Japanese clothing brand A Bathing Ape does it again: after the green camouflage and grey camouflage versions, they will also release a red camouflage version of G1 Optimus Prime (a.k.a. Convoy).





Release date looks to be Saturday, March 30th.

Oh no, not another one! Poor G1 Optimus is getting more redecos than Bumblebee lately.

I was in the BAPE store in NYC recently. They had some cool clothes, but it was all pretty expensive.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but these would be do much more appealing IMO, without the BAPE logo on them.

A discreet sticker on the box window would be just fine. Just my two-pence...

A Bathing Ape has announced a third reissue G1 Optimus Prime in their line of exclusive redecos. Like the previous two this version comes in camo, but this time in red. The figure will be made available on March 30th and has a price of 7560 Yen. Images mirrored below.

That really rustles my jimmies.

Too bad its going to be limited quantities.

Perfectly camoflaged for those constant battles amongst groves of red maple in the fall.

He will looke camouflaged in a collection of Optimus Prime.

Aw, come on, what? Again? Sure, G1 OP is one of the best TF ever, but wont the mold suffer some sort of degradation after the 20th or 30th reisue?

And what's up with that RED camo? Is it to hide in Starwberryslurpeeland?

Not my area of expertise, but this is the one mold that HasTak have had no problems retooling/recasting over the years. It's just too iconic
