I am trying to buy G1 Slag but I am unsure how to identify the real from the bootlegs on eBay. I read and saw pictures that the early Slag KO had telling signs and were all gold chrome. But now they're nearly impossible to distinguish from the real deals - silver chrome, matching paint apps, etc. The fakes also come with stickers and instructions booklets like the real ones.

Are most G1 Slags that come with a full sheet of unused sticker on eBay - KO's?

If the seller is trying to pass off a KO as the original, he is going to take pictures of it from the most awkward angles so that no "expert" could tell the difference. My recommendation would be to click on various e-bay sellers stores and buy from the guy who has the most TF's for sale that have never been KO'd before. Plenty of Targetmasters, Headmasters, Pretenders, Powermasters, etc is a good sign that anything else he might have for sale is original.
