overwhelming even three ridiculously violent Monsterbots would be none too difficult if they went about things with their usual methods. But, ah, that certainly didn't mean they couldn't have some fun along the way. Grotesque certainly seemed to understand that. His optics narrowed as he centered in on the tower that his fellow Monsterbot had pointed out. Control tower. It would definitely be occupied. Occupied by Decepticons.

That was all Repugnus could ask for.

"My distinct pleasure," Repugnus hissed quietly, and then was off.

Tenebrous – Docks

Grotusque moved low to the ground. He did not bother looking at the incoming ship, his nose told him all he needed to know without having to stick his head out.

"The exhaust smells too sweet. They are using higher quality fuel. Might be something important in there." Grotesque whispered to the others. "Of course, I would be able to have a better idea if I did not have your stench distracting me 'Pugny."

With a hiss, the entry ramp to the Peaceful Tyranny began to slowly lower. Steam hissed upward as the hydraulics released. Gradually, five shadowy figures approached, only their silhouettes visible behind the small cloud that came billowing downward.

Kaon simply gave a small, sideways glance in Tarn's direction. In deference, he would let the seniormost justice begin their descent, just as he always had.
___

Lookout rounded a final corner of the ship just in time to hear the telltale sounds of hydraulics being released. At the far end of one corridor, he saw five mechanoids gathered, preparing to disembark. Not repairmechs.

Them.

Lookout froze.

"Oh frag me runnin', that's them..." his hissed out, unable to help himself.

So it began. Allowing himself the pleasure of transforming, Tarn rolled down the ramp. As he hit the bottom of the ramp, he transformed again, using some of his momentum to propel himself forward. Mmm…it was so intoxicating. He felt that one should always make something of an entrance regardless of anyone watching. It set one in the right frame of mind.

Flexing his hand idly, Tarn’s crimson optics looked to their welcoming party. An assortment of the crew on hand. One approached with the clear intention of leading them to their destination. He bowed his head respectfully.

“My lords,” he murmured, gesturing down toward the base proper, “If you will allow it, I will show you to Lord Turmoil.”

“Excellent,” Tarn purred, gesturing for the mech to proceed with a broad wave of his hand. “Please, lead on.”

With another bow of his head, the mech turned and proceeded down the walkway. Tarn followed at a leisurely pace, glancing about and taking in Tenebrous. How pleasant to be on freshly conquered ground. Scorponok was doing a rather fine job as commander of the second fleet. Though, he supposed a willing population helped matters.

A hand grabbed Lookout’s shoulder tightly. Shocker. Standing slightly behind him, watching the Justices disembark. Their leader did it with more flair than Shocker’s spark could really handle. It was them. In the metal. Right in front of them. It shouldn’t have been surprising. Shouldn’t have been. But being in such close proximity? Ugh. It made Shocker’s fuel pump churn.

He didn’t move, opting to allow their vastly superior superiors to make their entrance before they exited their ship.

“Frag, they’re more impressive in person…” he murmured softly. In person held risks that watching something on a screen did not. Such as one of them taking notice. He wanted none of that. Shocker was more than content to just be a cog in the giant Decepticon war machine.

Excuse me,” Repugnus grumbled, ducking back down into their temporary hideaway. “So you think it’s some higher ups’ ship? Looked fast…Pretty sure we won’t get far if we try to steal it if it does belong to some high ranking Con.” Repugnus tapped his chin idly.

“But…it would be easier than overpowering Turmoil and his whole fleet. Should we stowaway? Pop out once we’re clear of the second fleet?”

For a recently conquered planet, Nebulos looked rather spick-and-span. Say what you will about Turmoil, but he certainly tidied up the place quicker than most warlords seemed to do. Vos’ spindly legs carried him along the escorted path.

>>”I must say, Turmoil has done wonders to this place. His work here on Nebulos has made excellent addition to our cause.”<< Vos states aloud to no one in particular, more or less observing out loud. >>”Shame we can’t stay long. I’d like to see if his science teams have made any break throughs already.”<<

-

Sextant saw them too... The Justices. They were a spectacle for sure, giving off an aura that radiated both majesty and absolute dread. Though his joints froze at their sight, he also feared the words that were spoken to them by the one in the front.

“C’mon guys,” The navigational specialist insisted with an easy shove towards his fellow maintenance crew members, “Let’s not stick around here any longer than we need to!” Sheepishly moving towards the front of his fellow Decepticons, the navigator hurried on his way following the DJD further into Turmoil’s complex.

Tenebrous - Docks

“Yes, stowing away would be more... ideal.” The left head of Doublecross’ draconian form stated. “We sure as hell don’t have the firepower or resources to hand an entire base.”

“Ya, but it wouldn’t be as fun!” The right head chimed in.

The left head shot his counterpart a disgruntled sneer before looking back towards his fellow Monsterbots. “Besides, we might be able to get the surprise on one mech better than we could a hundred. Kill the higher up in his recharge cycle or something.”

The right head of the double-headed Monsterbot peered back towards the shuttle. “So... do you guys see anywhere we might be able to slip in through? Or are we gonna let our bearings out and go up the main boarding ramp?”

Bushfire followed Sextant and the others, who were following the Justices. The mechanic weren't one who particularly enjoyed the sight of executions, so he hoped this "display" wasn't something of the sort. Unless it was an Autobot. Still though, orders were orders, and he knew where his loyalties lied.

As he followed, he decided to stay silent. He didn't want to be a distraction. He just simply walked.

Amongst the coterie of assembled Decepticons assigned to "welcome" the arriving justices, Whisper watched quietly as the infamous members of the Decepticon Justice Division disembarked from their vessel.

Whisper had never seen one of them in person. Granted, he had never needed to. He was a loyal Decepticon. His air strike patrol were all loyal; whatever else their flaws may be, a lack of loyalty was not one of them.

“My lords, If you will allow it, I will show you to Lord Turmoil,”
their greeter-in-chief offered, warmly.

“Excellent. Please, lead on,” the middle sized one replied. He was the one with a Decepticon insignia...on his face! Wow. Impressive dedication. That had to be the leader. Tarn. They had given up their own names and taken on the names of the first five states to fall.

Whisper simply fell in line behind the group, doing nothing in particular to draw any attention to himself.

Lookout felt a cold hand on his shoulder and almost screamed, covering his mouth instinctively. When he turned around, it was with a glare that could burn holes in steel.

"You tryin' t'get me killed?" Lookout huffed.

“Frag, they’re more impressive in person…”

"Yeh. For sure. Imagine one of them being the last thing you see? No thank you. If I wasn't loyal before...and I was, no question....I sure as fraggin' frag am now. Can you imagine goin' inside that incinerator one? Yeeeh. Yeeeeeeeeeesh."

“C’mon guys. Let’s not stick around here any longer than we need to!” the navigator said, and Lookout agreed.

He began to slowly but steadily approach the boarding ramp and descend, more than ready to be off that deathship.

Ignition followed the rest of the engineers, who were in turn following the Justices. He looked to one of the nearby mechs, Sextant, who seemed to be a bit worried and seemed to be hurrying along. "Hey, wait up! Don't leave me here!"

Taking a quick look back at the path they had come from, Ignition hesitated for a second, and then continued behind the others. What this demonstration was going to be like, nobody knew.

Grotesque continued to use his nose to get more information which made him frown.

"You two smell that? I smell fear. Real, honest, complete fear. I mean, I'd be making a joke about 'Cons leaking oil but I think a couple of them actually did that. Getting a ride is a good idea but that fear will probably make getting in harder since none of them will be wanting to screw up now."

He continued to smell the area.

"Just whose ship is that anyway? I don't recognize any smells."

Skyrar had stopped what he was doing when he heard the announcement, he felt alil bit bare without a squadron, so tagged along with the engineers and techs, Seekers seldom traveled alone, and abit of extra muscle if anyone tried anything would always help, others were always jealous of seekers.

Skyrar cept an optic on the bigger ones like Brushfire. Skyrar mostly kept to himself and said little, he just followed along watching, keeping the others just out of arms reach.

“My lords, If you will allow it, I will show you to Lord Turmoil,” the lead member of Turmoil's welcoming party spoke.

“Excellent. Please, lead on,” their chief had replied cordially, leading them onwards into the fortress proper.

"I find myself pleasantly surprised by their level of decorum," Kaon said. The Dynamo had not been sure what to expect upon arrival here. It was good to protocol being followed, even out here in the less-civilized regions of the universe. Such organic primitivity. The planet would be far improved when it had been successfully mechaformed in its entirety, doing away with the vestiges of its organic past.

"I suppose," Tesarus added, bringing up the rear of their group.

>>”I must say, Turmoil has done wonders to this place. His work here on Nebulos has made excellent addition to our cause. Shame we can’t stay long. I’d like to see if his science teams have made any break throughs already,”<< Vos added, his typical fluency returning to its standard levels when he spoke in Old Cybertronian.

"Breakthroughs here? Unlikely," Tesarus continued.

"Turmoil is more of a war commander, valuing weapons over research....but this shipyard may surprise us all. High command has not authorized construction of a new one in quite some time. Surely its ultimate purpose is not to mass-produce the same old war machines," Kaon said, looking around as they walked, his tesla coils sparking as the Pet kept close to his heels.

The seeker escorting the DJD to meet with Turmoil wasted little time getting his job done. No doubt feeling extremely uncomfortable being put between two absolutely terrifying entities. No one needed to preach about the reputation of the DJD. Every Decepticon had heard the stories. They knew of the finality getting on their list meant. And Turmoil? Everyone who had served under or alongside him considered him every bit as terrifying as any member of the DJD. He wasn’t one to be kept waiting.

”Commander Turmoil – the Decepticon Justice Division.” The seeker proclaimed as he entered the Command Center and quickly stepped aside before being run over by Tarn and his group of sadistic monsters.

And as Tarn strolled into dimly lit Command Center of fortress Tenebrous he could see a command cradle surrounded by hundreds of monitors and at the center of that all – a massively built charcoal Decepticon commander with teal highlights standing with his back turned towards them, observing one of the many screens. A simple gesture. I do not fear you. This is my domain. You hold no power over me.

Slowly Turmoil turned his head to take a sideways glance at his guests and addressed only their leader with the blunt, taciturn manner he was notorious for.

”Welcome, Tarn.”

As the DJD were allowed entry into the command hub of Turmoil's base of operations on this world, Whisper had continued to follow along, his footsteps made only the faintest hint of a sound. There were situations where it was best to keep a low profile--not make oneself conspicuous. This was one such moment.

”Welcome, Tarn,” Turmoil offered, as bluntly and uninvitingly as Whisper had ever heard him. Not that he was a commander known for his social graces even at the best of times, but it was clear that the Justice Division was only being welcomed in the most begrudging of terms.

But why? For that answer, Whisper would have to wait.

The Peaceful Tyranny- Observation Deck

Back at the Observation Deck aboard the ship, two Maintenance-Cons were lagging behind. Drill Bit was busy guzzling down all the high grade he could from the self-serv machine. He lost count of how many he had and was becoming intoxicated, lost in the bliss of having some decent fuel, after who knows how long he and his brother had been living on subsiding varieties.

The maintenance they had performed on the Peaceful Tyranny had been easy. The beautiful, well kept vessel needed only the bare minimum of repairs, and more or lrss Drill Bit and Gauge just needed to tighten and polish the bearings and piping. As they were asked to do, Gauge looked over his datapad, making sure everything they were asked to do was done, and had sent in their report. That was several kliks ago. Drill Bit needed to be stopped before the drilling duo were apprehended by their current employers. Just thinking about what could happen sent shivers throughout Gauge's circuits. Now, he was getting an increasingly bad feeling in his fuel pump.

..."We're rascals and scoundrels, we're villains and knaves
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho
We're devils and black sheep, we're really bad eggs
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho,

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We extort and pilfer, we filch and sack
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho
Maraud and embezzle and even highjack
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho!!!"
, Drill Bit sang loudly and drunkenly.

Gauge was as furious as he was scared. He made a fist with his right hand, pulled his elbow back and let loose, smashing his fist into his bigger twin's faceplate, with hopefully enough force to get his aft out of the daze he was in. Energon had spilled from the drill-former's container he had brought to his lips, drenching parts of his armor before the container fell to the ground.

"Shut up, Bit, and come on before yeh git us killed! We were 'sposed to be off der ship already, and yer NOT a pirate!", Gauge exclaimed quite seriously.

"Awwww...all right, quit yer yappin'!
I know I aint no pirate, but the song was just...catchy. Let's go then, mate. 'Op on me so we can catch up quicker."
, Bit bit back, and transformed into a large orange and black drill vehicle with tank treads.

Gauge grumbled, but he was glad he got his brother's attention. He jumped ontop of the drill mech, into it's rider's seat and soon found he had to help steer his partner in the right direction and help him keep straight from crashing into the illustrious walls. That would have been disastrous and certainly would sign their death warrants.

"It aint time to go to the gallows yet,
Bit. I mean...yah...that was the best energon in who knows how long, but it doesn't mean yeh drink it all, yeh glutton."
, said the mostly black with bits of orange mini drill-former.

Tenebrous- Docks

The party was way ahead, entering into a large building. The two had finally left the ship behind, and Gauge shoved a lever on the control console forward, making Drill Bit go a lot faster, because he had been so slow and they really needed to catch up. It was kind of sad really. When they got to the Command Center, they had to explain to the guards at the outer entrance to the building, that they were part of the crew with the DJD.

Fortress Tenebrous- Command Center

Following in behind all the rest of them, the two drill-formers were overwhelmed with a sense of dread. Everyone else was silent, save for Tarn of the DJD and the Commander of this facility, an equally imposing figure- Turmoil. Drill Bit came to a halt behind the rest of the maintenance crew and remained in his alt-mode, scared the sound of his transformation might disturb the higher-ups and anger them. Gauge was happy they had made it, though he was worried about this "demonstration" the DJD wanted them to pay witness to. Who did it? What did they do? What would become of them?! Well, they just had to wait and see. Hopefully, they wouldn't get called out on being late. Tensions were very high.

Tarn said little else while he and his group were being escorted within the Decepticon base. The other justices conversed amongst themselves. He listened idly, but did not bother to comment. His crimson optics scanned the passerby idly, glancing back occasionally at their little band of Decepticons. They flickered as he noted that a few additional stragglers had tagged along. Hm.

Facing forward once they arrived at the command center, Tarn stepped inside. The seeker announced them and as he did, Tarn’s optics fell on Turmoil whose back was turned to them. His fingers curled as his optics narrowed. Ah. So that was how it was, hm? His mask hid whatever it was Tarn might have been feeling at the gesture.

”Welcome, Tarn.”

“I thank you for receiving us on such short notice, Turmoil,” Tarn replied pleasantly. He strolled easily into the command center, peering at a few screens curiously before turning his attention back to Turmoil. His posture was relaxed. He held his hands neatly behind his back. His demeanor was of one who was wholly…unimpressed. “You’ve arranged an appropriate venue, I trust?”

- :CON: -

Shocker felt sick. They should not be here. He stood beside Look-Out, having followed the DJD. Where else was he supposed to go? He didn’t know where this demonstration was supposed to be. He glanced back at some late arrivals. Bah. They were going to get themselves killed. Turmoil. Tarn. The DJD. It was such an unsavory place to be.

Shocker had the odd sense that despite whatever pleasantries were going on, some sort of battle was being waged between Turmoil and Tarn. One that he didn’t quite understand. Nor did he want to really. That was better left for mechs in command positions. Shockers was happy where he was.

His demeanor was of one who was wholly…unimpressed. “You’ve arranged an appropriate venue, I trust?”

”Your target has been kept in the dark,” Turmoil spoke out, turning to face Tarn – his demeanor as unflinching as ever, ”As you requested.”

”I would have you gone before the word of your presence spreads out and turns my troops into whimpering fools and sets back this operation by orns.” The intimidating Decepticon commander continued, knowing full well that he was under the DJDs mercy by having let them into his fortress in the first place. Yet, Tarn knew as well that Turmoil had allowed the Justice Division to enter Nebulos. The Peaceful Tyranny could have never made it through the Perdition and its support ships had Turmoil challenged DJD’s decree.

”Humour your warriors Damus,” Turmoil spoke out, few of the screens bringing out surveillance feed of the Decepticon Tarn had named, ”Hunt the traitor down. Create the spectacle you yearn for. And let me do my part in ending this war in peace.”

Skyrar became anxious, he began to wounder if this glorious demonstration was going to be something like everyone being flushed into space, and filming it to show future generations of Decepticons what happens when there found wanting, or perhaps a random summary execution to enforce discipline.

Skyrar quietly said to himself. "I will not be found wanting."

Skyrar also wondered if such thoughts were disloyal, if this was tantamount to disloyalty, and quickly banished all thoughts that the DJD high command had anything but good intentions for there best and brightest, The rest of these guys... maybe they could get spaced... or summarily executed.

The stage was set. For Kaon's part, he was enjoying the theatricality of the whole affair. Apart from his primary function within the Decepticon Justice Division--their collective, primary function honestly--as judges, juries and executioners of the treasonous, Kaon also enjoyed his work on the communications side of things. Very little, spoken or unspoken, got past him. And he could not help but grin, bemused in the utmost, as he saw Turmoil's back facing them as they approached and the customary pleasantries were exchanged. It was a gesture meant to convey a lack of fear, but Kaon knew better.

It could never truly be a complete lack of fear. Only a situational one. For who amongst the DJD's steadily decreasing number of traitors on the List was still around to tell the tale of their horrific end, regardless of how powerful they were? None.

Should any warrior, commander or vaunted Warrior Elite turn against Megatron's ideals, and the ideals held by all of the Division, that was when the fear would take hold. For that reason alone, Turmoil had no reason to fear their presence. There was nothing to indicate he was anything other than a loyal commander. And so, Tarn would surely indulge him, just as Turmoil had indulged them.

”I would have you gone before the word of your presence spreads out and turns my troops into whimpering fools and sets back this operation by orns.”

"We would not dream of interfering with your operations here," Kaon said, looking around. "Such wonderful Cybertronian architecture already in place in such a relatively short period. Your efforts bring us that much closer to this war's end. As do ours."

His optics then turned to the viewscreens that had previously held Turmoil's attention, several of them

"I think perhaps you misunderstand our purpose. Word of our presence, and particularly word of the fate that is soon to befall poor Spintrail, must be allowed to spread. Those here must bear witness to his charges and the consequences. It decreases the likelihood of such behavior being repeated."

"Bring him out," Tesarus sighed. "Let all bear witness."

Bombshot heard the commotion of new arrivals and heard whispers it was the famous DJD. His idols were here? Who are they after now? Whoever it was, the poor mech hadonly a few short cycles before falling before the DJD. Most mechs would be easily dispatched by any single member of the DJD. Only the likes of Megatron and his elite warriors would have a chance against the mechs of DJD. By the time Bombshot got around to see the ships, almost everyone was gone but he could see a trail of mechs who had followed them. It looked like they all went to the command center to speak to Commander Turmoil. It would make sense for them to check in with the commander.

"Hey Bombshot, why were you in a hurry?"

A Neboulian ran up to the mech. Bombshot took a moment to look down at his organic resource. Some would consider them friends and maybe Bombshot had gotten used to his presence enough to enjoy it on occasions.

"Slicker, it seemed I lost my chance to see my heroes arrive here. It begs the question who they are hunting here though. As far as I know we are all loyal to Megatron and his high commanders."

"Wait a minute, you mean those mechs who are judge, jury, and executioners? I still don't get why you idolize them but hey all I do is get you supplies and the rare ideas."

"Yes, the DJD is here. They live to install justice to the Decepticon cause and make sure Megatron is never challenged. Now if you want to continue to live, you will stay out of sight while they are around. Not too many here know you work with me and then assume you are a slave which you are. Main reason you and your people still exist is your leader welcomed us with open arms."
